Lost a game of Commander where I had 18 treasure tokens turned into 3/3 power toughness assassins because my Commander that caused the ability, the Legendary creature I build my deck around, got blinked out of reality just long enough so the effect didn't activate. Well it really depends on the story and tone you're going for. If it's more of a comedy, and the relationships are more like fuck buddies. If it's a slow burn polyamorous story with three of four people awkwardly trying to make a relationship work. If its several friends that slowly start developing feelings. But none of these concepts are the traditional harem.

I like my dominating demon lord protags who fuck and corrupt and mind control to make a harem work.
