Hohenzollern Castle (German: Burg Hohenzollern) is the ancestral seat of the imperial House of Hohenzollern. The third of three hilltop castles built on the site, it is located atop Mount Hohenzollern, above and south of Hechingen, on the edge of the Swabian Jura of central Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The first castle on the mountain was constructed in the early 11th century. Over the years the House of Hohenzollern split several times, but the castle remained in the Swabian branch, the dynastic seniors of the Franconian-Brandenburgian cadet branch that later acquired its own imperial throne. This castle was completely destroyed in 1423 after a ten-month siege by the free imperial cities of Swabia.
The second castle, a larger and sturdier structure, was constructed from 1454 to 1461, and served as a refuge for the Catholic Swabian Hohenzollerns, including during the Thirty Years' War. By the end of the 18th century it was thought to have lost its strategic importance and gradually fell into disrepair, leading to the demolition of several dilapidated buildings.
The third, and current, castle was built between 1846 and 1867 as a family memorial by Hohenzollern scion King Frederick William IV of Prussia. Architect Friedrich August Stüler based his design on English Gothic Revival architecture and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. No member of the Hohenzollern family was in permanent or regular residence when it was completed, and none of the three German Emperors of the late 19th and early 20th century German Empire ever occupied the castle; in 1945 it briefly became the home of the former Crown Prince Wilhelm of Germany, son of the last Hohenzollern monarch, Kaiser Wilhelm II.
Among the historical artifacts of Prussian history contained in the castle are the Crown of Wilhelm II, some of the personal effects of King Frederick the Great, and a letter from US President George Washington thanking Hohenzollern relative Baron von Steuben for his service in the American Revolutionary War.
And is the current resident of Sovereign, a blood member of the Hohenzollern family.

The castle is now fully staffed and has German soldiers on guard duty around the clock. After the attack from the Blasphemies, the protection around Sovereign has doubled. With how important Sovereign is, the countries of Europe aren't taking any chances and now she has armed soldiers helping to protect her, along with her shipgirls.
Currently Sovereign is standing in the courtyard of the castle speaking with 3 more new shipgirls of the Iron Blood fleet.
"Iron Blood light cruiser, Regensburg. While I have no particular history to speak of, I'll prove that I'm not so easily controlled by you. Regina, let's show our inferiors what we're made of!" said shipgirl said standing with her sister ship Magdeburg.
Regensburg most striking features is that she has large black and red horns on her head, two large dragon wings on her back and a long barbed tail. She is also dressed in a skimpy S&M black leather outfit that she wears a body stocking underneath. Her rig is that of a giant dragon with a long snake like body, with two large wings and arms.
"Feast your eyes. You're looking at none other than Type 1937J destroyer Otto von Alvensleben! Well, what do you think? Why are you being so silent? This is the part where you're supposed to heap praise upon me!" said shipgirl said.
She is also dressed in a skimpy S&M black leather bikini that has lots of straps on it. Her rig is two shark like beasts, the smaller on she's using to ride on and the larger one has most of the weapons. Which they hovers over the ground like all the shipgirls when they use their rigs can do.

"Refitted aircraft carrier Gneisenau—Sorry, that's a little inside joke. I'm Jade, an aircraft carrier. While I may not be able to pull off any major feats myself, I promise I will obey you♪ Leave it all to me, princess," said shipgirl said as she stood with her sister ship, Elbe.
Jade outfit is more modest compared to the first two, a short black dress with a viewing window to show off her small but well formed breasts. Her rig is that of a giant shark the side of a large van that she rides on. The top of the shark is like the top of an aircraft carrier.
"Contact Hipper and she can assigned you all to your duties. Elbe and Magdeburg can show you 3 around and get you all updated," Sovereign said leaving the matter of where the shipgirls and what their duties are, to the ones who know what they're doing. She has studied history and learned from the past mistakes of people trying to take command over experienced military leaders. She only steps in when she wants something done. Other than that she leaves command to her flagships.
Sovereign left as she's expecting guests to arrive later in the evening. Members of her extended family would be coming to the castle to meet with her from the German line. Not to mention she has to read through the reports of the repairs and refits the remaining shipgirls who are still being repaired. Months later and her girls are still being rebuilt, which she pointed out in an interview of how long it takes to repair and refit a warship. How the republicans who kept on blocking and stalling the bill for the funds her fleet needed to be able to be repaired, they would had just kept on blocking it till the next endbringer would attack and expecting that her girls fail in killing the next one. Her girls need to be fully repaired and rearmed for them to be able to pull that trick off again. Which is why she left and the republicans who block the bill have changed their tunes as she publicly named each one of them as being the reason why she left.
"What is it, Kirishima?" Sovereign ask looking at her left as the ninja Sakura Empire shipgirl appeared. (1)
"We were watching the news and the republicans who kept on stalling the repair bill, are now pushing a new bill to recognize the House of Norton as the official royal family of the Untied States," Kirishima said.
"Still trying to get me to return after what they pulled. I'm not returning unless it's a endbringer or something happens to dad. They made their bed and that empty gesture of good will, is meaningless. If they can provide a fully operational Navy base for all of you and not connected to the US navy and always have the funding and resources we need, that be something," Sovereign said.

In a military complex a group of military top brass are listening to the latest recording from the spy bot. Sovereign being so important and being the one who lead to one of the endbringers being killed, also has tons of spies watching her. When she uses the bathroom, you better believe there's a file in triplicate, filed away somewhere.
"Her own military base with all the funding and resources for the shipgirls needs," one woman said.
"Those politicians really screwed things up," a man said.
"The best thing they could come up with is making the Norton House into the royal family of the United States official," another woman said shaking her head.
"I still can't believe it counts Norton being Emperor just because it says so on his tombstone," a man said.
"Seeing how if her shipgirls can kill the remaining 2 endbringers, will make her into a world power by sheer military might. Having her on our side might outweigh the cost," a man said.
"The bill with the billions needed to fully repair all the shipgirls is just sitting there and with all the resources that's been shipped to Norfolk Naval Shipyard," a man pointed out.
"We're not that desperate… yet. We do have our own shipgirls," a man said bringing up a screen that shows tanks with the still growing shipgirls, grown from the pieces of the shipgirls recovered. (2)

"Yes but can we control them? The only reason the shipgirls will listen to anyone else is because Sovereign told them to. Not to mention what will happen once they learn about the cloning. The shipgirls just knew the ones responsible for the attack on Sovereign and hunted them all down," a woman said reminding everyone what happen to the Russian officials who ordered the attack on Sovereign.
"As long as we don't mistreat them, we should be fine. Besides we're not the only ones making their own shipgirls," a man reminded everyone.
