Edit: Besides, I'm not going to check through a 50 pages + thread in the vain hope of someone (other than the ones that are in the thread mark) offering.

Some users put list with games available for giving away. You can see them if threadmarks and you can ask them for any game they have available. Look around. Maybe they will have something you'll like.

Between threadmarks and manually looking there is the search function, if limiting to this thread. That aside this is phrased as a "giveaway" thread and not a request thread, so taking extra effort to check is good manners since others are voluntarily giving them away for free.

Or basically, fail basic information conveying and people will react accordingly to whichever take is appropriate, which ends poorly when there's multiple possibilities.

And to be fair, very very poorly phrasing things can come off as requesting instead of actually failing to put in the effort to check. It's less an issue when people are checking if a copy has or hasn't been given away yet, especially when a new batch was put up and the thread being on literal fire.

Got the Metroidvania Mania bundle for Axiom Verge 2, which I hadn't realized was on Steam- last I remember it was an Epic exclusive, I think.

If you want both games and some more, go there.

If you just wanna try Axiom Verge- well, I already had that.

So who wants my extra?

Axiom Verge is (obviously) a Metroidvania with a Flesh and Psychological Horror theme. The puzzles are good, the platforming is cool, and the story is absolutely twisted.
 
Epic is giving away Dragon Age Inquisition. The Dragon Age games are all great, similar to the Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale series of games, but in their own original setting with their own system.
Although Bungie released the Marathon Trilogy as freeware a decade ago and Aleph One has also been freeware for even longer (also on Github), somebody decided to put it up on Steam and for some reason people are excited about getting a version with Steam's DRM.

and get the Aleph One program to run it on modern systems
