Advent of the God-Harem King [Highschool DxD/Exalted] (CLOSED)

Now now BlackThief: we all love Mizuki's writing, but we cannot tell him what to write.

Just to be sure: is there anyone opposed to Issei insta-learning You Can be More (aka: Now You Like Something As If You Liked It All Your Life) to use it on Gasper?
Not the kind of people to do that, Issei is.

Issei's a Manip 1 and loves it. Is this really the sort of thing he'd do?

Speaking of that. Any requests? The more general the better quality and faster I can write something, but a simple prompt of direction would be fine.

Manip in Exalted is bullshiting, Charisma and Presence is what this charm is all about

Cost: 5m, 1wp; Mins: Presence 4, Essence 3; Type: Supplemental
Keywords: Combo-OK, Emotion, Social
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Hypnotic Tongue Technique
This Charm enhances (Charisma + Presence)-based attacks to build or repair shared Intimacies.
This Charm is mirrored by the Abyssal Charm Broken Heart Triumph.

so this is right up Issei's alley really

It's not bullshitting people, it's making something sound so awesome that a person decides "Yes, this should be a major part of my life."

It also allows you to pick any random dude on the street and convince said random dude that he is awesome so thoroughly that he spontaneously stops being an extra becomes a Heroic Mortal.

So, you know. It's being able to do this:

Let's see...you said slice of life and epic fighting scenes are your forte? Then I have two suggestions:

1) Daily Life of Three Ex-Fallen Angels. We see how Dohnaseek, Kalawarner and Raynare adapt to their new lot in life.
2) How Oni Fight Boredom beside Alcohol. Suika Ibuki thinks back to the times together with a certain Oni from Mount Ooe*.

*This is totally not a spoiler. Believe it!

No, that's Charisma + Presence, not Manipulation

Yes? I did not disagree with you
huh, ok I had assumed you were, as I described Manipulation in Exalted to be basically bullshiting people, while 'You can be more' is inline with what Issei does, aka Charisma and Presence, in the post right above your own /shrug my mistake, sorry for the confusion

"You Can Be More" opens up so many options... Some of them, very scary options...

But what the heck. It's an Exalted quest. If the MC isn't getting into situations where they've got to ask, "Should I do this crazy thing?", it's not being done right!

Punching people into ducks is the traditional use, not the only use. Since I can't recall what the additional charm for Creation-Slaying Oblivion Kick is I can't say for that one.
The real issue is, don't you also need Hundred Leagues Sight Procedure or something? Since Sidereals don't really have any Perception Charms that do what you want.

So you'd have to be a...

Oh, okay. I'm okay with this. I guess I just always thought I was the only one who realized that a Sidereal could never Creation-Slaying Oblivion Kick. Without some weird artifact binoculars I guess.

(Also you don't need a damage-dealing Charm, I'm pretty sure you just need to hit them at all! I was just hoping I could solve a mystery for folks, since it's in one of the slightly obscure boats about sailing or something. And I have never seen anyone else but the book author actually say "Hundred Leagues Sight Procedure," they just talk about seeing super far like it's obvious.)

Creation Slaying Kick requires you to be on top of the Blessed Mountain since the world is a flatland and allow you to see far more than in Earth.

You know, I haven't checked this thread in ages...

but there is something I am wondering. Long ago when this was new someone suggested using this (Or something like it?) to make a speech to all the girls in our class to make them bi. Did we ever do that?

Now that I think the description that Bright used to describe Gasper sacred gear power is very similar to Crimson King from JoJo.

Mostly for the silliness and because it was hilariously Issei to do so. I think it was at first suggested that we do it to the Harem members so they enjoy each other just as much as we them though. It has been a long time since this thing started.

Given the near fanatical fangirling Issei has become a target of at school, combined with Sona's disposition, it's best not to mess with the class or we might make a mess that'll really come back to bite us in the ass. As for the harem, they seem comfortable enough with each other now as long as we don't neglect them/make stupid mistakes.

King Crimson. And I think it was more complicated than that. But that one was just so much bullshit, it's hard to keep track of what it does.

Not as much as Gold Experience Requiem, though.

Thanks for the correction.

Well, finally finished reading the quest so far, quite good all things considered. The issue with Gasper is somewhat similar with our already accepted quest to turn Mil-Tan into a magical girl, in the sense that if Gasper desire to become female we already are working on a solution for that, (unless people have forgotten Mil-Tan quest).

No, I don't think anyone has, or could for that matter have forgotten Mil-Tan, after all, that IS the reason we started researching the Evil Piece system in the first place, now that we have our workshop we can even finish that quest fairly quickly *for a given value of quickly*

and Gasper has no desire to be female going by the baseline timeline nor any hunger for the D for that matter

I always thought Gasper ended up being a buff guy in the future anyway. Or did I hear that part wrong for the epilogue.

I think the author did that to troll the fanbase.

A lot of the fanbase ignores DXD EX, because of that, and many other things.
