Site running abnormally slow

South-east Asian here.

When using PC, on Firefox, I experience longer wait time for pics to load recently.
I never get gray blank screens, but I sometimes get Firefox reload page, but that is simply because of provider and occur often enough for years that I don't see that as a new thing.

When using Android phone, on Firefox, recently the loading bar keeps stalling at 75%ish and the page got cut off.
I also regularly get gray blank screens and Firefox reload page, but that similarly have been happening over the years because of shit provider and wi-fi.

EDIT: Additional data, I don't get these new lags all the time nor very often, just often enough to be worried.

Point in case, I am opening stuff normally in Android phone now and not seeing the loading bar stuck at 75%ish right now.

Every time I open a new page or click a link, it's a gamble of how loading will progress, or if it will finish at all.

My current strategy for browsing QQ is to spam open five new tabs at the same time, and usually at lease one will complete loading in a second, while the rest hang.
 
I see I'm not the only one having this issue. Bandwidth problems, maybe?

[Datapoint] Mobile, Chrome : Site white-loads (browser displays site loading as complete, but no content is actually fetched until refreshed. This includes text, images, links, etc. Basically, need to double-tap site nav)

Australian here. Happening to me too on mobile, Chrome browser. White loads occasionally, which sucks as when I refresh it loses where I was up to, but mostly it's just really slow. I read long fics on reader mode, and it can take most of a full minute to load a full fic. Also pictures load really slowly (an image can take a minute or two to load, if it decides not to stop part way through the image).
 
Seems to be getting slower now. Pages loading in pieces and took an hour to jump to a specific Post when I went from the Quote Thread but that was the longest. There was a minor time a few hours ago where it outright disconnected from it taking too long. Phone is doing moderately better but it is still occasionally happening.

I have been dealing with blank pages requieing a refresh for a while, yesterday the picture loading time got ridiculous. It can now take minutes.
I'm on avChrome and mobile.
 
Was having some slow loading for the whole website, is mostly solved but the pics still don't load properly, I'm lucky if they do load. Neither mobile nor pc, multiple browsers at that.
 
I have to also say that im running into issues with the site being slow it was fine for most of the the week but yesterday i started to experiance slow down on the site with it some time taking 5-10 seconds to open a thread sometime and other it opens fine but when i scroll down only have the page i loaded and i have to wait for the rest of the page to load so i can scroll down and see the new comments also it seems like the pics are also being affected since some loaded just fine after clicking on the spoiler tag hiding them and other time when i click on them they take forever to load or i have to refresh the page to see them.
 
I have been suffering the same slow loading issues for weeks now. Firefox browser, with no issues prior to the timeframe that everyone else started having issues.
 
Datapoints: 22-Dec-2025, 9:01 AM (GMT+7), South-east Asia, no VPN.
PC: Firefox, no lag, image opens quickly.
Phone: Firefox, 3 seconds load, image opens quickly.
Members online: 4,897 members, 3,671 guests

Noting this because last night it was a hassle to open site from PC and phone, and images take about a minute or two to open.
 
I've just tweaked some settings on the server that may help with the loading issues. People who have been seeing this problem, please let me know what it looks like now.
 
Better but still not great. Images don't take a full minute to load now, but it's still noticably slower than it used to be
 
Firefox Mobile on Android
Images are loading within a few seconds now
Pages load within a second or two.

Prior to changes images would take 15-20 seconds.

Running much smoother now. Down to like a three-second delay when it hangs.

Site is loading faster, but weirdly loads in layers now. Pictures are still all over the place on load times though. Spoiler pictures are still especially bad at loading if they have any issues.
 
It seems to be working better now for me the loading dosn't seem to take as long about 3-5 secs in hang time depending on how long it wants to take a pics are still all over the place for loading time since some load insintly and other reqiure me to refresh to have them load since they take so long they fail to load

Iv been getting it for the last few months.
Mainly safari - IOS

It appears to directly correspond to how many pictures a page has possibly including spoilered ones.

I haven't checked does QQ self host images or use an external provider?
