Hm... I'll go for the full-functionality Mirrorshades, if that's okay. A bit of extra protection against hemophage mind dickery is probably a good idea. Maybe also note that it's got a connection to his smartphone so he can do some HUD sort of things with it.

I think armor only sort of stacks, with everything except the best half ed in effectiveness.

And it doesn't totally destroy the effect, but it does serverly hamper it.

The NWO has had success in producing BLACC (Benevolent Leader - Aggression Controlling - Commando ) uniforms, which provide different but similar in magnitude mind effects as the suits, and much better protection. (And cost an extra point, self-healing ceramic is expensive to make damn it. Even for the small and thin pieces used here. )

I.E. if you want something that isn't quite in the book, you can still get it, and I will eye ball things.
 
On unrelated note, with Gideon020 contribution, we got effective Requisition 18!

(Valencia 4 + Mieraine 3 + Annabelle 1 + Jared 1 + Marcus 3 = 12, plus bonus = 18)

I'll likely reduce my Requisition rating to add to Resources if we got too many unused points. As a Syndic, I feel poor for only having Resources 3 :\

Basically instead of getting people to like/be impressed by you, its about getting people to obey/be grateful/scared of you. To see you as an Benevolent Authority and be likely to either retreat or assist you.

Mechanically they still raise your Charisma by 2, but the range of social actions they give full -3 difficulty to is different, and they project a emotion of "the cavalry is here", instead of helping with reading surface emotions.

Which is better than hemophages, as explanations for the suspicious animal attacks go. Since someone under shapeshifter or human RD control is probably going to be more willing to help with taking out hemophages.

This certainly requires adjustments then. Less Slenderman, more Limbo from Warframe and the Doctor then. That just leaves pulling people into other dimensions and stabbing/burning them. Would Corr 3 Dsci 3 be enough spheres for this?

From what I understand, the highest on that part of the body is rolled, but the outer-most armor takes any damage first up to its soak rating from agg (because armor takes damage from agg, generally).

So there's a benefit to wearing a 3B reinforced leather duster over top of a 4L/A ballistic plate insert, even if you're only rolling the 4, because if someone throws a fireball at you or stabs you with a prime 2 reinforced knife, the outer layer of armor will degrade first.

Body location also matters- someone might penetrate your duster with a reinforced knife, but that only causes that area to fail- the rest of it still might be serviceable. The ST can improve immersion through this, by letting enemies make called shots to the weak spots (I think it's a -3 to -4 on the roll for a called shot) to exploit the damage/missing armor.

So one of my best mates forgot to tell me their birthday party was today, and if I hadn't known them since we were 13 I would be blowing them off.

But I have, and best mates birthdays only happen a few times a year.

So I might be up to an hour or two late. Might even be on time if I learn to teleport.
