I only just now considered that perhaps, at some point, I might even want to post around these parts and that it might be a good idea to get this out of the way.
 
Hello, I am a long-time lurker who has very rarely posted on *any* website for the span of my lifetime. For some reason, perhaps a fit of temporary insanity, I decided to maybe try actually interacting with people, and/or writing my own fiction. I look forward to interacting with you all assuming I can drag myself outside of my shell long enough to actually continue doing so via willpower and inertia.

On the note of why here in particular, I find that I quite like this site as it is similar to my previous favorite two forums, SB and SV, except with much lighter restrictions on what people are allowed to say and write. I personally find this quite liberating, and feel as though it helps with the process of creating interesting creative works even if you don't end up making use of the lighter restrictions to a significant degree.

I've been lurking around and occasionally liking posts, but I'm saying hi now after all this time. Mostly working up misc ideas before I launch into creative writing or questing, but might vote on some quests if the mood strikes me.
