I'd say we have an excellent shot, given the superiority of our team's weapons practically across the board combined with a distinct advantage in mobility (which, per the mechanics, factors into every aspect of combat). Stealth would have just turned an excellent chance into a sure thing.

I can live with just an excellent shot.

Edited my post to change my vote to fight. I've been thinking about it all day (pretty much since Bii confirmed that our sisters aren't damaged, just they have been in fights before), and we really do have a good chance at winning. The dice could always go against us, but then I expect we would have to roll to run away as well, so they are just as likely to go against us there. The main reason I was still thinking of going with running is my previously stated argument of not knowing why they are fighting, and running gets us answers.

Also worth noting that the subs can still jump away, jump around the system a little to confuse anyone tracking them, then sneak back to get stealth attacks on the carrier if needed. Don't think it is worth doing for the scouts, they can take them head on easy enough, but for the carrier it might be.
