  • I feel like it would be better if the story wasn't "Fishie's cheat is Fishies", but instead be "Biigoh's cheat is Biigohs", so then you can have Jack Biigoh Rakan, Majin Buugoh, Marshall D. Biigoh, Biigoh Shukaku, etc. etc.
According to the Unwritten Rules of The Isekai Association #11, when two isekaiers meet, one must shoot the other in the back as soon as possible, as neither can tolerate the prospering of the other.
It's not weird to sympathize with the antagonist of Sora no Otoshimono and dislike the protagonist, right?

Ahhh... Yeah. That is a bit..
There's a problem with a lot of these "urban villain" types, because of the place of origin, especially in these last few years due to propaganda, like, they won't break the law anymore, it's a little sad, especially the more realistic "urban villain" types

I read this one story, it is titled as a "villain in the city with a many children many blessings", but it's 80% realistic business dealings, with all the rewards being just mo money, like a gold mine in siberia or an ability to see stock volatility

and the "protagonist" who could be dealt with with one bullet since all he has is that he's a transmigrator from earth from 2020's to the 2008-ish era of this parallel earth with financial analyst experience, is still alive after 300 chapters

I just found out something weird. People in Japan sometimes give the deceased new names so that when their old names are used after their death their ghosts don't appear. These dharma names cost a lot of money however and the quality of the name depends on how much you spend. So it's basically a practice to scam grieving families out of their money.
So basically if we upgrade that, then we do "Isekai as Yorinobu Arasaka with Villain Version Many Children Many Blessings Cheat System".

Been reading some urban villain stories lately, thought applying it to Cyberpunk Edgerunners

Because, you know, these "villains" aren't the ultimate antagonist, they're the fodder, school bullies, you know?

So have someone isekai as the school bully in the anime, and it's 273, the first year of high school, some poor kid named David transferred over

    I mean, it depends, right?

If the system rewards such a thing, then yes, so if you want to write it that way

Some authors are keen on not going after non-virgins/moms, which is a bit weird, but not very weird, considering the place that "urban" genre comes from, but also weird, considering how many women here cheat or lie about sex

Perhaps the problem with the "realistic" type Pokemon stories is that there is a focus on being too dark, or too internal, or just on Pokemon, when the darkest thing is the human heart
With cheating and cuckoldry comes either separation or forgiveness, and since to NTR is to put on a green hat, sometimes, shades of green are called "forgiveness green"

"When in doubt in the cultivation world and asked of where you got your cheat system rewards, you can always push the blame onto a nameless and mysterious elder in the jianghu who gave you things for a cryptic reason."
I feel a reason why realism pokemon stories never feel real is because there's a lack of real feeling history in setting.

Like if you look at real world history, then silph co should be a survivor of the government targeting zaibatsus after the previous wars, while giovanni should be remnant of the era where entrepreneurs had to do shady shit, like

It just feels different than people just writing "gritty" or whatever, since they are usually without the layers of conflict, politics and history from previous generations inherent to a real world

like there's a difference between knowing this is a fantasy setting and using "fantasy setting" as an excuse to be lazy about world building

you know like, for example, giovanni's existence is reasonable because he is in an era where strict institutions are not in place, while the ecobomy just crashed so people needed a way of living

so it's not like rockets apeared out of no where but out of necessity
There's this one story where the MC, after absorbing Majin Buu and Frieza, went and beat up Saitama barely, causing Saitama to go into a daze. After a while, Saitama snapped out of it and declared that he'll do 200 push-ups, 200 sit-ups, 200 squats, and 20 kilometers of long-distance running every day from now on.

It's never really explained how these "return of the god of war" in the urban genre web novels can make, like, a mercenary force capable of fighting nations in, like, five years, and have, like, 100,000 soldiers under them, and like, where do they even fight, some of these stories write them fighting in mexico for cartels, which I find more believable than those that say they fucked around in the middle east

There's this one story that has chakra training be "body refining", and then had MC upgrade from that to qi refining, then ling refining, etc. I'm a little sick of them destroying the setting, but then I remember that the setting was in large part inspired by such myths so
like there were a lot of stories that almost made it there back when everyone wrote Harry Potter crossovers but it seems like it was only crossovers with one setting
