Going by canon? An awkward teenager, probably a little autistic, but definitely a lot smarter and aware than even he himself gives credit for. He just unfortunately lacked the power or maturity to make a difference when he could with Taylor.

But in terms of fanfiction. Someone with a lot of potential despite his appearance. He could be an everyman, he could be a villain, he could be the hero. He's the Jaune from RWBY of any fanfic. Someone with the least and most potential at the same time. He would be a lot more popular if you didn't have strong characters like Panpan, Taylor, Vicky, or Lisa to latch onto.

Yes, Panpan is Amy. And yeah Greg is actually very smart. He was one of the first people, other than Lisa obviously, to know Taylor was Skitter. He tried to talk to her about it, but she thought he was trying to threaten her instead of helped and covered him in spiders until he promised not to say anything. It was a pretty dick move on Taylor's part and a pretty big early hint she was becoming a villain.

But with the whole hero and villain thing, it's not as important in this one since all the characters are being mind controlled So even the more villainous characters are either going to talk in such an exaggerated way, like any stereotypical NTR plot or porn villain, that they'll come off as goofy rather than intimidating.

But with the more serious villains, you'll get signs there not fully in control and will thus be by default more sympathetic than canon. Plus a key aspect of the videos is they soften a lot of things. Not just in looks, but heroes become less flawed and moody. Villains take things less personal and there less full on murders since that doesn't make for good porn.

But afterward, whatever complaint I have about Taytay's behavior has been rectified. She unironically did nothing wrong. The assholes of Earth Bet deserved to be mind controlled and turned into a slave army and they should be praying for her return.

I'll think about it. But I think hulk will work better or at least the dynamic. Because the big story beat for Taylor is the normality of it all. That she wakes up in the morning sucks her dad's dick then goes to school without a second thought. How the video has made it all banal. So with Greg he'll be a nerdy friend that will also occasionally join in on gangbangs with her girlfriends.

But has an alter ego of a wrecking machine. Him and Sophia along with a recently triggered Taylor make up a new superhero team ready to punish the villains. I like it, sounds goofy enough to fit in with the banality and slice of life aspect, but the three slowly growing from nerds into punisher level edgy anti heros is a nice arc I can have too in the background.

Which also neatly corresponds with the growing depravity of the whole city as everyone's twisted by the videos.

It goes without saying there'll be more passion and emotion and I want to avoid any Ironman stuff with Greg because I want him to be seen as more than a nerd. But I sleep, will talk more about it tomorrow. Hopefully then I'll have a chapter to show you.
