We were referring to exalted sorcerers not dxd sorcerers.

Also, a sidereal's job is not to make sure the laws of reality are followed, it is to maintain creation.
If a sorcerer is somehow undermining the stability of reality then they would have beef with him, but if he is not then they would not. And generally speaking merely casting spells is not going to be breaking anything.

also, they are kinda hypocrites. They actually damaged the loom of fate, one of the more critical parts of reality by manipulating it on too grand a scale and since then they are all suffering from a backlash called "arcane fate" where everyone (except high level exalted) forgets their existence as reality itself writes them out of history and existence.

They have also decided that between a risky plan to save creation (kill corrupted solars and teach others about corruption and how to avoid it) and a "certain" way to save creation which is guaranteed to diminish it and damage it (kill all the solars, trap their exaltations, and let creation try to trudge along without its greatest defenders). they chose the latter.

And their predictions about the two plans was wrong, it didn't really save reality in the long term. as there were several issues they didn't expect and couldn't handle (such as the neverborn or the scale of fae incursions). And on top of that the solar exaltation imprisonment hugely backfired as hell and the neverborn managed to acquire half of them and corrupt them into abyssal and infernal exaltations
