Bully Quest [Worm]

[X] The next day after school, you get Taylor a cellphone... it'll be like old times... get Taylor a cute pink cellphone with a nice case with something cute running into a tree. You know doing something nice for her... and also so she can call us to ask for permission to do things she wants to. Oh and just cause we remembered it, we can put on her mother's favorite song as the ring tone ^_^ Cause you know best friends we remember these things, all the good things in life.

Why the lesbian?

... I am pretty sure we can ruin the relationship without resorting to Yuri tactics.

Definately worth a vote.

- [X] Now that she's properly been introduced to her duties, you believe its time to isolate her a bit more... she already has almost no friends... but that one girl who actually talks to her could be a problem if allowed to persist. You could just tell Taylor to break it off with her... but you have a much better idea. Let a few days pass to settle into the new routine first, then once everything has sunk in and she begins to get comfortable, kindly ask Taylor about that friend of hers, and wonder out loud if maybe the reason she hangs around someone like Taylor is cause she's a lesbian and wants an easy lay... well then being her friend Taylor should definitely take her somewhere nice and ask her to make out, but of course don't give up the goods if her friend agrees. It isn't hers to give after all.

Not quite sure about this one. I don't really see it flying with Taylor all that much.

Mainly cause it was one of the claims i remember in canon they were using to really poke holes in Taylor though casual conversation. Though its probably too early to use such a tactic.

Actually what do we really know about Taylor's newest friend? OOC, we know its a friendship based upon pity. Perhaps we could dig up something exceptionally dirty, or implicate her into something horrible.

Does this sound good to anyone?

So maybe getting Madison or Sophia to dig up some dirt on her? It was mentioned in one of the first story posts that the girl looked like she belonged to one of the gangs in the school, so we might want to check out that angle.

EDIT: Also Bii, shouldn't we update the Char sheet to reflect Taylors new status as Pet/Maid?

Use Taylor, have her take her shopping and slip things in the girls bag. Something expensive and tagged. So that when she goes though the door and it alarms Taylor can CLAIM that she was trying to steal it... or Emma and company can come by and claim they saw the two steal what ever it is, and have Taylor corroborate their story.

From there they can get to spreading 'true' rumours about the girl being a thief. And use it as an excuse to have Taylor integrate with their group publicly, because she was a 'good girl' who helped spot the thief.

She's still the victim until otherwise noted.

I don't think we should rely to heavily on our "Bully Cliche" friends too much. It may or may not lead into certain issues.

I haven't honestly read Worm.

But putting things in personally, or relying on Taylor's active willingness, seems all too risky. Preferably, if we could get her friend to act like a heavy ass, and make Taylor feel betrayed, perhaps getting her to bully her new friend herself. That would be pretty swell. But we really need dirt.

Yeah, relying on Taylor taking the lead or doing as we ask on her own is not something we should rely on atm. Maybe after a couple of weeks of wrok on her, but right now she really needs our gentle hand to guide her in picking the right choices. So dig up some dirt on her friend, and then use that to turn Taylor against her. Push Taylor into bullying her "friend".

something like this:
[X] Speaking of which, We should really check out this friend of Taylor's, see if there is any dirt we can find on her. It wouldn't do for Taylor to be associating with the wrong crowd, now that she has us looking out for her.

Also as a fyi, cellphones are something that Taylor and her dad don't use due to how her mother died... basically, she was answering her cellphone when she got in a car accident.

Glorious.

I think we should make Taylor steal something form the school authority.
To make her even more desperate and don't have anyone else to turn to only our group that will accept her.

I want to close the opportinuty that Taylor will snap and doing reasonable thing that normal people do.
Like talk with her father,or school authority.

So, unless things radically... it looks like you're going to bully Taylor by buying her a cellphone and paying for the monthly fees for it... poor girl is too poor to afford a cellphone.

It's pretty bad, and helps to establish the control aspect well. I think a certain level of financial dependence also sets the tone pretty well.

Lemme put it in perspective for you.

Taylor and her father don't own a cellphone. You know the reason now... but Taylor's father is the HEAD of the Dock Association... Ie it takes him SPECIAL effort to not own one...

And worse, the distraction that caused her to crash from the Cellphone call? Taylor herself calling her mother to find out what was wrong since i believe that her mother and father had just had an argument that she was not privy too... and thus already pretty distracted. So when Taylor called her... well she got to find out that SHE basically caused her mother to crash.

Neither of the 2 have touched one since.

I also think that the reinforcing of class distinctions is a nice touch. It puts Taylor in Emma's financial debt, especially as a gift and not a loan. It also carries a nice implied threat, if Taylor rebels she'll be stuck with paying whatever contract Emma sets up for her.

We signed a uncancellable phone plan in her name right?

I do have to ask people, what should are long term goals be BESIDES Taylor?
I mean, as long as we keep a firm hand, we should be able to keep Taylor as our flunky for quite awhile, and while just bullying her would be fun, there must be something else we can direct our energies to.

Simple... We're going to take the act on the road and be queen bitch of the world.

You launch off the ledge of the building and into the air. The wind whistles around you, while your cape flaps about for a moment.

You pushed and changed into nothing more than smoke and shadows. You had experimented with this, you had practiced in the ship's graveyard with many a failure where no one could see. You reached back and pulled your cape wide.

For a brief moment, you glided upwards. With the same momentum, but less mass, you flew. True, you didn't have an Alexandria package, but this was close enough to flying.

Your heart didn't beat, your blood didn't flow, but it was all you. The wind whipped around and as you darted by a fire escape. You pulled and reached out with an arm to the railing and grabbed on for a moment to kill your momentum. For the slightest of moment, you could feel your muscles straining, before gravity caught hold of you. And you pushed again as you fell downwards.

Like a shadow, you landed on the hood of the car that the ABB gangers had herded into the alley.

You could see a girl as she struggled beneath a man. Her father was screaming and tried to reach for her.

She looked at you, and you froze at the pleading look in her eyes. At that desperation, it was the same look you recalled making that night when...

Steve.

Dad... had died. He had died and you had ran. You had changed for the first time, desperate to get away. To escape.

You had cried. Had declared how you weren't weak, but you knew the truth. You were weak. You were a coward. And on your first outing, you were frozen. You couldn't save her.

You didn't dare move. You could only see yourself trapped under that man, begging to be let go.

And then she did what you couldn't do. She screamed and fought back and that brought you out of that trance of seeing her/yourself trapped beneath a man. Buckled the man off her, and reached out with one hand to claw his eye out.

You moved. There was no time for thought. No time for regrets. Only the beats of your heart as you moved.

You shot the woman thug threatening the father with your crossbow, and flicked at the gangers by the girl. You slammed the butt of your crossbow into the back of a ganger's head, swept the other back off his feet.

And you went after the girl egging the man. You darted around her attack by pushing for the slightest of moments, moving around her before pulling and your body restarted. You breathed, you sweated, more than that, you reached out and pulled her arm back and around into a hold before pulling further.

You spun about, becoming a shadow once more to avoid that moment of vulnerability, and you had a knife in your hand. You went after the ganger who had threatened the girl. The one who had hurt the girl.

It felt right as you stalked after the thug, to just reach out and take the other eye.

That left one.

You looked at him run and then you darted after him.... low and in shadow form, moving so much faster than you could. The knight darted out once more and you crippled the runner.

Naturally, this wouldn't be enough, they would run. He could come back. And so you pinned him to a door, to make sure that she was safe.

That was how you met the girl you idolized. The girl who fought when you couldn't. You would learn her name later because she looked familiar.

It seemed silly, but you never could say no to what Emma wanted. She was, after all, your hero. Sure, you were a cape and all... but it felt nice to belong.

To have someone say that yes, you weren't a coward. You didn't get why she hated her old friend, but you didn't want to disappoint her.

And so you did everything she wanted.

You even showed her your lair and when Madison joined the group, you showed her as well when Emma asked you.

You weren't so sure about including Taylor of all people into that group... but what Emma wanted, she got. You did have to admit it was... amusing to see how the taller girl had nearly wet herself in terror at being shown the closet.

The pink flip phone was a cutesy thing when you saw it, and you even said so to Emma. That it had been something that little girls wanted, because not even Madison would want to be seen with something like that.

The tears from Taylor was a... surprise when Emma started to play the ring tone.

Still, you weren't sure why Emma had said that whenever Taylor wanted to do something, she would need to ask her, Madison or you first for permission. It did seem a tad excessive.

But that was fine, because it was Emma.
