• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

  3. So what's really going on in Worm?

IIRC the S9 M.O. was to hit small towns in the midwest. Brockton Bay was the exception to the norm and only really considered because it had already been hit hard by Leviathan.
  4. So what's really going on in Worm?

Eh, it's been a while since I read Higurashi, but I do remember that it was organized into question arcs and answer arcs, so maybe you should have waited until you got to the answer arcs? On the other hand, I do remember enjoying the question arcs more than the answer arcs. On the other other...
  5. So what's really going on in Worm?

  6. So what's really going on in Worm?

I was more talking about the concussion-fueled punch. Expecting her to be rational and making optimal decisions there would itself be stupid, but you're right the stuff leading up to it and that came after it were very dumb. Especially letting the divorce lawyer have time to poison the well.
  7. So what's really going on in Worm?

Panacea was mean to Skitter. Skitter threatened to kill an entire roomful of people though, so I'm going to say that bad idea was entirely justified. The rest of it was just the world picking up her emotional baggage and beating her to death with it. You might as well call Taylor a dumb bitch...

Personally, I feel like most of this is a natural consequence of the whole "Taylor is a massive control freak so she doesn't pick any interesting options in her contract despite immortality being on offer" thing. There's not much to do with that that isn't horribly contrived.
