  • The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

I am following DC Comics: Dumpstat Healer, in creative writing and something seems to be going wrong with the alerts for that thread. Previously I had it set up to only send me emails when the OP posted a new chapter, but now I am getting emails randomly when anyone posts in the thread. I have unwatched and rewatched a couple of times to make sure that I have "Receive OP email notifications" selected but I am getting random emails notifying me that other readers have commented . OP posted a chapter that caused a lot of discussion so I have gotten 5 emails in the last 2 hours of nothing but other readers complaining about the latest chapter. It is not every time someone comments, OP last posted on page 72 and we are now on page 93. But I only want an email when OP posts something. Is there a setting I can change to do that?
 
Yeah, I figure the lack of email alerts since yesterday has to do with the other problems going on. Then again, you never know; sometimes the gods take a dump on your head and everything goes wrong all at once.
 
Just in case, I'll mention that this also affects the email for the monthly Two-Step Verification process. I haven't been able to access my account on my phone since this morning. I just don't receive the confirmation code.
 
I'm still not getting any? Not getting on site alerts either, any ideas?

Yes, I watched the threads. Turns out I had to reset the alerts preferences to default and back to my preferred settings to get them working again? Still not getting emails, but hopefully they will be fixed in the next couple days!
