Yeah, I love charred meat. I just try to avoid it when I can because it's bad for my health.

Not that I'm not tempted, mind you.
You can char healthier meats like fish and poultry. If you do things like marinade it and turn frequently you can also lower the other unhealthy parts.
 
I've tried a new recipe this weekend, a fairly simple one, and in doing so, I also learned how to debone a chicken leg. So that's useful for future kitchen work. It was chicken legs in a bacon wrapping with a two-herbs marinade and carrot sticks simmered in butter and sugar. I'll post the recipe and instruction video for deboning later in the recipe thread, it's fairly good!
