  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

I'm kind of curious to know what is the healthiest place to be online for an hour or two a day. Like I can try to avoid the toxicity, and I do, but due to how our brains are structured we have a negativity bias in them. That makes most online spaces lustful, angry, toxic, disgusting or etc. Plus anonymity causes even more issues. Anyone know a good place to be online?

Idk, but Rants is probably the worst possible place to ask, surpassed only by /chan boards.

You'd prob be better off asking in the General Chat thread.

Fuwamoco Subreddit. They are the least toxic Vtuber subreddit on Reddit.

Jango or whatever streaming radio site you like; music can be relaxing enough.

Book sites in general- this, spacebattles, SV, FF net, tthfanfic org if you're into Buffy The Vampire Slayer, project gutenberg for free book books legally and so on. Of course this is if you're a reader, as a writer there's always going to be negative comments that can get hateful AF, if you can ignore them or don't get hurt by them great, writing's a good hobby, otherwise maybe post and ignore.

A healthy and non-toxic place on the internet? Well, for the beginning you have to exclude all resources that involve live communication with other people. Because with live communication there are only two possible options:
  • Place is not properly moderated. As a result, any communication on any topic sooner or later turns into a shitstorm.
  • Place is diligently moderated, but moderators are also people, and they also have their own opinions. Sooner or later, someone will use a banhammer to shut up a point of view that you support in favor of a point of view that you don't support. This will happen less often on some resources than on others, but it will still happen.
What remains? To listen music or read books online, carefully not looking at the comments to them.
