Moderator Applications - 2025 Edition

I only recognize one of the names, which is probably a good thing. A moderator, like basically any other form of servant, should generally be unobtrusive and unnoticed except when they're needed.
 
I didn't see the horizontal rule between the post that announced who got selected and the announcer's signature, so I read it like -- "Blah blah, these users are now mods, also, you cannot comprehend the amount of violence it took to become this peaceful." -- and was left wondering what level of hell the process was like.
 
So, have they picked their mod colours yet or will they played it by the ears?

We get payment in the form of headaches, complaints, and occasionally opportunities to laugh at poorly-executed gaslighting attempts.

I would say we get paid in hate mail too, but I genuinely haven't seen much of that. Shadowclonier must be supremely unlucky on that front.
