Supes doesn't seem to be as bummed as I would have expected in the aftermath, so did he get to finish his fight with Darkseid or did things go down like in canon?

Kind of hard not to give someone the benefit of the doubt when they have (someone whom I believe to be) the Blue Boyscout vouching for them.
