  • An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Questionable Questing

30 or so but it still sucks as it ruins the flow of choice. In Legends of Runettera I attack and they can block or they attack and I block

There are trap cards in Hearthstone but again, you can't block. In yugioh the oppenenet picks what creatures to attack but they still have to attack them

It's a funny thing, how something small and seemingly insignificant can screw up the core gameplay. Reminds me of how fast shooters evolve, since the minute one innovation is made it immediately gets copied over because of how much better it feels. Like with Halo introducing recharging shields, when before that you needed to hunt for medic bags.

Or how quickly unlimited spring became commonplace or more faster pace movement. Or hell even how quickly limited parkour was introduced after Titanfall. Or various weapon stats after Destiny.

Weapon stats? And Halo is way more forgiving then Call of Duty where without shields you fucking die in a nano second
Andy333

You know how with Destiny, every piece of gear has its own stats and abilities that you can freely change around and customize? Along with hundreds of skins and decals you can on top of it. Yeah sure, RPG's have been doing that for decades, but Destiny was really the one who was able to mix that with satisfying gunplay and is the reason for unfortunately a lot of microtransactions. Since shooter's copied the formula.

Makes for easy lootbox bullshit. Gambleing but you aren't even gambeling for money

A fucking plague on the industry, I don't know who started it whales buying up every accessory for hundreds of dollars or mobile games acting like crack for soccer moms. I blame both.

Its made triple AAA games into a money pit I refuse to put my cash into

I just hate how soulless it's become. It's now committees, stockholders, metrics, it's gotten to the point you can literally see the HR meetings each line of dialogue must've had before it's allowed in the game.

It was always about money but now it is bout the most money possible

My day's been pretty decent. Just been chilling, didn't want to go anywhere because of how chaotic Black Friday and thanksgiving yesterday would make everything.

Ah. I found 12 spoiled turkeys in a cooler left out today on shift. Me and my close and evening crew weren't involved in that so we'll be clear. 1,100 dollars worth or so I'm told of food

Christ, reading about the cost of running a restaurant is insane sometimes. They literally make pennies on some of the dishes, the profit margins are so tight sometimes.

I've heard about them. You have to consider that to make money you have to spend money weekly or daily on food

Supply chains are a big problem too since unless you're a franchise for big chain that already has a prebuilt infustruct to fall back on, your going to have to go ahead hunting for all the supplies, everything from tomato's to silverware and uniforms.

It's why like seventy or eighty percent of all family owned restaurants close. It's not about the quality of the food really, but how good of a negotiator and administrator you can be.

We are part of a franchise but get everything local. You want to talk Jane or something else?
