Questionable Questing

I mean all that's super interesting, but I bring up the casual debauchery in particular because it really gave a lot of shock value. It was just peasants talking about how wonderful rune or potions are, it was farm animal humans. lol. It created a genuinely alien world and culture, and I hope you're able to recreate that feeling.

My favorite work was often the porn but other parts were pure non porn

That was the fun of it. Not the porn, but looking at a completely alien world that looks and feels similar to ours, but once you crack the surface wasn't just a grim dark medieval setting with a spray paint of magic. It was like experiencing Morrowind for the first time and seeing how bonkers a fantasy setting could really go.

Monsters play a big role. Trolls, vampires, helpful spirits. All kinds of wild magic like that as a natural extension of its history

Sorry it took a little while, but I finally fucking found it. lol. The Knight Girl I was showing you is Darce from the first fear and hunger game, and some mad lad actually commissioned a full impreg comic about her.

Good interesting I hope. lol. But as for what to talk about I'm fine with whatever. I'm still chipping away at Charlie. Right now I'm writing the banquet hall she gets summoned into and later slaughters all the people there. Trying to find the right balance of other worldly horror, while also keeping Charlie entirely in character.

How do you balance the smut with this?

Well firstly this is not a smut chapter. This is prolog that acts as a hook. With Charlie getting ripped away from her home by a bunch of child murdering rich assholes who want to use her as a weapon, causing her to have a very reasonable crash out against them. But secondly it's a part of building mystery. Who are these people? Why Charlie? What happened to her afterwards?

I like. Good that your writing and building up a story.
Wish to hear thoughts on original setting for Hurik's adventures?

These questions carry over to the Journalist internal monologues as he spends the first arc trying to despite and discover the puzzle that is Charlie slowly falling in love in the process. It's the set up, then pay off. Introduced with a Mystery that slowly gets revealed.

With the smut not only acting as good character building, since its a neat way to show just how much Charlie's grown and changed that she freely talks about being married multiple times and how much she enjoyed being on top and in control, but it's also introduces more mysteries in how she ended up here to begin with.

But talk about Hurrik. You keep the name and the settings? With DnD Mixed with ASOIAF or are you going full balls to the wall original with it?
