Fandoms you'd like to see more fanfiction for?

i would love more Zero to Hero (or Villain) Stories. GoT or Warcraft where the MC doesnt start as any kind of Noble, for example, and has to Battle upwards against his station he was born in.

i also like Necromancer Stories alot so maybe more of those. why not combine it? a guy who joins the Cult of the Damned and joins Scholomance in a fcked up HP Hogwarts rendition. or maybe he "joins" as a Slave for students to experiment on, kills one of the students and takes his place and the Proffessors just go along with it bc they like the Balls and your Hunger for power. or a Disgruntled Peasant from GoT who works as an Undertaker, collects all the corpses from Nearby Villagers and manages the Graveyard but then discovers a Necromancy Book and builds himself a Dungeon/unleashes his Hordes upon Westeros after Nobles fcked him over.

You might try looking up SCP foundation fanfics (the largest number of them I've found are on light novel translation sites like wuxiabox), there's a couple SCP's- objects and beings that could have come out of horror movies that defy understanding and can't be destroyed, only contained- that sorta fit the bill, a cd that embeds itself into the nearest mirror transforming it into a portal to a world full of elderich beings and a VR headset that does much the same.

I would really like to see more evangelion fics that use cyoa, wc, or other insane gimmicks. Maybe some insert in the bad guys.

I love inserts in the bad guys in any fanfic setting.
 
The Stanley Parable. It's rife with crossover comedy potential, and I honestly feel throwing The Narrator into anything can make it better.
 
Halo and Helldivers. I've seen a sum total of 1 helldivers story, and the Halo ones on this site are not worth reading. There is an overabundance of Danmachi, Waifu Collection, and the likes. The only stories that are worth reading so far are by Brosef. Halo is already set up perfectly for a story, and there is naught but trash on QQ; Kinda Sad. Helldivers is the same.
 
I miss the star fox and sly cooper fanfiction boom that happened during my childhood.

TMNT would be cool too, though.
 
Egosoft's X Universe, Amplitude's Endless Space. Ideally with a non-railroaded first contact war. Something like it can happen, it just needs to be different and take advantage of the other setting.

There's a few but the one I read was too... painfully generic.

Personally, I'd go with a Xenon incursion into the Relay Network while both the Community of Planets and Citadel blindly send expeditions into one another's space until contact is achieved. Followed by a cold "we could do literally anything but there's a giant swarm of killer space robots in the way." Or any other plot which could exist from there being two multi-species power-blocks semi-connected to one another.

The Hub. So many fun fics could be made around just that small bit. If you are feeling artistic, something about the paranid religion dogma versus everyone else. If numbers go up tickle your fancy, trade empire from ground zero using the hub as a jump off point. If in a war mood, connect Kha'ak space to xenon space then to Blackhole Sun or Kingdoms End. Or just turn the Hub into X-verse version of Deep Space 9 or Babylon 5.
