[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

I was thinking about giving Jaune some Overpowered or Unique Semblance.

1. Archive
Able to take, copy, combine and give semblance.

Jaune decided to use this semblance to make semblance business.

2. Revival
Able to revive the dead.

Condition.
Must have item related to the dead. (It's like finding needle in a haystack. The item function as a magnet to find the correct soul to revive.
)
The longer the person died, the more Aura it takes to bring them back.

3. Grimm Drop
Grimm drops parts when killed. Fangs, skull, claws, bones, tusks and rarely eyes.

It's like Minecraft Mob that drop item when killed.

4. Technopathy
Jaune can control robots and machines. Penny is okay with this. He can share his sense of taste with Penny.

5. Apocalypse Gate
Jaune has a semblance that allows him to travel to other dimensions. The catch? All the world he goes is experiencing apocalypse.

6. Unity
Jaune can link people thought and emotion together allowing them to synchronize their movement without doubt.

Think the Khala of Protoss from Starcraft.

7. Bloom and Doom
Jaune cam create the Plants from Plants Vs Zombies.

When he awakened his semblance, he can use Plants from Plants Vs Zombies 2.

8. Chocolate
Jaune can turn his body into chocolate and control chocolate. Dark, Milk, White and Ruby Chocolate. Kids love him, Nora once accidentally eat his hand, Neo actually kidnaps him several times, Ruby loves baking cookies with him.

Think Logia type Devil Fruit from One Piece.

I'm actually curious what kind of semblance people would give Jaune.

Lancelot: Lifeguard/Swim Instructor (Married to Guinevere?)

For some reason a lot of women keep getting in trouble in the pools he guards, and only women join his classes.

Guinevere says it's because of how sexy and brave he looks carrying a damsel out of the water clad in only his swimming trunks, water giving his abs and muscled limbs a nice shine that highlights his handsome, fiercesome yet heroic appearance.

Lancelot, despite always gently shooting down any love confessions are requests for "physical love", has a reputation as "Mr Lances-a-Lot-of-Married-Women". Thankfully Guinevere understands he's incredibly devoted to her and is entirely monogamous.

Well, except that one time, but that wasn't his fault as he was tricked. Plus Guinevere likes her adopted son, Galahad. She just thinks it's sad to see Lancelot struggle to be a proper father-figure, but she can see he's really trying.

Oh well, Guinevere thinks Lancelot is doing a very good job being a father-figure to Mash Kyrielight. Even if that one time he wore the poor girl's so-called "Dangerous Beast" outfit and she couldn't even look at him for a month.

Lancelot was known for his bloodthirsty rage in his youth. He hurt a lot of people, even those who didn't necessarily deserve it. He's since come a long way and has been doing his best to get better and make amends. His job as a lifeguard was chosen so he'd be able to save lives and atone for those he hurt, while not leaving his wife alone.

Gawain is a very shitting cook. Despite him almost never actually using potatoes, everything he makes, nay, everything he even lays his hands upon during the cooking/making process... tastes like mashed potatoes and NOTHING ELSE!!!!

Galahad believes he's a fantastic cook. Though Gawain is happy, he doesn't realize it's because Galahad believes that the "taste" of a food is irrelevant abd one should only worry about the nutritional value. The fact everything, even just water, tastes like potatoes when Gawain handles them, is a good thing to Galahad. It means he never has to be subjected to anything "tasty" ever again.

Gawain is a much better farmer than he is a cook. He's hard working and dutiful. Always does his best to make what he farms the best quality it can be (not that it helps with his food). He has almost as many admirers as Lancelot.

Tristan: Musician/Poet

Tristan is known for doing creating music that is soothing to the soul. Though a lot of what he makes seems to be full of sadness and grief. People worry that Tristan is depressed. Tristan's wife, Isolde, assures people that that's just the kind of music Tristan likes, and he's good at making it.

Tristan always has his eyes shut. Almost like his sadness is too much for him to even look at the world around him, or that the world is too impure for his beautiful eyes to grace it.

The truth is, Tristan keeps his eyes closed all the time so he can train his hearing. The blind have their other senses heightened to compensate. Tristan wants to train his ears so he can use them to better his music.

Also, if he always has his eyes closed, no one gets suspicious if he falls asleep during meetings. He's a light sleeper, so he always wakes up if his name is called.

He's known as the "Child of Sadness". Isolde thinks the name is cute. If anyone calls Tristan that, they shall feel the wrath of Tristan's masterful "furrowed brows and slight frown" technique!

Random thought. But I think we saw that Rusted Knight Jaune wasn't that much bigger than his 17-18 year old self. But if we go with his old man being Mr. giant's blood Nick as AJT made him imagine him taking after his old man's size while in the ever after. Getting too big for his armor and he had to pull a Kratos. I.e. no shirt and muscled like a bull.

Weiss would not be the only one with her neurons activated when they finally met I imagine.

Ren Snaps
Ren and Nora may have lied about his semblance.

It is definitely the reason they got out of kuroyuri, and it is certainly tied to his emotions...

Anyway Ren doesn't like to use his semblance so he keeps a cool and calm head. Most of the time.

Except his bed broke yesterday, he's out of tea, and Neptune keeps hitting on Nora. Normally that'd just be a minor annoyance except she's already shot him down three times and he just won't shut. The Fuck. Up.

To anyone except Nora Ren would look slightly annoyed. But Nora has known Ren for most of their lives.

So she can confidently say that he is absolutely seething in rage. The visual indicator of his semblance starting to act up, his pink hair strand starting to slowly turn red, also helps.

For Nora it's like watching a bullhead crash in slow motion. Horrible, devastating, and utterly captivating.

Snap.

And suddenly Neptune is flying through the air burning aura sticking to him like magma.

"I swear to the brothers if you don't shut up I'm going to do worse than just give you third degree burns on your soul!"

And just as quickly as it appears the heat is gone. Pink fades to red and embarrassment replaces rage.

Nora doesn't get to see this often but it's a treat when she does. Destruction and power here one second gone the next, just like lightning.

One more reason she's drawn to him.

Hi, @AndrewJTalon, I have an idea for a character that I want your opinion on: the warlord of Vale.

So, here's what I was thinking. On the frontier, there were some abandoned military outposts in the form of castles. Maybe they were built during the Great War or after a joint effort by Atlas and Vale in a show of cooperation. Afterward, when the vale army disbanded, all of these outposts were either abandoned or overrun by grimm. This is where the warlord shows up. One day, while trying to find some shelter, they found one of these outposts, saw that while a lot of the military equipment was outdated, not the newest or shiniest toy, it was still usable, and got the idea to start a PMC.

Now that everyone has some different idea of whom this warlord is, I really need to think up a name for them:
Vale thinks there are some Atlas-backed bandits trying to take Vale's territory.
Atlas thinks their Vale attempted to re-form the Vale army to restart the great war.
Mistral thinks they are some wannabe warlord.
Vacuo doesn't care.
Ozpin thinks they are an agent of Salem.
Salem thinks they are some upstart baron.

The truth is that they are just a normal person whose hometown was destroyed by grimm and were just tired of the fact that frontier towns are often destroyed by grimm because they were too far away from the kingdom's wall, couldn't afford a team of huntsmen, or the huntsmen didn't reach the town in time to save the town and decided to do something about that. They were able to save a few people from a town overrun by grimm, after they found the outpost, give them shelter at the outpost and ask if any of them wanted to help the warlord with their PMC. Most people from the frontier at first thought that the warlord is just trying to form a bandit tribe, but soon learn that no, the PMC is the real thing and that their only goal is to provide protection and security to the frontier, like patrolling the roads between frontier towns and guarding the towns. Even some of their own people, like the local librarian or shop owner, have joined the PMC, people the town knows would never join a bandit tribe. So only the frontier knows the truth about the warlord, and they are tired of having to keep paying taxes to the kingdoms while being left to rot by them and having to export food to the kingdom, because while the kingdom does have their own farms behind their walls, they get most of their food from the frontier, so the frontier decided to support the warlord because the warlord was one of them.

So the warlord starts their PMC and welcomes the outcast and rejects anyone that is willing to join, because in the frontier, it doesn't matter if you're a faunus or a human; all that matters is survival. Got former weapon/vehicle/plane manufacturers whose companies were bought out by SDC or were not picked by the kingdoms to join the PMC and providing infrastructure to the frontier. It has become an army with a state, and the warlord has become the ruler of the frontier in all but name. Not that the warlord cares about any of that or even know how powerful they become; the only thing the warlord cares about is looking after the frontier and its people.

Honestly, I like the concept a lot! You'd have to be careful to avoid making the warlord a Mary Sue but the premise has a lot of merit!

Actually, a lot of PMCs and militias may have started for similar reasons, and the so-called "Warlord" just makes an alliance of several of these villages to increase their security.

Frankly I think it's kind of absurd that the Kingdoms aren't properly defined as being made up of many different smaller kingdoms/provinces that have local governments that handle a lot of their own affairs. This Warlord might have been an exile from one such province and ends up forming his own on the frontier.

Yang: "But Blake, we're-?!"

Blake: "Yeah, our relationship is not actually that deep and I'm probably going to leave you when I need a consort to rule Menagerie-Sun's still around so it'll probably be him-"

Yang: "WHAT?!"

Blake: "Buuuut, if we're all mindbroken from Studly Jaune here breeding us over and over again, I think the relationship can last!"

Yang: "... What the hell did I see in you?"

Blake: "Good question. We having a fivesome or not?"

Jaune: "Um, do I get a say?"

RWBY: "NO."

Jaune: "Damnit, why does THAT have to be my fetish?"

Nerf This
Anyway. We've had a lot of Family for Jaune. How about Childhood Friends?

For instance, what if one of his childhood friends was a certain gamer/mecha pilot?

d_va_by_johnlaw82_da8ls25-414w-2x.jpg

D.Va, aka Hana Song. She pilots combat mecha for a small nation near Solitas that is technically part of Atlas but not fully under their control.

(Basically South Korea.)

She met Jaune while online gaming and they've been meeting IRL a few times ever since. She shows up at the Vytal Festival to ask him to go steady with her. Shenanigans ensue.

Jaune: "Hana!"

Hana: "Jaune!"

They hug tightly.

Jaune: "It's great to see you! Look at you! In... A schoolgirl outfit?"

Hana: "What? I'm visiting you at your school, shouldn't I look the part? Oh hey! Pyrrha Nikos is your partner?"

Jaune: "Yup! Pyrrha, this is Hana Song! My best friend growing up!"

Hana's smile becomes tense and her eyes narrow at Pyrrha. Pyrrha's eyes widen, then narrow, even as she keeps her professional smile up.

Pyrrha: "Charmed to make your acquaintance, Hana."

Pyrrha: He's mine bitch!

Hana: "Oh, absolutely! It's such an honor to meet you! Glad you've been taking care of Jaune."

Hana: We'll see about that, whore!

Jaune: "I hope you two get along!"

Hana and Pyrrha; "Of course Jaune!"

Summer Break in Radian: Winter
Had a small snippet in my head after thinking about Winter arriving in Radian in my post about Summer Break with Team RWBYJNPR:

"Oh, Sister! What are you doing here?" Weiss asked, as she saw her sister for the first time since before attending Beacon.

"I had some leave available, albeit only brief. Seeing as father has disavowed me from the house, I found where you were." Winter replied, before looking around the city-state.

The fences needed some more repair, but the grounds were still very secure. For the first time in a while, Winter seemed to relax and dropped her posture.

Right then, Isabel walked outside. "Ms. Schnee? I think you might need some cooler clothing soon. It's supposed to get rather warm today."

Winter thought for a moment, feeling the heat start to bear down on her uniform. Atlas clothing wasn't the best for summer work. The Specialist then looked back at Weiss. "Excuse me, Sister. I must head to a shop and retrieve some suitable clothing."

With that, the sisters split. Weiss went to the fields to help out the others, and Winter walked towards the market.

"Ms. Schnee?" Isabel called. Winter stopped and turned on her left heel.

"Yes, Mrs. Arc, may I help you?" Winter replied.

"You don't need to go to the market. I have some clothes I no longer wear that should fit you perfectly. And they're made for the hotter temperatures. No need to spend your money out here." The Arc Matriarch said.

"I don't want to be a bother." Winter replied again, giving a slightly off-character smile of gratitude.

"Nonsense, come on over. I have just the right outfit for you." Isabel said. Winter sighed softly and turned back toward the Arc household. After all, why not accept generosity if offered?

*****

A couple of hours, and a few minor alterations later, Winter looked out from the front of the Arc household. Her 'new' linen clothing fitting her toned body well. Isabel only needed to tighten the Sky-blue blouse about an inch around the torso and the White pants hemmed about half an inch. With a soft, pleased sigh, she gazed upon the grounds where everyone worked. Weiss working with Blake and Ruby was a bit of a surprise, given the former's reluctance for physical labor in her youth. She then saw Yang and Pyrrha working on placing large wooden stakes into the ground, providing fixed points to repair the fence. Nora was hammering them with ease, bringing out her weapon to do the job.

Winter smiled at the serene scene, until her eyes came across a couple of men carrying wood to the group. Her focus immediately went to the man whose blonde hair was slightly tussled and soaked in sweat. His shirt was discarded and his arms carried the lumber seemingly with ease as she took note of his flexing arms. He turned away from the house and bent his legs to place the wood down on the ground. She could see his back muscles flexing and relaxing as he did so. The laughter from Yang and bright blush from Pyrrha was evident before the blonde male turned back toward the house.

His broad chest, defined abs, trapezoid type body had her brain doing all sorts of tricks within her head. Was he the 'Jaune Arc' boy Weiss told her about? Was he a yoke-no, that was a man. Was he a huntsman? Was he single?

That last question made Winter shake her head. She didn't just have a schoolgirl moment with a boy at least 5 years younger than her, did she?

"Ah, I see you've seen my son." Isabel said, coming out of the house with some water for the group.

Winter nodded. "That blonde boy over there is your son?"

Isabel nodded. "Of course. Who else has so many women after his heart? I guess I should thank the God of Light for the hot summer. Him taking off his clothing helped me find out who actually likes him."

Winter wore a puzzled look. "What else can you tell me about him?"

The Arc Matriarch lightly chuckled. "I can tell you everything you want to know. After I give the kids some water."

Winter nodded as Isabel left, instantly trying to find ways she could extend her leave... and maybe try to find reassignment to Beacon. For security, of course.

*****

Take that for what you will.

Oh boy you're opening up a whole new can of worms if you're including childhood friend's, including the childhood friend who is jaunes reason for being attracted to weiss.

I'd have also accepted Arsine Lupin III as being able to do it.
It might be interesting to if Jaune was not just from a lineage of Huntsmen, but is also descended or related to some of the best and greatest thieves/criminals of Remnant, with Sly Cooper, Arsine Lupin III and Carmen Sandiego being just a few of them.

Yang: "No...remember...you love the Blake...you exist for the Blake...the Blake is love...the Blake is life...but...but stud...big STRONG MANLY STUD..." *cups her tits and stares at them* "Girls, tell me, what do I do?!"
Is Yang using her breasts like a pair of Magic 8 Balls? 🤣

I don't know what would be funnier;
  • If any answer is just a random result that Yang uses to help sort out her indecision, and just a somewhat strange quirk that Yang has.
  • Or if everyone thinks it's a weird quirk of Yang, but they're actually able to predict the future (with remarkably accuracy), help Yang to get a result she wants (or didn't want but would be happier with), and/or give her useful advice.

Jaune: A-asuka?
Asuka: been awhile Wonderboy
Weiss: who the hell does this bitch think she is?

A few prompts for Sunday:

-Nick Arc helps Jaune with how to handle multiple love interests.

Nick: "Mostly I was unaware of how many girls were thirsty for me! It took my sensei and your great-grandma telling me that your mother was in love with me to figure it out! Of course I loved her too but I didn't really know what that feeling was until they explained it to me!"

Jaune: "Except I know what that feeling is, and that multiple girls have it for me."

Nick: "Oh... Well... Um... Crap."

Jaune: "Yeah, 'crap'."

-Taiyang mentioned his mother in one episode of RWBY Chibi, and that's good enough for me to have Grandma Xiao-Long come and visit! Her being a badass martial artist who is also a single mom might be fun.

-Jack Arc comes to Beacon with Cinder's team. Jaune's reaction to his long lost twin brother being found would be awesome. Write it out!

-Blake gets confronted on her racism by... Sun and Velvet?

Blake: "I'm not racist. Only humans and maybe some Faunus are racist! Especially non-cat Faunus! You should be grateful we're ruling over you!"

-More ideas for the Vytal Festival Reunion!

-Jaune gets grabbed by someone and the assumption is that he's been kidnapped! In truth he got grabbed by a relative to train the hell out of him. Who is it?

Here's an idea i've had floating about my noggin':
Beac(n has a lot of staff that goes unnoticed, including its Armsmaster: Caroline 'Carol' Frees, Shop class teacher and Engineer. Technically she is a civilian but was recruited into Beacon when Ozpin took on her debt after she built an Assault Battlemech (and snagged her mad genius before Salem did). Some snippets of her to come as soon as time allows.

(I wanted to add some proper 'Mechs into this mess and this is how i figured i would)

The Justice League Crossover Disappointment
Okay, one of the biggest disappointments of the JL/RWBY crossover... Among many of them... Was this thing. Which I am now correcting.

Diana sidles up to Bruce's side with a smile.

"So, Bruce... We're teenagers again."

Bruce slowly nods.

"I am aware."

"In a world without any of our usual issues," Diana continued, resting a hand on his broad chest. Bruce's lip twitched.

"So it would seem."

"And it's not like that one time when were were prepubescent fighting against Morgana's son."

"No. Well, sort of-"

Diana promptly ties Bruce up in her golden lasso, and carries him off over her shoulder with a smile on her face and a song in her heart.

"I'm not entirely opposed to this," Bruce grunted as Diana carried him off into a dormroom and kicked the door shut behind her.

Everyone else stared after them. Pyrrha sighed.

"Why didn't I think of that?"

"Same," Nora mumbled.

The trick is that even if he won't admit it, Bruce is swimming in all those teenage hormones again. Plus the fact that Remnant only has
non-sentient tar monsters and one immortal evil witch as the main threat, this is probably the most relaxing "Crisis" event he's ever had.

Oh yeah, Diana would make extra sure of that.

Retirement in Radian
Very nice, let's continue! I'll expand on at least my thought processes.

Mordred, I felt, would be one of the few that would genuinely go all-in on becoming a Hunter. I use Hunter as a nod to Mordred's aversion to being called a girl. In this case, Mordred doesn't think a distinction of titles between men and women in the Hunting business is needed. "You're either a Hunter or you're not. Why split hairs over what's between my legs?" About halfway through my post, though, and I realized everyone my be aged-up to fit their roles as Jaune's great-grand uncles and aunts. Not that age seems too much of an issue, but I thought I'd give a possibly more "mellow" and older Mordred a job that could still get rowdy, while also paying a nod to her being a... butler/doorman in BB's Summer Event in FGO like I did with Lancelot. So, bartender/tavern owner.

Bedivere: I was stumped with Bedi-boy here, and coopted out. He was the Steward of Camelot, so I made him a notary. Maybe he works with Agravain in helping the administration of Radian. I can also Bedivere and Agravain opening a law practice together, going about their cases in opposing but valid and successful ways. Bedivere in a way that emphasizes the spirit of the law and appealing to a person's better nature.

Gareth was another I wasn't too sure on, but after some digging found she held Lancelot up as an ideal to strive for, among other things. So yeah, lifeguard as well. Helps that at least based on images, this is essentially her Summer Form.

Perceval I also had to research. Besides his quest with Galahad and Bors that led them to the Holy Grail, Perceval was also noted as someone that all the other Knights trusted the most. Gawain is name-dropped specifically. Perceval was also noted to give out huge portions of food. With that in mind, Perceval and Gawain opened a restaurant and farm/ranch. Gawain mostly handles the farm and ranch, while Perceval focuses mostly on the restaurant. The place is known for its large portions, and making sure you don't leave hungry. Perceval tries to keep Gawain out of the kitchen, but isn't always successful.

Agravain, I figured, almost immediately as part of Radian's administration. But after a bit, realized he might not care for any administration that doesn't have Artoria at it's head. So he and Bedivere go into law. They may or may not be "rival" firms. "Rival" in the sense that they have opposing methods, and occasionally butt heads in court. Agravain would focus more on the letter of the law, and weeding out those that try to corrupt or take advantage of the system. He's very by the book, cold, and rather intimidating, but no one doubts he can get results. I like to imagine that both Agravain AND Bedivere work a lot on Faunus cases, exposing corruption and fighting for equal rights, but at the same time not shying away from those cases that genuinely find the Faunus at fault.

I kinda already went into Mash's pursuits in my last post, but I'll reiterate them here. I first wanted to put her into a researcher role, nodding to her time at Chaldea after her depowerment. But I realized that one of the more defining parts of Mash's character was learning and experiencing what it meant to be human, and the wonders she discovered. Also nodding to her inheritance of Galahad, I figured she'd travel as something as a knight-errant/Hunter, keeping a journal and pictures of her travels and experiences. After some goading by her close friend, she shares her thoughts and words on the CCT forums. She's gathered a following of fans, and minor celebrity, and has started a book series about a band of heroes traveling through time to save Remnant. To build on Guikoi's idea, Lancelot and Guinevere adopted her after the tragic deaths of her parents, Dr. Roman Archaman and Dr. Lisa Vinchi.

Galahad... I didn't really try for him. He's a pretty divisive character for one we don't actually know a whole lot about. I'd also think he'd travel, but more for the fact that with the rest of the Round Table Knights in Radian, he doesn't feel a need to stay to defend it. He's also someone I'd see as a Hunter, both as a young or old man, defending those whom can't defend themselves. He would stay for as long as he's needed before moving on. I also imagine he's well known in Mistral as the "Bandit Hunter," not because he's a Hunter that resorted to banditry like so many, but that he takes absolute umbrage at those that have and pursues them mercilessly.

Merlin, I imagine, as someone with a large and varied set of skills. He's a skilled blacksmith, a capable advisor and administrator, a tech wiz, etc. And while he COULD pursue any of those things as a career, he'd rather just drink at the bar, tell and listen to stories, and charm the ladies.

Next though, what about Morgan and, for fun, the Tam Lins?

Who is it?

-Nick just gives Jaune a book called the karma sutra and tell him best of luck.

-Grandma Xiao-Long is disappointed in Yang, Yang has a tall, handsome and virial male in arms reach and she has not claimed him and added to the family!? the youth of today! Grandma decides to help Yang continue the bloodline, meanwhile Jaune senses he is in danger.

-I don't like the whole Jack Arc thing so skipping this.

-Blake just keeps getting more and more racist as time goes by, it gets to a point that even Adam is getting concerned.

-Jaune relatives is clearly uncle Goku and uncle Vegeta, they are upset that he's not training enough so they are staging an intervention and need to make up for lost time.

Anyway. We've had a lot of Family for Jaune. How about Childhood Friends?

For instance, what if one of his childhood friends was a certain gamer/mecha pilot?

D.Va, aka Hana Song

For some reason I find Jaune x Hana quite adorable. You should do one where Jaune and Hana end up playing some games and surprise everyone with the high level they're playing at. His friends also join in but end up getting absolutely crushed by both of them.

a beautiful brunette woman
Weiss: quietly "That woman has had eight children?! And she looks... Like that?!"

What does Tifa look like for Weiss to be reacting like that? Still rocking the white tank top and short skirt?

Jaune: "How could you be RoseScythe?! You insulted my mom, my dad, and my lesbian sister!"

Homophobic Ruby is a go...?

the biggest disappointments of the JL/RWBY crossover...

My biggest disappointment is how Diana was designed. Pyrrha looks more "Wonder Woman" than her!

😩

Blake Isn't a Racist!
Loud arguments in the RWBY dorm were usually a good sign that Jaune should just mind his own business. He'd learned that the hard way when it came to his sisters.

However, it was getting so distracting that Pyrrha's photogenic smile was straining, Ren's eyebrow was twitching, and Nora was reaching for her hammer more often. So Jaune decided, as team leader, he would at least inquire about the disturbance to prevent anyone from getting murdered.

He was conscientious like that.

He entered RWBY's common room, seeing Blake, Weiss, and Velvet Scarlatina in a large argument. Yang and Ruby were off to the side, just watching in silent horror and exasperation.

"And I'm saying you're wrong, Weiss!"

"HOW AM I WRONG?!"

"BECAUSE I'M NOT A RACIST!" Blake declared.

"YOU ABSOLUTELY ARE!" Velvet growled.

Blake sniffed.

"Says the girl who likes her human boyfriend to tug on her ears!"

"THAT'S BETWEEN ME AND HIM!" Velvet cried, her face going bright red. "YOU CAN'T KINKSHAME ME!"

"I TOTALLY CAN!"

"LADIES!" Jaune shouted. Ruby look gratefully towards him.

"Jaune! Thank the Gods, this is just getting out of hand!"

"It is NOT!" Weiss declared. "At least it's not MY fault it's gotten so ridiculous! It's Blake's!"

"It is not!" Blake growled, "Because I'm not a racist! Oppressed minorities can't be racist!"

"Oh really?" Velvet sniffed. She looked to Jaune. "Jaune? I want your unbiased opinion!"

"Uh, sure?" Jaune managed. Velvet narrowed her eyes.

"Do you think that rabbit girls are sexier than cat girls?"

Jaune blinked. He looked between the scowling Blake and Velvet, and to the glaring Weiss. Finding no help there, he looked over at Ruby and Yang. Ruby was cringing, and Yang was determinedly looking at a magazine.

"Er... I mean... I guess it depends on the girl?" He offered.

"Please!" Blake sniffed. "Cat Faunus are clearly sexier. All this human media is about cat faunus girls! All of this porn is about us! And why shouldn't it be? We're cats! We rule over all other Faunus sub-types because we're superior!"

"HOW IS THAT NOT RACIST?!" Weiss demanded.

"It's not racist if it's a fact!"

"It is NOT a fact!" Velvet argued. "I was able to turn a racist like Cardin into the sweetest honey of a boyfriend ever!"

"That's got nothing to do with your race and everything to do with you being weak to tsunderes!" Blake huffed. "Which is another rabbit Faunus trait! You're weak and you like to be dominated! Like all herbivores!"

"THAT'S SUPER RACIST!" Weiss cried in exasperated rage.

"IT IS NOT! All herbivore Faunus are more easily led around and more easily oppressed than the stronger willed carnivores!"

"What about Adam Taurus? He's a bull Faunus, isn't he? Yet he's also a violent psychopath terrorist?" Weiss pointed out sarcastically.

"That's bull Faunus, that's different!" Blake insisted.

"HOW IS THAT DIFFERENT?!" Velvet demanded.

Yang and Ruby snuck over to the door. Jaune held it open for them and closed the door behind them. All three sighed in relief.

"Wanna go get ice cream?" Jaune asked.

"Yes please!" Both sisters insisted.

in regards to the "not a kidnapping, but actually training time", those who write this can use Boomer Shooter Protagonists, like William Blazovitz(who is either related distantly or honorary uncle), Build Engine Protagonists like Duke Nukem and Lo Wang, and then other people like Ranger from Quake, Doom guy, Gordon Freeman(who could be one of the few Mountain Glenn survivors that fought his way through via stress induced Aura unlocking), Grayson Hunt From Bulletstorm, and all of them can offer some Training from Hell, but Jaune gets to not only have his Aura unlocked and learns some techniques to use Aura with, not only wield Crocea Mors with greater mastery(and with the Aura techniques, the Shield/Sheath is used to allow for better punching/smacking, sheath mode can be used for parrying melee, shield for parrying ranged stuff, really becomes creative with that), not only does Jaune appreciate various types of guns and to always have them close, but a more competent Jaune is still a kind guy with some teeth now.

Que lots of shenanigans. Also, Jaune could call his Family after he passes Initiation.

Next though, what about Morgan and, for fun, the Tam Lins?
Not so sure on these, but it's at least somewhere to start.

Well, she could be something like a magic user. Possibly thanks to her semblence, and effectively runs a neighborhood in Radian semi autonomously. Maybe one more on the fringes that can't be covered by the normal defenses as readily. Effectively styles herself as a witch as well as fairy and queen. Doesn't take too strong of a hand in how things are run beyond making sure the defenses are good, and squabbling between representatives doesn't get out of hand. Seems aloof most of the time to most people, but just tired from everything she does to keep things running as well as her own personal work with experimenting or crafting all manner of tools.

With the Tam Lin acting as her versions of the regular knights.

Barghest being the most normal of the lot, a big strong warrior lady who in the field is easily comparable to Gawain. And possibly being called the Gawain of her group because she was mistaken as him a few times, or matched him in fighting and surpassing him in cooking. Yet off the field has very little luck with finding a significant other, not helped by her semblence making her have a rather hound like berserker state she can pull out if needs be that occasionally leaks out at home.

Melusine meanwhile would be Lancelot's adopted sister, his much younger adopted sister. She's equally capable as him, but is not as good about romance because she can be over protective/controlling of the people she's dated. Considered the best/most powerful of the Tam Lin thanks to how readily she goes into battle to protect various groups of people, and blast away any large groups of grimm she can. Occasionally spends too much with a lady aurora, a known narcissist who at least is tolerable to Melusine some of the time to her face. Even if she keeps trying to ruin any form of Melusine's beauty by throwing the fairy knight at anything that should be beyond her.

And Baobahn Sith is Morgan's adopted daughter, who went through some serious stuff at one point. So she tries to hide the sweet girl she is who just wants to help others with the more...vicious, personality most know her by. Only called Tam Lin/Fairy Knight Tristan because she's a very good archer and was feeling violently left out by the two main warriors in her mother's service having such a title, calmed down again noticeably once she'd also been counted among their ranks. Has a lot of issues, and Morgan isn't sure what to do to help her adopted daughter or keep her from being so self destructive.

Mash is also considered the Tam Lin/Fairy Knight Galahad because of a period of time where she tried to do what she could to stay away from her birth father(Galahad), couldn't stay with Dr.Romani, and hadn't come around with trying to have a decent relationship with Lancelot to try and spite her father yet. More of an honorary title at this point, but she and her two significant others(both Fujimuras, no reason to not just go with both considering many of the other snippets here) were married by Morgan entirely because the so called witch was willing to help bank roll most of the ceremony and honey moon because she does try to treat her knights well.

Habetrot, Morgan's possibly best friend. For the most part tries to play peacemaker when issues show up with the various Tam Lin/Fairy Knights when she's not being a tailor, also tries to play matchmaker. Her only success among the hunters/knights in recent years has been Mash. Very frustrated at how much trouble Barghest and Melusine are in dating, even if she's glad Morgan has cracked a few smiles at her complaining about the trouble those two can be in dating. Also occasionally helps Moran test out her various weapon experiments, it's the main reason she basically carries a version of the black barrel.
