• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Clicking on the user name in the upper right of the screen should take me to the accounts page, QQ/Account/. I am instead ending up with an error. Apparently, I lack permission to view that page or perform that action, on my own profile. I am trying to find the correct field to change my psuedonym, as I have just finished doing for SB, SV, and FF.net.

Does anyone have any clue why this is happening, and/or how to fix it?

Also, that "Virginity" thing has randomly appeared since the last time I remember logging in. Don't know where to get rid of it, either.

Thank you, mr. Moderator. Though I still cannot find a user name change item. Do I have to ask one of the mods to do that instead? Mitchelltrt is my standard business username, but I was hoping to change it to a proper pseudonym instead of literally my last name and initials.

The plan was to change my name to Jordisk.

I as well had this problem, and only now considered posting about it. While I appreciate the goal of bot identification, why tie it to controls over self account modification.

Seems this is a first post thread at this point. Kind of weird to limit stuff like this for lurkers.

You need to make an actual message on the board and have it approved. Profile posts don't count.

So try again now.
Profile posts do not count for the 1st post thing... it needs to be an actual thread post. Like what you just did.
Ah. So profile posts don't count, and there's a delay. (Still can't access, last I checked)

Edit: now I can. Maybe I just had to log out and log back in?
