It's a funny thing, how something small and seemingly insignificant can screw up the core gameplay. Reminds me of how fast shooters evolve, since the minute one innovation is made it immediately gets copied over because of how much better it feels. Like with Halo introducing recharging shields, when before that you needed to hunt for medic bags.
