CASE being lost never made sense to me. Or at least the equivalent of the partial CASE we see in HBS

Well at this point a major beefing up of the planetary garrison will almost certainly be happening as will putting a lot more counter intel people therePlease add more spaces. At least between paragraphs that is almost wall of text.
Yeah if Hanse people see that he is going to flip. If this is what they can do with shit what can they do if he properly funds them?
Maybe if they can spare the forces and it does not make a delicate situation worse. They might try to hide it at first. Brockton is apparently pretty far out there closer to the bulls than New Avalon. Give funds to help them build faster is a good probability though. And more intel people not just protecting but also trying to figure out how a supposedly ruined world did this?Well at this point a major beefing up of the planetary garrison will almost certainly be happening as will putting a lot more counter intel people there
true but its not like anyone in the current board or company made that decision. or hell even knows it was made.Probably will be a criminal trial because they totally looted stuff they had no right to then profited off it. License agreements mean a lot and they totally violated some and will have to pay. Though how is to be decided and if the first prince think it worth it.
That matters not one single bit. The company did a naughty and if they fail to pull enough leverage, political or economic, then they will be forced to pay.true but its not like anyone in the current board or company made that decision. or hell even knows it was made.

Tooling is unlikely to get moved due to causing disruptions in production buy the ownership of said lines might change/the Duke of Brockton gets a decent chunk of the companies total stock. Licenses and being required to providevtechnical aid in expanding Brockton's industry is possibly if not likelyCorean may or may not be forced to hand over tooling. Perhaps also licenses and plans for mechs they also have. Hanse would probably love a new site producing centurions for example.
The stuff they need the most help with would be upgrading their chip foundries and make the bulk of their mech production non primitive variantsThing is Brockton makes tooling so if they get specs and licenses they could start low production of stuff. Hanse would consider them invaluable if they can make tooling for repairs and expansion work. And apparently they did it once already.
We sure they can't build one? Remember Thomas was a foreign head of state who they could not sell a milspec foundry to, and the Bricktonites seem to love having people underestimate their techbade. The stuff they need the most help with would be upgrading their chip foundries and make the bulk of their mech production non primitive variants
Alas the big problem is that objectively speaking the First Prince and federal government can only do so much for the outback when it's fighting the succession wars and moreover the limits on what the federal Government can do without the planetary government/nobles cooperating since the Federated Suns is indeed a federation with limits on federal powersHonestly we still have no idea how much of a shell game the Brocktonites are playing. They are being smart though. Scientists, engineers and facilities for both have a bad habit of getting blown up and they have been looted before by the state, or at least think it was the state signing off. Honestly they might be half way out the door and only not gone because they are not in a position to tell their first prince to suck it... yet.
That would be a interesting scenario of one day Hanse wakes up to find most of the out back is succeeding declaring a new government by and for them and not a distant Avalon that only seems to notice them when it is tax time.
If I read the situation right they can build jumpships as well. Even if its a old design its still docking collars. Single digits for worlds in known space that can do what this world can. There's at most maybe 30 Worlds that can do that are known to a Successor Lord. So yeah pushing that industry to grow and keeping it safe will be on Hanse's to do list
From what I can tell they helped another company buy out Challenge Shipbuilding over Panpour and said company then got one of the old slips or two that got knocked offline in the 1st SW back online if only making liberty class JumpshipsIf I read the situation right they can build jumpships as well. Huh I wonder how that happened. The Gladiator tooling got shipped to a TH world in otl when the combine dropped it. Then it failed to sell so the company retooled to industrial mechs and the place got nuked in either the 1st SW or ACW. And post being TH it's a FWL world to bootUnfortunately for Brockton the Gladiator has become one of the quintessential Lyran mechs, at least in its primitive form, and arguing with Lyran corpos is a losing proposition. If they're Lawyers don't get you the army of mercs they just hired will.
I believed that the Griffin took it role as the medium fire support mech. Also the Gladiator is more of a brawler and has different role to the Dervish.Sort of surprised the lyrans went for the Gladiator and not the native 55 ton design out of production in lyran space in this era the dervish
