Yeah wow. Nice job. Looks like the new politics thread is an excuse to start trimming undesirables and soothing the aches and pains of the eternally anally annihilated.


I called Emperor Tippy getting banned months ago. And I am not surprised at what the new politics thread became. I guess a certain clique on certain other sites began bothering you about their ravished behinds regarding unbanned and barely moderated speech. That or you just got plain embarrassed.

Im calling it now. Right fucking now. Within a single year, there will be a noticeable shift even on the prime content production subfora, and within five years this place will end up so vanilla its raison d'être will have vanished.

Me banning the subject of politics from this forum.

This forum was created as a place for people to create stories and quests in an environment that didn't have a puritanical bent to it, like SB does. It was meant to be a place of lewdz and fun.

Instead, it's become infested with fucking politics.

But Vashon, you're quite wrong on what is going on. Right now, those are just temp bans because frankly, oru usual offenders apparently do not get what we ask of them.

It SHOULD be simple. It really fucking shouldn't be an issue to simply discuss this politely. But we have people simply not getting the message.

And now, we're VERY sick of it. Politics became the main source of reports alone.

If that is what you feel you need to do, so be it. I, at least, would rather have politics become a verboten topic, than to have to constantly look over my shoulder worrying about whether or not my next post is going to offend someone.

And in this latest case, it is partially YOUR fault for being deliberately obtuse and biased. CNN hasnt been any better than BreitBart for over a year, and for the last few months Alex Fucking Jones has been a more reliable source of truthful information. I dont post all of the fouls things I do just for fun. I am desperately trying to communicate a dire warning. But a real one.

My advice? Nuke the discussion forums. Entirely. All of it. Rants, general, nsfw, gone. Or it will take over the culture of the board and attention of the staff.

Long term SB member and denizen of other forums. Very intelligent and creative, a boon to any forum who hosts him. Is reasonably decent at debating and discussing. God tier by vs debates standards. Prefers to use reasoning and deduction over tube clips and pics, leading to blocks of text. Loves wanking magic anything. But hes always a fun read, unlike solipsist Connor McDerp who is ashamed of his old 40k work.

I been hypothetically getting set up so once my got into a splash, the mods could say I been wet the whole time.

There might be some Merit to what Vashon is saying.

At this point, I'm fairly certain I can consider this forum is a wash. This community is not worth having to deal with authoritarian moderators.

I had this talk on Discord with another member here. There should be quotas for being allowed on the offboardtopic subforums. And a big one. A 10 to one ration, say 100 or 1000 posts/likes total before you can be approved. And always temporary.

I would be all but banned, but shits like merino, Lord Squishy, and many others would never have flourished on SB/SV eith such a rule.


That or nuke it. I should never have been allowed to jump right in to the offtopic. No one should be.

Lock the whole thing for a while. Or fucking nuke it.

But dont pretend Robo shouldnt have banned banner on him too. Alathon was right. Breitbart is above standard now, thanks to the rest sinking so fucking low.

You are forgetting one tiny little fact here.

The sources I don't care wher they're from. If you can only discuss like a child, you'll be treated as one. Those sad events? Yes, you can condemn, but that doesn't mean you get to go into profanities about it.

You see, you forgot the fact that talking politics here is a PRIVILEGE. NOT a basic right.

Like driving a cars, there are rules you're expected to follow. We give some leniency at times, but if you clearly break rules, there are penalties. What happen when you break too many rules whiel driving? You lose your privilege. When that happen, you can only blame yourself and your unrepentant attitude.

And now, because of people like you, we now must consider simply banning politics because we start to doubt if it's worth the effort to allow that privilege.

Despite what some may think (this concerns you, Terthna), we mod staff don't care about political leanings. We tried letting it in Rants: You guys went nuts. We removed it from Rants and said enough, politeness is enforced? That didn't even last a week before you guys kept going as usual.

We're just basically sick of your shit and having to deal with it.
