• An addendum to Rule 3 regarding fan-translated works of things such as Web Novels has been made. Please see here for details.
  • We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
  • QuestionableQuesting has new Moderator positions. To submit your application, please see this thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Me: [Sees this notification] Ain't nobody got time for dat!😒

Realistic jokes aside, good luck to the new Mods!😘

"Instructions unclear, sacred rights not observed… purge the heretic, purge the heretic" … 🤣 though honestly you wouldn't be the lowest post count we got 🤔 … not that post count is a deciding factor exactly but one's posts are one method by which we view their history.

It's not the length of the post count that matters, it's how you use it. 17 is respectable!

Also, why do you assume there would not be consequences from the rest if someone started to shit things up as a mod?
Consequences never mattered anywhere else, real or hypothetical. Wherever they got mod powers, their sort got their way. AH, SV, SB, everywhere. Porn isn't some magical shield against that track record.

And I disagree that this should be hidden in the rants thread. I consider this a most critical issue to the topic of new mods.

No it isn't, as it assume we totally failed to judge whoever is applying and would let them keep going without a word anyway in that scenario.

So, keep your ranting at SB in the rants thread.

At the very least, don't make it about SB and their mods in particular. Not wanting a certain type of person to gain power here is relevant enough, but that's not what you said. You made it about SB's mods in particular, which is a group of people not a type of person, and makes it a hard derail. It means nothing to anybody who isn't familiar with the vendetta that you're clearly pursuing, or why you might have a vendetta to pursue, and just makes it about the vendetta itself. And explaining things so that it would mean something to them, would only be derailing even harder.

If you want to talk shit about SB's mods, do it in the SB Rants thread. It's not what this thread is for, and it's what you're really doing.

Rule 5: When a moderator tells you to stop, you stop.
I'm speaking not about this specifically, just the way you guys do things here.

The problem with issues like this is that it needs to be heard sometimes. When its in, say, sb rant thread it will only stay known to people who're already aware of it in the first place.
Other people wont care to open an sb rant thread because when they see there's one.. they wont ever open it because its not their problem. Why would they open it?

While if its out in the open, people stumble into it & they read what other people said about it, and they sympathize with it.

This is my opinion only, though. Keep doing what you're doing if you thing its best cause I've yet have a problem with how qq is run. At least not big ones.
