Dear Vicky,
I'm sorry. I want to say this, but I can't say it nearly enough.
I'm sorry for being too cowardly to stay around until you woke up. You're not in love with me any more, but I'm still kind of in love with you, and I didn't want to risk it again. Even though I'm in a better headspace these days. Plus, there's Dad and his projects. He's a villain, and I'm helping him, so I guess I'm kind of a villain too, now. It seems Carol was right after all.
I want to apologise for everything I've ever done wrong to you. All the times I screwed up when it came to you. Everything that ever led to that shit that I did to you.
I'm sorry for hating Dean because you loved him.
I'm sorry for being happy—even a little bit—when he died.
I'm sorry for not telling you how I feel about you.
I'm sorry for not standing up to Carol more.
I'm sorry for not leaving home when I should have.
I'm sorry for not fixing Mark's brain when Leviathan hurt him.
I'm sorry for running away from home when I did.
I'm sorry for not coming back with you and trying to fix things.
I'm sorry for making you love me.
I'm sorry for not explaining myself better.
I'm sorry for taking you away when you were hurt and keeping you to myself.
I'm sorry for doing what I did to you, and leaving you like that.
I'm sorry for putting myself in the Birdcage and leaving you for two years.
I'm sorry for chickening out for another five years after the war.
I'm sorry for leaving you now, but you know why. It's a shitty reason, though, so I'm still sorry about that.
I'm sorry for not being a better sister.
I'm sorry for not standing up to you and making you take more responsibility.
I'm sorry for being a villain after all, when all you ever wanted was for us to be heroes together.
I'm sorry for knocking you out like I did, and not giving you a chance to say goodbye.
For everything else I ever did, I'm sorry.
I will always love you.
Your really shitty adopted sister,
Amelia Claire Lavere
PS: I put your body through its paces before you woke up, so all your neural connections should be firing properly. You're welcome.
PPS: I fiddled with your powers a little, too. Dialled your aura back and ramped up your force field some. You should be able to push it out a little bit now, to include one other person. And it'll take more than one good hit to knock it down. Just don't go kicking dumpsters at anyone, mmkay?
PPPS: Mrs Yamada is amazing to talk to. I might come back sometime just to say hi to her. You know, maybe.
PPPPS: I left you the reference photos. Don't make me need them again.
PPPPPS: Okay, fine. I kept one. The one that Mark took of the two of us down on the Boardwalk that one time. The one where you nearly snorted ice cream out your nose from laughing so hard. I might or might not be keeping it next to my bed.
There's really only one thing to say about this.
Only insofar as it took to put Sophia back inside after she turned 18. She basically dug up all the dirt on Sophia that existed and handed it over. That was pretty awesome....how much of a hand did Lisa have in this?
It's worth noting that depending on how you do it, counting on your fingers might not be a sign of poor education. There's a way to do it that works like having a small abacus in the palm of your hand. Abacus users can often make calculations as fast or faster than someone using an electronic calculator.
It's not a coincidence that one gross is exactly 144 units.
But if it was easy, we'd be doing it that way. Just saying. It's worth noting that depending on how you do it, counting on your fingers might not be a sign of poor education. I was talking about calculating on your fingers.Any mechanical or electronic calculator is easier to learn to use, though not necessarily any faster. Doing it on paper is also easier to learn, and allows teachers to demand you show your work in class. But once you learn how to use an abacus, it's faster than paper & pencil, and just as effective as a calculator.
That depends what you're doing. I don't car how skilled you are - you aren't going to calculate 57685 * 112320 on an abacus as fast as I can do it on a calculator.Any mechanical or electronic calculator is easier to learn to use, though not necessarily any faster.
