That'll be voted for, along with what you're best at. I won't be using the whole Exalted system though. It'll be more along the lines of Deus Ex's, with some extra skills.

Because there's actual rules for mechanical augmentations in Exalted, and one of them (Bioenhancement Thaumaturgy) is universally-compatible with all forms of Exaltations.

As you hop out of the black helicopter and onto the dock on Liberty Island, you look up at where the Statue of Liberty once stood, a reminder of why you do what you do. Your boss' words echo through your head. "Of course they're desperate, and the sound they make rattling their cage will serve as a warning to the rest."

Luckily, dealing with manufacturing and distributing Ambroisia, the cure and vaccine to the plague running rampant through the underprivileged and undesirables of the world. Your armored coat whips around you in the wind as the helicopter ascends again, and you make your way to the entrance of the city.


A robot stands guard beside it, but after a brief flicker of red light scanning across your face, it steps aside, allowing you to go join the guard posted there. "I'm from UNATCO, and I'm here to deal with the terrorists." You tell the young man stationed there.

He nods enthusiastically. "Sure thing. Do me a favor and- Sir!"

Your jacket isn't just for style and hiding the telltale paleness of your skin, it also has more pockets than you know what to do with. Honestly, you have no idea how you could possibly fill this many pockets.

There are a total of [30] places to put things inside your jacket, which is truly a preposterous amount of things, even if some items need more than one space to fit. Most things tend to just take one space though.

Right now, you've got three things in there, a pistol with a full magazine, a sophisticated cattle prod, and a nanotech medkit.

You're not especially skilled with your cattle pr- riot prod, but you're better than almost any of the other agents are with small arms. When you use a pistol only the other augmented agents can even come close to the kind of accuracy you can manage. You prefer not to use force if you don't have to, though, so you tend to stick with the prod.

Paul though . . . Your brother may have influenced how you've handled operations in the past. Paul Denton doesn't like killing people.

Speaking of your brother, you check the clock in the lower part of the HUD displayed on the inside of your sunglasses. He was supposed to meet you here a few minutes ago. What could have-

"Um. Sir." One of the UNATCO grunts manning the guard pos. "I hate to, uh, interupt you, but you've kind of been staring at the wall for about three minutes now, and we've gotten a distress signal from Agent Gunther."

Agent Gunther is one of your coworkers, another of UNATCO's augmented anti-terrorism agents, though his augmentation is a drastically different sort than your almost magical biological enhancements. He's a hulking brute of a man, and anything that could neutralize him deserves your full and undivided attention.

". . . Sir?"

"I'm listening, trooper." You say. "What happened? He was supposed to wait for Paul and me."

"Agent Gunther went in the front door half an hour ago, said he couldn't wait any longer and risk the terrorists' leader getting away. The bastard's holed up at the top of the pedestal, you see."

He hands you a map, and you have a look.

You're on the southern dock of Liberty Island, and the pedestal is in the center-right area.

Should you rescue Gunther, or wait for Paul to show up? It isn't like him to be late, but you were supposed to be working with Gunther. Maybe you should check it out? You're certain that his normal partner, Anna Navarre, would probably appreciate it if you gave him a hand. Of course, she's one of the many in UNATCO who think that you're too soft on the terrorists . . .

I'm kinda ridiculously sad that SB didn't go for the "Oh I have a plasma mine in my pocket however did that get there?" option. That just asks for future shenanigans.
