I imagine if Shirogane had been a real racing mare, when she retired there'd be a lot of interest in pairing her with the Sunday Silence line, such as Fuji Kiseki, to see if they could get a mix of speedy horse and small, durable horse. There'd probably also be hope that her even temperament would balance out the eccentricities that came down the Stay Gold line too.

Shirogane really needs to work on her running persona,I would expect that a school like hers would work on giving them interesting looks and ever teach them how to act based on their looks and personality not just teach them how to dance and sing, to me it would be similar to a Keyfabe, get one that for for them an teach them to stick with it.

She's small, pretty looking and foreign looking so something like Rozen Maiden might work for her even is she hates it.

Though there's the funny idea for the story of how a Polish warhorse ends up racing: there's a farm that is low on funds that find a random filly in the wild but still takes her in. Then finds out she is incredibly smart and is easily trainable.

The thing that would really make them terrifying is how smart they would be. Sunday Silence's line is already very cunning, even mixed with Shirogane you'd probably get a horse that can unlock doors and do basic math. Maybe even operate a pay phone lol.

Then someone did an investigation on Shirogane Orzel's bloodline and found out that she came from a prominent line of Polish Warhorses and that even if the offshoot of that bloodline moved to Japan, they still retained some of traits as warhorses. Then, Shirogane Orzel was born and when they realized how the horse was quite easier to train and is incredibly intelligent, they decided to see if they can make her into a racehorse.

And it worked so well that she would end up a Spring Senior Triple Crown winner and ran in several graded races without any sign of exhaustion, injuries, or exertion.

Everyone will be surprised at how this horse with a lineage that has nothing to do with racing but more on being bred for wars in Europe and is a small mare managed to carve herself a legacy within one of the most stacked generations in the history.

I would like to point out that Gold Ship was, and still is fully capable of running around after retirement, which real horse Shirogane should be able to do as well, out of sheer durabiliness. I can imagine them both doing mock races together for fun once in a while.

Ouch, hope that's not permanant. Shiro's setting a high Pace meant for Graded races on Wet Condition, these Debut Umas have little hope. Though it's pretty brutal to have exerted yourself to injury. For a lot of Umas whose career got cut short by their glass legs, Shiro would be target to a lot of envy.

Yeah, it's the one where she'll have the best shot, but there's no shortage of competition, given Special Week and Seiun Sky are no slouch at longer races.

Shiro's weird, but her primary place is actually in a team race.

She's a pace chaser with some nasty red skills. She marks a favorite and then just completely fucks them up. Probably with some splash damage too.

Yeah she's a great teammate for a Late Surger/End Closer or Runaway runner, because both those kinds of runners would be away from the pack and thus avoid the pressure she can exert while tiring out the competition. It also helps that Shirogane isn't too bothered playing second fiddle, and has enough stamina that playing suicide horse doesn't actually take her out of the running.

Although there would probably be worries and screening for her abysmal top speed being passed down.

They are not Graded, they're in a category called 'maiden race' which is for horses that have never won a race before.

It would depend heavily on how the owner of the horse goes about signing off the image rights. In all likelihood they would want a positive representation of their racer, so NegaUmaShiro would probably be some combination of Air Groove and Air Shakur in being more of a loner, but very responsible and intelligent.

Considering the difficulty in racing shown by Steady Distance, would it instead just be graded races? Like Steady hasn't raced any G1 races, so does that mean that she has only run in her tracksuit?

Funny that the 2 horses cursed by God unite their genes to break up the curse of their existence. One with a body that can't contain their increased speed and the other who cant speed as it would like no matter how long it run.

I just learned an interesting tidbit: due to the Japanese Derby being so late in the day, it's the 12th race in the day, they move the inner rail outwards 1 meter at the start of the day. They then move the rail back in, so there is a 1-meter-wide strip of pristine turf right against the rail. If Shiro gets extremely lucky during the gate draw, she might be able to win the Derby.

Yes, but not always. There's an option to have your trainee wear her signature outfit in graded races only, which a lot of people (including me) prefer. But it's an option, not a requirement.
