Chapter 91 New
The sound of the air being shredded rang out as the spear was accelerated further at almost blurring speeds.

*Shclk*

The resistance of the gelatine like substance of the humanoid slime appeared, for only but a slight moment in time, before it was completely bypassed by the sheer kinetic energy that the spear carried, as it tore into its left torso and directly pierced through the dark glass core of the slime.

*Shatter*

With a glass shattering sound, the spear continued forawrds and hit the wall behind the slime, with another sound ringing out, this time the sound of metal bending until it could no further before shattering apart.

Looking down at the monster that had stood before him and had now turned into nothing more but slime remnants and liquid onto the ground that were slowly but surely disintegrating into white motes of light. Alan felt his heart rate slowly start to stabilse once more.

Taking a few slow steps until he was standing before what remained of his enemy, he took a deep calming breath, closing his eyes behind the night vision goggles for a moment before reopening them. In those brief close eyed moments, the scenery around him had changed to his apartment, to the fight, to the three dead bodies that wouldn't leave his mind alone.

'Damned…' Alan thought to himself and in a split second later, a notification like bell sound rang inside his mind, the system notifying him of his successful kill of the monster.

[ Ding! ]

[ User has defeated a Cardinal Pink Slime. ]

[ User has gained 1000 Experience Points. ]

..

'Alright… let's let's just continue, I have to be more careful from now on. I have enough mana to shoot around four of those wind gusts before I run out, that means I can defeat around four of these things in a row if all the conditions are perfect, ofcourse, that's just an optimistic thought, in actual battle, I won't always have the perfect distance or shot directly to its core. I should atleast lower it to one third, one in every three uses of the wind gusts would equal one kill.' Alan thought as he walked and grabbed the combat spear that he had previously discarded onto the ground and hoisted it up with one arm.

Turning his gaze towards the broken fragments of his other combat spear, he quickly noticed how it was similarly to the monster getting disintegrated into white motes of light.

'I see… so if it breaks, it's just gone. I don't get to use its materials for anything else…. That's a bit annoying, I could have used the steel fragments or pieces of the wood to create something out of them… but I guess it is.. What it is.' Alan thought before releasing another sigh and starting to walk down the dark alley once more, heading towards his next opponent, towards the next battle, his mind already having calmed down. His heartrate finally back to normal and his palms firmly gripping the combat spear.

The hardest fight of the alley was now over, the first one was always the hardest, it was the fight where he had the least amount of information and knew nothing about his opponent, each fight after the first would only get easier and easier, both as he leveled up and as he learned how to counter the specific slimes moves more and more.

'Though… predicting this one will be harder, they posses actual intelligence in comparison to the other slimes that only used their given skills in the most basic ways possible.' He thought, shaking his head slightly as his figure disappeared into the darkness.

Meanwhile, on the outside world, on the complete other direction of the Cullen Mansion, deep inside the forest, stood a reservation.

The quileute Tribe reservation.

It was a native tribe that had stood and withstood the ages for centuries, they had been here before the town of Forks had even been created, before any other being had come to live in these rainy forests.

The reservation was large and at its edges was in parts surrounded by a barbed fence, however in many spots, the fence had deteriorated to the point that it was nothing more than rusted metal at this point.

There were a dozen houses at the center of the reservation, most of them made out of wood and materials that were found around in the woods, tech hadn't managed to quite get into and change the area much. The number of cars in the entire reservation even now wasn't large, barely a few of the reservation members had a car, and even the ones that did have one didn't use it as often as any other person would have.

They worked jobs in forks, some of them atleast, whilst some others merely farmed and cultivated their own crops and raised their own livestock so that they could maintain their lives, merely selling the amount they didn't need so that they could get the other daily amenities that they couldn't create by themselves like clothes, soap and the like.

Inside one of the largest houses in this reservation, two people were currently talking, the first was a man of small stature that was sitting in a wheelchair whilst the other was an equally aged man sitting on the couch infront of him.

"Have you heard about the disappearance of those kids?" The old man on the couch asked as he leaned back slightly, a smoke pipe in his mouth as he took a long deep puff of grinded tobacco.

Chapter 92 New
"I have, you think 'they' broke the treaty? I don't believe 'they' would do it." Billy Black, the man on the wheel chair replied as he was holding a glass of water in his hand, taking a slow sip before placing it back onto a table.

"You're right, I also don't think that they did it. And from what I heard, they were kids messing with drugs, could just be that they overdosed somewhere or left the city." The other man replied as he took out his pipe and placed it on the table.

"It's likely… but we can't be too on guard with 'them' still being around. Have to raise them border patrols for a few weeks atleast. Just in case." Billy replied as he shook his head, a tired exhausted sigh escaping his lips, his voice turning more gravelly from exhaustion as he turned his head to face the window on his right.

"I just hope that everything goes well. The new generation… they still aren't ready, but I guess… they have to be. Jacob has started showing signs of awakening aswell recently. It's likely because of the close proximity to them." Billy muttered, his exhaustion clearly showing, as his eyes seemed to not be seeing what was infront of him for a moment, instead replaying a moment from a time long past.

"That's good, means the boy can protect himself and those around him." The other old man replied, in a way trying to reassure Billy, that this wasn't a bad thing, it was to them afterall, merely natural, an honour even.

"I know… but as you know… Sam and the others, there's been a lot going on these days, I miss the days where we had nothing more to worry but the baseball games." Billy muttered as he turned to face the other man once more.

"Speaking of, heard your friends daughter came back. How's Charlie feelin about it? He happy?" The other man said as he tried to lighten up the conversation once more.

At the mention of Charlie Swan, Billie's expression changed almost instantly to a more light hearted one as his eyes seemed to light up, he released a low chuckle as he shook his head for a moment.

"He doin good. Sold him my old truck to give to her as a gift, and the girl seemed to really like it too. He's been talking about her coming over for months, and when she finally did, he looked as awkward as ever, can't even talk to his own kid, he certainly hasn't changed much. But it shows, the care… he's a good man as always." Billy replied as his lips slowly formed a smile at the memory of the day he had handed the old orange truck over and the sight of the hidden joy in Charlies eyes at seeing his little girl actually happy about a gift that he had given her.

It was at that moment that another presence arrived inside the house as the front door was practically slammed open.

"Dad, heard Bella got almost hit by a van today. She survived thankfully."

A voice said, it was a young man with dark brown hair and tanned skin, he seemed slightly higher than average in height and his body overall semeed to be atleast vaguely fit, not muscly yet but it gave a sight that looked like the man had atleast been training for a few months.

This was Jacob Black, son of Billy Black and childhood friend of Bella Swan.

Billy's and the other man's eyes widened as they turned to face Jacob.

"She almost got hit by a van? What happened? She's okay? That's that's good but tell me everything, your basically skipping to the end son." Billy said as his voice shook slightly at the start before Jacobs words about Bella being fine registered and he slowly calmed down.

Jacob nodded as he walked and sat down next to the other old man, who was an elder of the Quileute Tribe.

Finally after settling down on the couch, Jacob started speaking once more.

"Yeah, from what I heard from other people, she was outside at the parking lot before Forks High and this kid who was driving lost control of his van in the snow and the car swerved but before it could hit Bella, Edward Cullen saved her." Jacob replied, his voice losing its excitement slightly as he arrived at the end of his sentence, Edward Cullen wasn't particularly one of his favourite people on the planet. Infact, if Jacob had to be honest with himself, he was most probably one of the most hated people in his mind.

'That damned… bastard.' Jacob thought inside his mind, as his teenage mind already started forming images of Bella and the bastard together before he shook his head as quickly as he could and focused back on the conversation at hand.

Unlike Jacob who only had a slight cold expression at the mention of Edward, Billy Black and the other elder had a much worse reaction, their faces souring almost instantly.

"The Cullen boy… that… that is good I suppose… but if he exposed himself… that would be quite the offence." Billy muttered to himself as he looked out the window once more at the falling sun, his expression showing clearly that he had once more retreated deeply inside his thoughts at this new piece of information.

Chapter 93 New
Meanwhile as that very same conversation was happening inside the Quileute reservation, another conversation was occuring in the complete opposite direction of the town, inside a location that was just as deep inside the forests as the reservation itself.

But in comparison to the reservations naturally built houses, this place was a mansion.

It was the Cullen Coven household mansion.

Inside of which, the entire Cullen Coven had gathered together, all the members either already sat on the couches in the living room or standing around.

Edward Cullen had just returned from the hospital where he and Bella Swan had been sent, during the entire drive back home, Rosalie Hale had been staring daggers at him and she finally couldn't hold back once they had sat down in the living room.

"Do you even understand what you've done? Do you have even an smudge of thought in that brain of yours?" She asked, her voice carrying rage that before might have been unjustified, before it might have just been the fear speaking, the fear for the humans, the horror at what she herself was, but this time it was different.

Edward din't reply, not vocally atleast as he simply nodded his head, his gaze lowered to the ground, thoughts running through his mind however he voice none of them as he remained unnaturally still.

"Why are you not talking? You've put all of us in danger and for what? Because you decided to somehow become obsessed with a human? A human girl? Is she worth our heads Edward? IS SHE?" Rosalie spoke once more, her tone rising until she was practically almost screaming as she walked closer to him, her hands that had been limp at her sides slowly curling and uncurling into what resembled clawing motions.

It was at that moment that Esme Cullen, the so called step mother of the entier family walked and stood inbetween the two of them.

"Calm down Rosie… I'm sure, Edward… he did the right thing, he saved a life." Esme said softly, her expression gentle as she tried to calm down the people that she genuinely considered as her own children.

"Calm down? Why doesn't he explain exactly what he did. He ran, infront of the entire student body, to save a human girl." Rosalie replied, the words practically being spat out in distaste.

Around the room, the rest of the Cullens didn't interviene.

Jasper Hale wasn't the type who would intervene in matters like this, Emmet Cullen felt like backing up Rosalie and Carlisle was simply listening for the moment, similarly deep in thought just like Edward seemed to be.

And lastly, Alice, Alice hadn't said a thing since the entire incident had occured, not to any of them atleast, her face was blank.

'I can't really… tell him that he shouldn't have done it considering the fact that I… I would have done the same thing if Bella had been replaced by Alan.' Alice thought to herself, as he turned her gaze away from her brother.

"I… I am not going to apologise for saving someones life." Edward finally spoke as he lifted his head, his pupils had slowly darkened, turning from the colour that resembled amber or gold, into something that resembled more of a dark brownish mud and it was quickly darkening further and further.

"You're not going to apologise for saving a life? Do tell me Edward, are you going to apologise when the Volturi find out and It's mine, or Esme's or everyone elses head in this family? Tell me." Rosalie replied, as she took another step, her arms were practically vibrating by this point, itching to claw their way into his body. His words had done nothing more than make the situation worse than it had been.

"I… I realise that, but even then… I would do it again. And… no one else noticed, the situation wasn't wasn't that bad." Edward replied as he shook his head and slowly stood up from his seated position on the living room couch.

"That's funny. Didn't Bella Swan ask to talk to you alone? We heard." Emmet speaks up for the first time as he released a deep low chuckle whilst shaking his head in amusement at Edwards words.

"She's… she doesn't know anything yet, even if she does, who would believe her, they'd just tell her that she was in shock and her mind hallucinated it. Carlisle could even further help cover this up by telling her that it was indeed something that could occur and it's a known medical phenomenon." Edward replied almost instantly as he turned his gaze towards his much larger brother who was standing by the wall next to the door.

"Right… so you're planning to tell her that what she saw was wrong and that she just hallucinated it and went kinda mentally insane for a moment because of the car crash shock. Right, and didn't you also spy on her whilst she slept? Really… selling the creepy vampire vibes Edward." Alice interjected, her voice clearly showing her amusement as Alan's words about Edward being weird returned to her mind for a moment.

Edward turned towards her and if a glare could kill, Alice would have been already six feet deep, over a dozen times over.

Alice simply raised her hands in surrender as she chuckled and took a step back.

Chapter 94 New
"Alright… let's just calm down for a moment. Edward is right, it isn't the end of the world and he wasn't wrong in wanting to save someones life. I'll help deal with the coverup and incase she asks anything more, you can just tell her to come to the hospital for another check up. At that point, I'll do as you said and tell her it was just her mind playing games on her. But you have to be more careful next time Edward." Carlisle Cullen finally spoke as he got out of the deep thoughts that he had been in. His golden amber eyes meeting Edward's darkening ones as he stood up and walked towards the boy that he treated as his very own son.

"Carlisle… thank you." Edward replied simply, his voice lowering slightly in both gratitude and respect towards the older man who had always treated him so well and tried his best to help him under any circumstances that he found himself in.

"With that, we should go hunting tonight, Alice and Edward especially have been… rather unstable as of late, I need you two atleast to always be highly fed just so the chances of any accidents happening are as low as possible. Jasper, you can follow them tonight aswell since It's been a while since your last feeding hunt." Carlisle said as he motioned with his head to the three of them.

Jasper Hale nodded his head as he slowly got up from his seated position and walked to stand inbetween Alice and Edward who had both already given their agreement to the suggestion with a nod.

'He's right, especially with Alan around, the slightest thing he does is making me emotional in ways that I have never been before in. If he got accidentally wounded, or I saw his blood… that could be very very bad if I wasn't satiated enough.' Alice thought to herself as she turned to walk out of the Cullen Coven Mansion.

Edward following behind her, he had agreed almost instantly, even now, he could feel the thirst, the undying thirst for blood that every vampire experienced, especially the ones like the Cullens who were voluntary vegetarians in a way. They only fed on Animal blood, however that in and of itself had side effects.

One of the visual ones was the fact that theyr eye colour wasn't the usual vampiric red bur rather a golden amber like colour that Alan had noticed so many times before.

The big side effect however wasn't a simply change in visual eye colour, it was the fact that none of them could ever truly be satiated by Animal blood.

They would be able to curb their animalistic rage for it, and they would be able to survive off of Animal blood, however the thirst for blood, that feeling as if your throat was on fire, that would never truly be gotten rid of by simply drinking Animal blood.

The only way to get rid of that disgusting feeling in the back of their throats was by consuming human blood, something that all of them had sworn themselves off of.

As the group of three vampires walked to the front door, at one moment they were walking normally, just like any other human and then in the very next second, their figures blurred as they reached supernatural speeds in an instant, running towards the forests outside in the search of prey that they could drain.

That prey usually consisted of Deer, mountain lions, bears and the like. Each of them had their own favourites, an example would be Emmet Cullen who almost always preferred to drink blood out of bears or how Edward Cullen had a taste for mountain lions.

'Still… I can't wait to see Alan again tomorrow. I wonder what he's doing?' Alice thought to herself as she dodged the tens of trees in her path, even whilst she ran at supernatural speeds, her reflexes and reaction time were similarly supernatural, she had complete control over her direction, speed and mobility.

To her, running at this blurring speed was the same as for other humans running at human speeds, if not easier, the chances of her not being able to react to something were practically nill whilst the chances of Humans being unable to react to something in time whilst they were running were much much higher.

"Still thinking about that kid? He's… strange, doens't exactly feel normal." Edward muttered as he followed behind her, running just as fast as Alice Cullen, infact he was running at her speed and he was doing it even more easily than she was. Edward was known as one of the fastest vampires around. Each vampire had their gifts and their special traits, Edward was known for his thought reading, telepathic ability aswell as for his trait being speed. Alice Cullen was known for the future sight and her trait which was greater reflexes and dexterity.

Jasper who was following behind them had the gift of empathy and emotional control, aswell as the trait that increased his ability to read into peoples movements, a trait that was almost completely related to combat, something that was closely tied to his past and the way that he had been transformed into a vampire and what he had been used for after his transformation into one.

"Yeah… just like you're thinking about her. Atleast I'm not as creepy about it." Alice muttered as she ran.

"You do know that I know about you spying on him whilst he slept last week right?" Edward muttered as he ran after her, his face showing a complicated emotion.

The three of them finally increased their speed even further as they disappeared deeper inside the forest, having already caught the scent of their prey waiting unknowingly for them.

Chapter 95 New
Hours passed, the date changing as it became tomorrow, the sun rising slowly over the horizon though it remained utterly hidden from eyesight by the large heavy clouds that were almost always present in the town of Forks.

It was at that moment that a body appeared inside one of the apartments in Forks.

It was Alan, he had spent the entire night inside of the dungeon, having fought for hours on end until he had finally decided that it was enough. This wasn't the first time that he had reappeared inside his room during the night, he had done it multiple times, there was no real way to check the time inside of the dungeon and so he had to leave and rejoin just to check what the time outside was. He didn't want another incident with him having missed multiple days though that time hadn't exactly been because of his own volition.

Taking a deep breath, Alan released a sigh slowly as his breath started to calm down, he had just finished another fight inside of his dungeon, the last one that he had done for the night, having pushed himself as hard as he could in order to level up as fast as he could however the experience gain wasn't anywhere near as fast as it had previously been.

'Still… Level thirty seven, it's not bad, not bad at all for now. Just thirteen more levels for me to reach the next dungeon, which I'm guessing is going to be the next threshold.' Alan thought to himself as he took a deep breath and took off his clothes that had already turned almost completely sweaty in mere seconds since he had returned from the dungeon.

Looking down at them, he felt a slight amount of irritation.

'I should have changed out into my underwear before going inside the dungeon, the fact that I can't choose what clothes I want to wear after I'm done with the dungeon and just straight up teleport into what I had is both a sort of blessing aswell as an annoyance once your not in any actual danger.' Alan thought as he slowly took off his clothes before heading inside his bathroom to take a shower.

Finishing his daily morning routine of showering, brushing his teeth and eating a few protein nutrition bars from the systems shop, he quickly got dressed into his school clothes and headed outside, walking down the side walk towards Forks Highschool.

It was at that moment however that something caught his eyes, with his enhanced perception, he could see quite a lot farther than most regular humans.

Out there, on the left side of him, near the tree line, something was watching.

Alan didn't turn his head, doing so felt like putting himself in danger and at the moment whatever was watching him, wasn't making any sudden moves that he could or needed to react to.

'What… is that thing?' Alan thought as his brows furrowed as he kept walking, whilst trying to see as much as he could with the side of his eye.

Right there at the tree line, though the sight was slightly blurry, he could see a tall dark figure, if it had been just that, Alan wouldn't have been concerned, it could have just been a regular human however he was more than certain that it wasn't a human. For a very simple fact.

His mana perception had been turned on, and the thing was surrounded, basically drenched in a large quantity of mana that almost reached the same level as what he had seen from Alice Cullen and the rest of her family.

But the colour, it was almost the complete opposite of the vampires, which had a bloody crimson aura that surrounded them, this thing had a dark emerald coloured aura that surrounded it almost completely, almost helping it blend better with the forest around it.

And for a split second, Alan felt almost like an instinctive… warmth towards the thing, not exactly an emotion of kindness but something closer to familiarity.

And the other difference that clearly put it away from a regular human was the fact that it's eyes were… piercing yellow and staring directly at him, even from this far away, he could see them almost clearly.

If Alan had been a human, if it had just been last week, he wouldn't have noticed the creature at all, atleast not before his evolution into a quarter elf, but now he could, and as he was walking towards his school whilst making sure that on the outside it looked like he was just gazing ahead of him, another thought struck him.

'Those eyes… they're a bit weird… not in just colour, its the spacing… a regular… person doesn't have that wide of a… that thing… is it not humanoid?' Alan thought as a shiver started from the back of his neck and went all the way down to the base of his spine.

He had already tried using Observation however he had found out that the distance between him and it was too large for the observation to work in any way at all.

'Damned it, just as soon as one problem is gone, another problem comes and it comes looking for me. Why? Did it find out that I'm… I'm not human? What reason does it have to be monitoring me? Is it… a friend of her?' Alan questioned himself however as much as he tried, he couldn't come up with a reason as to why, no, it was more like he could however he had no idea on which one was actually the case and if any of the thoughts he had were even correct.

Chapter 96 New
As minutes passed, Alan's figure disappeared into the distance, the morning fog of Forks hiding him from the view of the thing that had been watching him as he disappeared into a blur.

Meanwhile… the thing that had been watching him slowly started to straighten up, as the sound of bones being rearranged and broken rang out, the sound of tearing flesh and if one had the ability to hear what humans couldn't they would even hear the sound of organs being rearranged.

What had before been a hulking wolf, a monster that was practically gigantic in comparison to any other wolf that humankind knew, had turned into a naked male human with tanned skin and short dark brown hair. His body was built and filled with muscle yet at the same time not to the point where it would harm his mobility or athletic ability.

It was at that moment that another man appeared behind him, a few meters away hidden behind a tree and threw him a pair of clothes. It was another dark skinned man with middle length hair.

"So, did you find anything Sam?" The man asked as Sam, the man who had just turned from a gigantic wolf and back into a human was dressing himself back up in a pair of jeans and a white shirt that had clearly seen much better days.

"No… there's nothing. He doesn't smell like the cold ones, he smells slightly different but its only a slight difference, could just be a perfume or something similar… if anything, he smells closer to how we do than them." Sam Uley replied as he shook his head, his voice was gruff, almost as if he was using it for the first time, something that happened every time that he transformed back from his wolf form and back into his human form.

"I see, then I guess there really wasn't anything… still, we could go and check his apartment whilst he's away, see if you can smell anything there." The other man said as he shrugged his shoulders, walking closer to Sam now that he was fully clothed.

"Right… let's go get it done with." Sam replied, as he turned and the two of them walked out from the edge of the tree line and into the streets, heading towards Alan Walkers apartment whilst Alan himself was heading towards Forks Highschool.

Around twenty minutes later, Alan arrived before the highschool parking lot, he walked inside, deep inside his own mind as he kept walking on the outside, even whilst he was deeply in his thoughts, he perception over the surroundings hadn't slipped even for a slight second, it was something that he had learned how to do by being in battle so constantly with the slimes, sometimes he had to think of strategies on the fly however when one was in the middle of battle, he couldn't hope to stop and ask the opponent to stop so that they could come up with some kind of strategy, he had to do it whilst fighting them.

It was at that moment that his mind noticed something at the other end of the parking lot. Alice Cullen was currently waving at him as she practically started skipping towards his direction.

Stopping for a moment and shaking his head slightly to get himself out of his thoughts and more ready, he turned to face the woman that had almost already reached him.

'Let's… not think about whatever that was for a bit. It's not like I can do anything more than be more on guard, but I already am, I'm already doing everything that I can by leveling up as much as I can. Perhaps… I should start heading to a different location when I enter the dungeon, somewhere that nobody knows and then entering the dungeon, if i keep doing it inside of my bedroom, I could teleport back and find myself already inside of a trap or something similar. That… that's a good idea.' Alan thought as his mind finally came back to the surface as he gazed at Alice who had already spoken.

"Sorry, can you repeat that? I was thinking about something just now." Alan muttered as he lifted his hand and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he made an almost shy smile, apologising.

Alice looked at him for a moment before releasing a soft giggle as she patted his back.

"I was just asking if you got a dog or something, you smell like one. So, any cute puppies? You smell like wet dog, and honestly It's a pretty bad smell on you, I thought you'd be more of a cat person." Alice replied as she wrinkled her nose and made and exaggerated motion by shaking her head as if to show him just how much he smelled.

The question confused Alan for a moment as he looked at her, his eyes widening slightly as he instantly connected or atleast made another theory.

'Wet dog… could it be because of that thing?' Alan thought to himself in confusion before he shook his head on the outside.

"No, I don't have a dog and I don't plan on getting one anytime soon, I don't have the time to properly care for it and if your not taking good care of your pets, its not even worth getting them in the first place." Alan replied, and the instant he did, Alice's expression changed, her amber eyes that had appeared to almost be shining more than usual darkened almost instantly.

"I… I see, maybe you just touched a random stray or something. Who knows… you have to be careful though. Forks really… should get rid of those dogs from the streets." Alice said with a tight smile on her face.

Chapter 97 New
"I… I see, maybe you just touched a random stray or something. Who knows… you have to be careful though. Forks really… should get rid of those dogs from the streets." Alice said with a tight smile on her face as she looked at Alan, her eyes having almost fully darkened before they slowly started to regain their amber colouring once more as her smily turned from tight and looking utterly forced to anyone that was watching to something much more real.

"So, I was thinking, you already told me that you couldn't come by last week since you were going out with your friends, you wanna go out together tonight? I know this good pizza place in port angeles and we could take my car. Have some fun y'know?" Alice said as she walked closer until the point where she was practically chest to chest with Alan.

Looking down at the shorter woman, Alan felt confusion slowly spread in his mind for a brief moment before he remembered what she was talking about. Alice had indeed invited him last week, before all of the stuff had occurred, before he had encountered all of the shit that had gone on to scar his possibly for life.

'Right… I totally forgot about that, It slipped my mind entirely, that did happen… before I went with those guys to check out the weed, or atleast I think it was around that time. Not quite exactly sure with the timing… that part, and that day isn't really something that I want to even remember… damn it.' Alan thought to himself, almost feeling the need to sigh right then and there however he held himself back, he couldn't just sigh at this moment, to others who couldn't read his thoughts, it would be like he was sighing in exasperation that she had even asked him to go out.

'Still… I want as much time to train as possible, especially with whatever that thing that was watching me was… but on the other hand, fostering an even better relationship with the Cullens will only do me good. I guess I can… it would just be a few hours and then I can head back into the dungeon when I return.' Alan thought quickly inside his mind as he put the value of training for a few more hours against the value of his current relationship and future relationship with the cullens against eachother and weighed them.

Lifting his hand to rub the base of his neck, a motion that he had started doing a lot more often these days without even noticing, he gave a slow nod towards her.

"Alright, when do you want to meet up? And what time." Alan asked, his voice soft and slightly tinged with a tone of curiosity as he looked down at the pixie-like woman before him that was looking at him as if he had just given her the world simply by agreeing to what was most certainly a date in her eyes even if Alan himself didn't particularly think so.

"Hell yeah! Finally! Do you know how many times you've dodged me. Getting you to go anywhere is like basically impossible y'know? I barely got you to sit with me in the cafeteria. I'm winning, slowly but surely!" Alice said with that giddy excited tone of hers as she raised a fist up towards the air, in what Alan thought was… a frankly cute expression and pose if one didn't consider the fact that this small and quite frankly tiny woman could likely snap his body in half or straight up take his head and spine off with a simple arm movement.

'Still… when you just look at her like this, she really is just an excited teenager sometimes. But… I wonder what her actual age is… and isn't it kinda creepy if she's like… hundreds of years old and still acting like this? Food for later thought.' Alan thought to himself before he shook his head outwardly, his lips slightly lifting upwards, it was almost impossible not to smile when watching how Alice acted sometimes, atleast now that he didn't have that almost everpresent instinctual fear sense that she had been giving him when he was entirely human.

"So? Time and place? Or are you just going to keep celebrating, almost makes me want to turn around and not show up y'know?" Alan said, his voice teasing as he looked into her eyes.

In an isntant, Alice's eyes widened comically as she released a clearly exaggerated gasp towards him.

"No way, you wouldn't dare. With how you act sometimes, I'm starting to think you might be gay or something. Not that I would judge, just sayin." Alice said in turn, her voice carrying an equally if not higher teasing voice than his had just been.

Alan felt his eyebrow twitch in slight annoyance before he released a soft chuckle.

"No, I'm straight, so give me the answer already." He replied, slightly serious before turning his gaze to look past her towards the rest of the cullens, directly at Jasper.

"Or am I?" Alan said teasingly.

"Ah you, stop looking over there. Anyways, I'll come pick you up at your place, like two hours after classes end. Is that okay?" Alice asked as she practically started grabbing his shirt to forcefully turn him around so he faced her.

"Fine, that work's just fine for me. I'll see you then. I gotta head inside now, get my books and get ready for class." Alan replied as he gave a nod as he lifted his arm and patted her shoulder for a moment before taking his hand away.

"Alright, It's a promise, don't you dare take your word back Alan. Don't want you disappearing on me again for days got it?" Alice said as she raised her hand, making it into a fist and shaking it infront of his face.

"Alright, Alright. Calm down." Alan said back, raising his hands up in surrender before turning to walk towards the front of the school, lifting one arm in a wave without even looking back.

"See you later then."

"Sure… see you later Alan." Alice replied as she waved back even though he wasn't looking, her voice having grown softer as he watched his figure get smaller and smaller as he walked away.

Chapter 98 New
As soon as Alan's figure disappeared inside of the front doors of the highschool, the soft almost gentle expression on Alice's face disappeared as if it hadn't even been there in the first place, her body turning towards the rest of her family as she started walking quickly towards them.

Arriving before them in seconds, she stopped right infront of the two cars, the silver volvo and the red jeep.

Emmet Cullen and Rosalie Hale were standing together as they usually did, backs to the Jeep doors whilst Jasper Hale was standing a few feet away by himself, a small book in his hand that he seemed to be reading, it looked like something that had been written a long time ago, simply by the fact that the leather on the book itself looked extremely dated.

Edward Cullen meanwhile was by his silver volvo, his gaze seemed absent as if he was still deeply inside his own thoughts, or maybe he was trying to simply try and ignore the thoughts of the hundreds of students that were buzzing around in the parking lot.

Alice made a soft coughing noise, and instantly the attention of all of them focused on her, Edward getting out of his daze and turning to gaze at her questioningly for a moment before his eyes narrowed and his expression turned almost sour. Meanwhile Jasper had already lowered his book, having sensed her tumultuous emotions already before she had even coughed. Emmet and Rosalie were the only ones that didn't sense the aggression in Alice for a moment however they realised almost just as quickly with one simple look into her eyes that had become the colour of dark obsidian.

"What is it?" Rosalie asked, her voice both curious and yet guarded, she didn't see Alice this affected often, but it seemed to happen more and more since she had started talking with this Alan, and she already had an inclination to believe that it was somehow related to him.

"Alan's… being watched by some of the Quileute… I think they're pushing a bit too far with this aren't they?" Alice said softly, slowly, her voice didn't carry any aggression, it was casual, as if she was talking about the weather today and yet that very tone which would have been normal on any other person, was completely abnormal on the usual giddy and excited and warm Alice Cullen.

"The dogs… they don't know about your relationship with him or what he is to you, they just see you getting close to a human and that he might be something, All of us already suspect something about him, his changes are too drastic, not to mention the fact that the friends he made just last week are now gone, as if they have vanished into thin air. This could just be them controlling to check if anything… suspicious is going on." Edward replied as he walked to stand closer to her, the rest of the Cullens following through as they made an almost semicircle around eachother.

"That could be the case, but I don't particularly care Edward. I don't want them anywhere near him." Alice replied, her tone soft and casual as she shook her head.

"They're likely to disappear and leave him alone if they find nothing." Edward answered back, trying to get her to calm down slightly, unlike from before, this could become a major incident really quickly, and it would more than likely end up in bloodshed if it did and in a treaty that had lasted centuries being broken.

"But they can find something Edward, that's what your not understanding. He isn't normal. He clearly isn't. And they could find something and if they do, those mutts will attack, because they for some reason think that only they are safe and any other supernatural creature or thing besides them is an enemy to be killed. Those damned dogs. I don't care Edward, I want him safe, and I want him mine and I do not want anyone to even touch him." Alice replied, her voice soft as she slowly and carefully pronounced each and every word as she looked him directly into the eyes.

"That… are you saying that you don't care even if he is the reason that those kids disappeared?" Jasper asked slowly as he looked at Alice, his ability was already working on overdrive to calm the tsunami of emotions that were happening inside of the small body of Alice Cullen.

Alice slowly turned her head as she gazed at Jasper Hale, before her lips slowly lifted up into a smile that each and every other cullen would remember for days to pass. It was beautiful, undeniably a beautiful smile, every vampire was extremely charismatic afterall, however it wasn't just beautiful, it was similarly harrowing in an uncanny way that only they who knew the secret behind their existence and what they were could truly comprehend.

"I am. I am saying exactly that Jasper. When I was first turned, I didn't know what I was doing, I didn't care about human life, I was a mindless beast before Carlisle found me. And I do believe in the new ways that Carlisle taught me, I truly do. But there are certain lines that should not be crossed with me Jasper. And the biggest red… fucking line Jasper. Is touching my mate. Is snooping around list a fucking dog where you should not be. And as for Alan… even if he is the cause of that disappearance... He is ultimately mine. If anyone were to punish him, it would be me. I am the only one who gets to decide and the only one who gets to punish him in any way or regard." Alice replied, her voice almost carefree, almost giddy, the tone only adding to the overall weirdness… and horror of the conversation that was happening, it wasn't the words themselves that represented horror, it was the implication of what she was saying that was horrific.

Chapter 99 New
The hours slowly passed, the students heading from one classroom to the other as they carried on with their classes for the day. Bell ring after bell ring until the final bell rang and the students were finally released once more from the gates of academic hell as most would call it.

Getting up from his seat near the window, Alan stretched his arms above as he released a soft tired yawn before turning and starting to walk out of the class.

The rest of the classes hadn't truly been anything exciting, the talk about what had occurred yesterday was still ongoing and there really wasn't any other gossip that he could partake in that he found particularly interesting, it wasn't like he had any friends left currently, the ones he used to have were… dead and the only other so called friend was Alice Cullen, and he had already made plans with her after school.

Walking down the winding halls of the highschool building, Alan quickly arrived at the front door as he exited out of the building and headed down the parking lot. Noticing Alice and the rest of the Cullens at the side, already at their cars, he didn't stop as he simply lifted his hand in a wave towards Alice before walking off, towards his apartment.

The walk home didn't take a while, not more than twenty minutes of a bit of a quicker pace than usual before he was standing infront of his apartment building once more.

Alan stopped, right at the entrance of the building as he turned his head slightly towards the right and then left, however he couldn't see anything or anyone even with his enhanced vision.

'Mana Perception.' Alan thought to himself and in an instant the ability was activated, showing him an entirely different world than the one, humans saw regularly on a day to day basis.

However even with the mana perception activated and him looking around as he slowly started walking up the stairs of the building towards his apartment, he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Slowly taking out his key from his pocket and putting it inside the keyhole, he turned it and with a loud clicking noise, the front door of his apartment was unlocked.

Slowly pushing the door, he entered inside and froze, his eyes slowly widening as he gazed at the insides of his… what had been his apartment atleast.

There were scratch marks, all around the room, and his bed was amost completely destroyed, the white cotton stuffing having spread everywhere after the pillows and the mattress had been utterly dismantled, looking as if they had been thrown inside of a meat grinder.

His desk, the desk that he had owned for years by this point was broken, it hadn't been broken even during his fight with Johana and yet here it was, broken into pieces that were now scattered all around the room. But that, that wasn't the worst part.

'My… my fucking clothes.' Alan thought to himself as he stared at the completely ripped jeans and shirts and even the damned underwear that had just been ripped apart and then thrown to the middle of the room, right there on the floor where he could see it as soon as he walked inside.

'Who… did this. No, what did this? That's claw marks. That's most definitely claw marks.' Alan thought as he slowly tensed his jaw to the point where his teeth could be heard audibly grinding against eachother as he slowly took a step forward and then another before crouching down infront of the ripped clothing pile in the middle of the room.

'You… You absolute shit heads, I don't… I don't even have the money to buy new clothes, I don't have the fucking time to go shopping, why did you even do this? Why the fuck… you… haaah…' Alan thought as he released a long winded sigh, slowly attempting to calm himself down, it was one thing to enter inside of his apartment without his consent, it was another thing entirely to enter his apartment and then proceed to practically ruin everything that he owned for reasons that Alan still couldn't figure out.

'I don't know what they're or what it is after, but I know one thing from sure, just from this. It's either got anger problems, or it very very clearly does not like me. Fuck… well alright then you fucker. You wanna play like this?' Alan thought as he slowly stood up from his crouched position where he had been crouched at, holding a pair of his underwear that he threw away to the ground as soon as he stood up.

Slowly his hand moved towards his right pocket as he took out the his flip phone and flipped the upper part open before starting to type out a number inside as he navigated to the call menu of the phone.

*Ring*

*Ring*

*Ring*

The phone rang thrice before the phone was picked up on the other side of the line.

The contact name showing on the caller id finally as Alan held the phone and slowly brought it up to his ear, his expression having changed from furious to something much colder, it was pure hatred, it was in a way a petty hatred, if that thing wanted to mess with him… well then, he wasn't about to play fair. Not anymore.

[ Alice Cullen. ]

That was the name of the contact he had just called.

Chapter 100 New
[ Alice Cullen. ]

That was the name of the contact that he had just called on his phone.

"Alan? What's up? Why are you calling me this early… oh wait, don't tell me… you couldn't wait for me to show up and got the jitters?" Alice said from the other side of the line, her voice slowly turning teasing by the end of her sentence however Alan didn't respond, not instantly, not for a few seconds as the call turned silent after Alice had spoken her teasing line.

A few seconds later, Alice spoke once more, her voice slowly losing that teasing giddy edge that it had before as it turned softer, more concerned.

"Alan? You there?" She asked from the other side of the phone call.

Finally, Alan spoke, his voice colder than it had been in a while, it didn't shake and neither did it carry any kind of emotion, not the anger and neither did it carry the hate and pettyness that he was currently feeling towards whatever had done this to him.

"There's been a problem. My apartment, someone came inside and kind of basically just destroyed all of my shit. So… I don't know If I'll be able to come with you tonight for the date thing." Alan said, calmly into the phone, coldly, he didn't ask for her help, he didn't need to, he knew that the best way to ask for help sometimes wasn't to ask for it, it was to simply take away something that the other person wanted because of something that had happened, and if the other person could fix the situation, than they naturally would because they would want their prize and in this case, the date itself was the prize that Alice had been vying over.

"It was… your place was destroyed?" Alice asked, her voice still maintained that concerned edge however it had somehow turned into a deeper lower pitch than before, for a moment Alan almost felt like it wasn't Alice on the line at all, the voice was simply too different from the one that he usually heard.

"Yeah, it's pretty much ruined, and the fucker even got all of my clothes and ripped them before just dropping them in the middle of the room, they didn't even take anything, not like I had anything of value, they just ruined my apartment and left, the weird thing is that I dont even know how they managed to get inside, the door was locked with my key and the lock wasn't broken when i came inside just now." Alan replied as he slowly walked and sat down, his back sliding along the wall until he was flat on his ass on the ground.

"I see… I'll come right over, you can't stay there, what if they're still somewhere nearby. It's dangerous, did you call the police yet?" Alice asked, her voice carrying over the line together with the sound of fast footsteps and the rushing wind that could be heard from over the line, she was clearly running somewhere and fast.

"No, havn't called anyone besides you yet, I was just kind of in shock and called you first, maybe instinct." Alan replied as he held the phone close to his ear, his voice slowly turning slightly afraid on the line at her mention of the attacker being possibly nearby however that was all an act, Alan's face proved his true emotions much better than his voice ever did, there wasn't a speck of fear on his expression, his expression was a complete and utterly emotionless deadpan, the emotions were inside him, not showing and they most certainly weren't fear.

"You… by instinct… good. Just… I'll be right there in a few minutes. Don't move." Alice replied, her voice softening and almost turning breathy for a moment, the words almost being stuttered out of her mouth from over the phone call as the sound of the rushing wind similarly stopped for an instant, it was clear that his words had done their intended effect on her.

'Like hell I'd call the police on this, my apartment already was a crime scene, and If I add this on top of it, It'll just get weirder and more suspicious… besides that's not even the biggest reason, this clearly wasn't done by something human. It was likely done by that thing that was looking at me from the woods in the morning, whatever that thing was… wait… Alice did say that I smelled like a dog… a wolf? Some kind of werewolf?' Alan thought to himself as he suddenly remembered Alice's expression when she had smelled him earlier in the day aswell as the mysterious figure that he could only see the shining eyes of from the edge of his vision earlier in the day.

'That… werewolf? Is that it? Fuck… first vampires, and then skin walkers or whatever and now fucking werewolfs.' Alan thought as he slowly released a sigh of pure unadulterated exhaustion, the phone call was still on however thankfully it hadn't managed to pick up his sigh.

"Yeah, I'll stay put, right here in my room. Ain't got anywhere else to be anyways, still… I wonder who did this, you got any idea? They must have used some kind of special tool or something, it looks like something basically clawed the entire room, it's like they released a bear or a wolf or something inside here." Alan said outloud, trying to subtly gain information on whether his theory of a werewolf was correct without actually saying it oudloud but merely telling Alice of the marks and waiting for her reaction over the phone line.

"Claw marks?" Alice's voice was heard from over the line… and somehow, impossibly… it had become even darker, it was to the point where it almost resembled a growl more than it did human speech.

Chapter 101 New
"Claw marks?" Alice's voice was heard from over the line… and somehow, impossibly… it had become even darker, it was to the point where it almost resembled a growl more than it did human speech.

"Yeah, It's like someone put a wild animal inside here. No idea what happened… I think they got in through a window or something. Anyways, you know where I live right?" Alan asked over the phone as he released a sigh, slightly exaggerated however with the current situation that was occurring at the moment, it wasn't like she would notice anything about it.

"Wild Animal… Yeah… I guess that would be a way to describe them. I mean… however attacked and destroyed your home." Alice said, the first words that left her mouth and were transferred over the phone were said with such venom that i clearly carried through the line, the tone itself held what could only be called pure hate, it felt even worse than what Alan himself was feeling at the current moment and the situation had happened to him. Not Alice in the first place.

'She… sure does sound… over protective… and in a way, it seems like she does have some kind of information on who this could possible be. Could it be that the Cullens and these guys actually know eachother? Unlike with Johana who was from another city… these guys or this thing could be based on or around Forks.' Alan thought as an idea instantly formed inside of his mind as he tried to piece together whatever he could from the information that he was trying to glean from his conversation with Alice over the phone.

"Alright, I'm already in my car, I'll be there in a bit, just hold the line if you need to." Alice said over the phone, her voice having grown softer, losing its previous edge, turning into something that almost resembled words of comfort directed towards Alan.

"No… It's fine, I'll see you when you're here, just come up the stairs, the doors open so you should be able to see which apartments mine." Alan replied, he had no need to keep her on the call when he had other thoughts inside his mind, acting with her was tiring especially if he had to start thinking about what he actually had to do. He had a great ally in the Cullens however at the same time, whilst the danger wasn't inherently from them anymore as he had learned, it was from the system itself, the thing had warned him, if he told the Cullens about its existence, the penalty would be death, a penalty that he didn't want to test or try even slightly, he did not know for sure if he would still get the penalty even if he accidentally exposed himself. And so he was still in danger, however he had chosen to at least do the danger that he could somewhat prevent and try to avoid, which in this case was indeed the system.

Meanwhile the other danger was the thing that had attacked his apartment, he couldn't control that danger in any way, he couldn't even predict when it would occur again either, so he had chosen the lesser of the two dangers to deal with in a way.

"Alright. I'll be right there." Alice replied over the phone before the call ended as the phone showed the call ending screen before Alan flipped it closed once more and slowly stood up from his seated position where he had been with his back against the wall.

Standing up to his full height, he slowly walked to his window and with a single look, it was clear that the attacker had chosen this as his entrance, the window itself wasn't shattered, if one looked from the outside they wouldn't have noticed anything however as soon as Alan lifted his hand and grasped the handle, it was clear that it was broken and barely handing on, the hinges having completely broken as well.

'It just jammed the window back in… thats why It looks normal. There's no fuckin hinges at all, he just crammed it shut.' Alan thought as the entire window just came together with the broken handle, falling down onto the floor besides him.

*Shatter*

As soon as it fell, the glass shattered as well and Alan was left there, looking down at his shattered and completely broken window, his deadpan expression slowly cracking as his eyebrows twitched, a vein starting to bulge on his forehead as he his hands slowly curled up into fists.

'I have to pay for this shit too huh…' Alan thought to himself as he slowly walked closer to what had once been his window and was now just an opening in the wall to look outside, leaning against it, he put his head out as he felt the evening wind softly blowing against his face.

'I wonder… why am I so angry?' Alan thought to himself suddenly, it was a sudden unexpected thought that had just occurred to him as he was leaning out from the window sill.

'I've faced worse odds and I've been angry before, but never… quite this explosively. It… It almost feels like I was betrayed… why?' Alan questioned himself inside his own mind as he tried to find a reason and yet he wasn't coming up with anything that made sense.

Chapter 102 New
The more he thought about it, the more his emotions became weirder to him in a way, it was as if they were enhanced, no more like they were the emotions of another person entirely. Sure, Alan knew that he was a teenager, that he did get angry quite often, but not to this extent and most certainly not when inside what could potentially be a danger zone where the attacker could hit him at any second.

And it was at that moment as he was thinking about it, that something occurred to him, it was a small detail that had flied past him and he had almost forgotten about it entirely throughout the entire day.

When he had seen that thing, and those shining yellow eyes in the darkness of the treeline together with that green emerald aura that had surrounded the being, Alan had felt a sort of warmth or connection towards it, almost instinctively.

'Is my mind processing this as a betrayal instead of just an attacker?' Alan thought finally as the pieces slowly fell into place, it was the only reason that he could find however it was a reason that was even more unexplainable than him simply not knowing the reason for his emotions at all. That way, he could have simply explained it away as him losing his cool today a bit more than usual, but this detail added… something that didn't make sense at all, in any sort or shape of way.

'Why would I feel warmth towards that thing that was very much clearly inhuman, and something that I have never met before in my life? Was it some sort of ability that the thing had? Some kind of magic?' Alan thought for a moment as confusion slowly rippled through his mind before he shook his head.

'Even if I think about it now, I can't really find a reason, I dont have any real information on what that thing was, but atleast I can form some assumptions and possible reasons. Number one would most certainly be that it has some kind of magic that can influence my mind and emotions, that is the worst one, I just finished dealing with that fucking mind possesion bitch. The other reason would be that It's a creature that inherently has an extremely high charisma, this would be better than the magic as it would mean that it's not a controller effect but rather just its aura. That's basically the only two ways that I can think of at the moment with my current knowledge…. Damned it, I still know so little about this world.' Alan thought in frustration as he shook his head, he desperately hoped that it wasn't his first assumption, that would be a massive headache, however even if it was the second option, it wouldn't be much better but it would at least be less dangerous.

'Alright, let's… let's just get ready for Alice to come, after talking with her… I could potentially start… trying to get her to tell me stuff… whilst trying to maintain my secrecy. Though after my transformation, she clearly knows I'm… not normal but it doesn't matter if she suspects… and if worst comes to worst…. I can simply tell a lie to cover up the system, something believable…' Alan thought to himself before nodding to himself and turning to head back inside.

Once inside, he looked around the room, his mana perception still activated however he couldn't see any mana or residue that could have been left behind.

'I'd likely need a higher level of the skill to be able to see the residue or mana that has been around here. Or another evolution that would put me closer to a more complete elf. That would be… useful. I Imagine that's likely going to be at either level sixty or maybe fifty since that's the next dungeon?' Alan thought as circled around his room, trying to find anything and then he stopped. He finally found something.

Slowly he crouched down to the floor, it was right there, near the corner of the room, almost right next to his completely and fully ruined desk.

'Is that… a hair?' Alan thought as he took the hair follicle with two fingers and slowly lifted it up and towards the light so that he could have a better look at it.

It was tall, black and almost completely straight, and unlike any other human hair that he had seen before because it most certainly wasn't human, and he could tell with a simple glance.

The hair follicle was too thick to belong to any regular human being.

'It's… similar to the hair… or rather fur of a dog? And with what Alice said previously… wolves… werewolves… It's practically confirmed by this point isn't it?' Alan thought to himself before shaking his head as he slowly stood up.

It was at that moment that he heard the roaring of a car engine pushed to its limits coming from a few streets away.

'That's… most definitely a sports car.' Alan thought to himself before he shook his head for what felt like the hundredth time.

'Here I am, getting mad over old pairs of fuckin jeans and she pulls up in….' Alan thought as he finally turned his head to the window and set his gaze on the sports car that had just practically done a perfect drift through the corner of the street and was coming towards his apartment building at speeds that were more than definitely illegal.

'In a yellow porsche 911…'

Chapter 103 New
The yellow porsche pulled up at speeds that far surpassed what the legal street limit was, drifting through the corner before pulling up before the building at lightning fast speeds.

As soon as the car stopped, the driver side door was pushed open so fast that It almost sounded like it would break completely off of its hinges.

And out came Alice Cullen, her eyes had almost completely darkened, to the point where there was no pupils and iris anymore, both of them had turned almost the exact same shade of darkness.

Looking down at her from the window in his apartment, Alan felt a shiver slowly course through his body, the only reason as to why he wasn't completely frozen at the moment was because the current Alice wasn't releasing her killing intent towards him, that much Alan was sure of. And so, just the intent that was rolling off of her body, had reached the point where it was affecting him, someone that was above a regular human being, simply because he was in a range with her and could see her.

'Just… how the… if this is what she can do when she's truly mad… what would happen to me if she was mad at me instead of for me.' Alan thought and the more he did the less he wanted to think about it. The current Alice and the Current him were clearly not even in the same category yet alone league.

For a while, he had thought that he had somewhat caught up to the Cullens, he had never been delusional enough to think that he had truly completely caught up to them, however he had thought that he had atleast made some meaningful progress. But now that he thought about all that he knew about them, the more he realised that 'that' wasn't the case at all. Infact, if he put in together, their speed that Edward had showed, the strength that he had similarly shown by being able to stop a moving van, and the durability aswell as the sheer amount of pressure just the killing intent that they could creaete gave off, it was no doubt at this point in time.

'Hundreds… theyr in the hundreds in levels, that… that's the only way.' Alan thought before noticing as Alice quickly headed to his apartment buildings front door and went inside, the sound of footsteps practically running up the stairs being heard and then a mere moment later, Alice appeared into view again, this time through the open front door, and merely a few feet away from him.

Her pupiless-like eyes locking onto him with an intensity that almost felt insane, that however thankfully only lasted for a moment as her eyes seemed to calm down somewhat after they roamed over his body quickly for any injuries that were showing or that Alan could be hiding, after finding none. She turned her gaze towards the room, it was at that point that her eyes slightly widened once more as she took in the devastation that had occurred around here.

For a bit, she hadn't, she had been to focused on checking on Alan to even care what happened to his room or his possession, however now that she had atleast determined that he wasn't injured or atleast wasn't injured to the point where it showed, she had the time to check on the room, on the ripped clothes in the middle of it, on the broken furniture, on the complete and absolute mess that had become of Alan's apartment, the apartment where he had spent so many long years, trying his best to maintain it as well as he could, however now, all those efforts at preservation had completely gone down the drain.

Finally after what felt like ages, Alice Cullen spoke for the first time since she had come inside.

"It… looks like a real mess inside here… is this even… a liveable enough apartment now?" Alice muttered softly, her voice gentle yet despite the gentleness and softness that was used, Alan felt his jaw clench whilst his eyebrows twitched.

"What do you mean is it even liveable? Ofcourse it is. It is… okay fine, it isn't perfect but who cares about a bedframe, I can just use… what remains of the mattress and who cares about clothes, I got a good enough body that people wont think is weird… probably, hopefully." Alan says in turn, however each reply he gives, he simply falls deeper and deeper into his own well dug grave, he couldn't truly protect his rooms reputation much when it was currently in what could only be called Absolute shambles.

"Look… just… I need a bit of help with cleaning the bad stuff thats been broken around the room and then besides that, I would really appreciate it if you could tell me if you have any way to find this damned person who did this. The cultprit must be absolute evil, I swear." Alan replied as he releaased a long winded sigh, his upper body lifting up as he took as deep of a breath as he could before slowly releasing it up, calming his nerves as much as he could before his jaw unclenched and his eyebrows stopped twitching, finally since he had come into this room and since Alice had come whilst feeling like she was the devil itself. Alan Walker was once more calm however that didn't mean that he wasn't thirsty…. Thirsty for revenge.

"No, there is no way that im going to allow you to do that." Alice replied as she turned her gaze towards him once more, looking away from the mess that was currently Alan's apartment room, her pitch black eyes had narrowed as she looked Alan directly into the eyes, it was clear that she wasn't going to be taking her excuse that he was fine at all, infact It was quite clear that she would not be taking any other answer besides the one she wanted.

"You aren't… going to allow that? And what am I going to do then?" Alan asked as he lifted an eyebrow however he had already realized what was happening and that there was no way in hell he was going to be escaping the predicament that he truly hadn't wanted.

'Damned it… I completely forgot to think about this as a possible outcome when I called Alice… and now…' Alan thought inwardly to himself, he felt like hitting himself in the head however the more he thought about it at the moment, the more he realized, there really wasn't any other way for him to figure out who his attacker had been meanwhile Alice had already seemed to have an inkling of doubt about who it could have been.

"What are you going to do? You're simply going to come with me and live at my place until we can figure something else out of course." Alice replied without missing a single beat as she nodded her head, to her it was clear as day what should be done, and thus Alan's thought was confirmed almost as instantly as he had it inside of his mind.

"At your place? You're saying that as if it's normal. You have to ask your parents first, your family. I don't want to be a bother and look, it really isn't that bad. I can like make up something on the floor and sleep until I figure shit out and all." Alan replied almost just as quickly as she had, he truly desperately wanted to not head into the Cullen home and live there for whoever knows how long.

'It would make entering the system dungeons… a really really large hassle, and then theres the issue about the death penalty if they somehow found out which would be a lot easier for them to when im living inside of their damn house.' Alan thought to himself as he felt a headache slowly start coming, his head slowly starting to pound as he released a deep long winded sigh.

"My parents? You mean Carlisle and Esme? They wouldn't say anything, infact they would be glad to meet my friend, they would infact be mad if I didn't take you and give you hospitality when this just happened to you. The fact that you called me first… it really means a lot to me, as a friend." Alice said as she looked at him, her gaze had yet to leave his eyes, just as he had assumed, there was no winning this argument, he had done it because he had needed to and there would be cons either way if he hadn't called her and if he called her and he had simply chosen the lesser one.

Looking at her for a moment in complete and utter silence, Alan nodded his head finally as he looked away from her piercing gaze and towards the window.

"Alright, I'll come, this is just… a lot to taken in for one day. I come to school and you say that I smell like wet dog, which wasn't nice by the way. And then I come back home and my home is broken and now I have to come to your house, which is going to be such an awkward situation. Do you even have an extra room available for me?" Alan asked slowly as he released another last sigh at the end of his speech as he finally stopped shaking his head slowly at the situation.

"Another room? Why would we need that? You can just sleep with me in my room, we can like do full on sleepovers and have so much fun talking and everything all night!" Alice replied almost as soon as he finished talking himself.

Her words stopped him for a moment as slowly stiffly turned his head until he was facing her, his eyes widening slightly at what she had just suggested.

'Is… she right in the head? Like hell I'll do that. Sleep in the same damn room as a vampire. No, that isn't even that hard part about that arrangement, it's the fact that, I'll have to tell her god damned dad or father or whatever vampires have, that I'm going to sleep… in the same damn room as his daughter, inside his own house. Oh hell no.' Alan thought to himself, the mere thought of it slowly sending shivers down his spine as his imagination, a fearsome enemy of his as always reared its head with all the different ways, very…. Extremely gory was about how exactly he could be decapitated, gutted, hooked like a fish and left to dry on the sun outside wherever the hell her house was.

"I… I don't think that's something I'm comfterable with Alice. You know… you're a girl and all that." Alan said slowly as he instantly switched tactics from straight refusal to something else.

'Play the shy boy card, play the damn shy boy card.' Alan thought as he tried to make himself look as pitifully shy as he could, his expression thankfully seemed to switch almost perfectly, even a slightly rose blush appearing on his face almost as if on command. Something that he didn't realise yet he was even capable of doing.

Alice stopped for a moment as she had been raising her hand towards his shoulder, her arm freezing as her pupils widened as she looked at the scene before her before she slowly retracted her hand, a small smile appearing on her face as she slowly shook her head, the pitch black pupils slowly regaining their amber coloring once more.

Chapter 105 New
"Alright…" Alice said softly, finally, after a couple seconds of pure silence that was more awkward than a lot of situations Alan had been in before.

"Alright? So… I'll stay… here?" Alan said slowly softly, trying to see if he had just accidentally done the best possible action and received the best possible outcome.

Alice shook her head before she released a soft chuckle and slapped his back lightly with her hand, the color in the eyes had almost fully reverted back to its original amber state.

"No, of course not dummy, You're still going to come with me just that I'll find you a room in the house, we got quite a few of them that are free and that no one is using in any way.

So you'll be fine. Still we are so totally going to do that overnight sleepover idea thing now that you're staying at my place for a while." Alice replied with a light airy giggle as she took his hand and practically started dragging him towards the front door of his apartment room.

"Hey… hey! Wait, you havn't even told your father anything!" Alan said as he raised his voice in shock as he was slowly but surely dragged towards the front door, there was nothing he could do, Alice's grip appeared light and didn't harm him in any way, however at the same time it was just as unbreakable as any of the hardest rocks on the world.

'Damned, stop, stop! I am not ready yet.' Alan thought inwardly to himself as he tried to shake her off lightly however there was no stopping an Alice who had clearly already hit her excitement era about him living inside of her mansion. It almost seemed like she had completely forgotten what had just happened to Alan simply for the fact that he would now be living with her for the foreseeable future.

"Ah! It doesn't mantter, he'll say yes anyways and we have a lot of room so its not like we would need to prepare just to have one more person living with us." Alice replied as she giggled that same airy damn giggle that Alan usually found quite adorable but was now slowly becoming the bane of his existence.

'I liked it when that giggle was directed towards others, not when it feels like she's calling me a dummy whilst pulling me towards a god damned vampire coven.' Alan thought to himself, still he knew deep down that he had to get serious now better than later.

As soon as that final thought passed through his mind, the fear and anxiety that he had been feeling over the situation, didn't disappear however they were instantly compartamentalized and swiftly turned and boxed away into the recesses of his mind where they wouldn't be a problem until a later date. His expression of shock and emberrasment slowly fading as he focused on the situation at hand.

'Alright, I'm going with Alice Cullen to her house where the rest of the Cullens and the two Hales live. It is likely that Carlisle as she said will not have… no I can't say that for sure, I don't really have much if at all experience with Carlisle. If I'm being honest than the only Cullen that I truly know is Alice. The rest besides Rosalie Hale who used to glare at me like she wanted to kill me are almost a complete unknown. So what do I do? Stick to Alice almost at a all times, hope to god that she doesn't intend to kill me and if worst comes to worst and I feel even the slightlest inkling that something is wrong… I slowly tell them that I'm going to the bathroom or something like that, a momentary excuse and then I simply teleport to the dungeon.' Alan thought to himself as quickly as he could, trying to form a plan that would allow him to atleast have some kind of idea on what to do.

He didn't know the Cullens well and so he didn't make a detailed plan, he had simply one rule that he would be keeping in mind at the moment and that was that if something smelled wrong, if something felt wrong, he left, without hesitating even for a single second, he would have to consider his time at the Cullen's, the same way as he considered his time inside of the Slime Alleys in the Slime System Dungeon.

All of these thoughts happened quickly, much more quickly than any human thought had any right to be at, they happened in the span of barely three seconds, by the time, Alice had dragged him over his apartment door step, he had already thought of everything.

Looking down, Alice quickly started dragging him down the emergency stairs of his aparmtnet until they reached the base floor and she practically slammed the front door of the apartment building open with so much strength that Alan felt like she would tear the metallic door straight out of its hinges.

'That thing weighs atleast…. Haah… vampires shit huh.' Alan thought for a moment as his eyes went to the door before he had to return his focuse infront of him once more as Alice pulled him towards the yellow Porsche that was parked right infront of his apartment building.

Taking out her key, Alice pressed the button on it and the Porsche lights lit up almost instantly as the car was unlocked.

"Head in." Alice said simply as she finally let go of his hand and walked to the other side of the car to get on the driver seat.

Looking down at the car before him, Alan felt… slight amusement, if this had been him of merely two weeks ago? He would have been quite excited to get into a Porsche, it wasn't that he wasn't excited now, but the difference between the him of back then and the him of now… was simply too major.

'I… I've really changed huh.'
