  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

The necromancy rule is the following
"7: Thread Necromancy is (very) conditionally permitted.
  • Threads that have been dormant for 1 month are considered dead threads. IF you make a post to a dead thread, it must be a significant contribution; story update, new information on current events, new activity for games elsewhere, etc. Asking if a story or quest is dead or will be continued does not count as contributing."
Would an omake post be considered a significant contribution or story update in a questing thread, or should I wait until the OP restarts the quest to post it, if necessary?

Thank you for your help.

It has to be an actual omake post. Not a 1 liner or short paragraph to be considered a significant contribution.

You can also wait til the OP restarts it or ping em with a DM or profile post

Dumb question I know, but if a mod has warned to not necro, does responding count as necro, or would that just be me confirming that the message has been received? I wanted to know because I almost revived a story I'm following, and didn't want to fall down the entire slide face first if ya know what I mean.

Yes. Replying to the necro is continuation of the necro. Just PM the mod if you want to reply.

If it's your story/quest... just reply to it as normal.

If it's locked because NecroMongers being set on fire... just report the first post and request it to be unlocked.

So i just write the title for threadmark label and then just write the next part?

Wait do i reply like this? Where its the quote above and then i write below it like this? Idk

Yes, you can do that. I recommend writing it elsewhere and copy pasting when it's ready. You can enter the threadmark title if it's the next part, or you can go back and edit the post.

Im just so confused with this lol it says below my post to reply but replying it looks like I just reply like how im replying to you. Just so confusing and all

This is a particular style of forum. The replies don't get nested like they do in some types of forum. Shrug.

You don't even have to hit reply, you can just start typing into the box.
