After editing, I had tags multiply like so and basically eat a good chunk of the post due to it increasing it beyond the text/character count:
160% (or more) of Target : Critical Success / Things go horribly, horribly right. (Indigo)
Success is relative to the target number. If the task is Dangerous (DC=100):
40 = Critical Failure
85 = Absolute Failure
99 = Near Success
100 = Barely Success
115 = Success
160 = Critical Success
Actions & Time Management
1 Day = Most Small Actions, Smallest Time Unit
7 Days = 1 Week, Most major local actions that don't involve Construction/Creation.
12-18 Days = Short Distance Raiding/Trading (6 Hexes)
20-30 Days = Medium Distance Raiding/Trading (12 Hexes), Major actions that involve Creation. (i.e. Magic items)
35-60 Days = Long Distance Raiding/Trading (Anywhere beyond 12 Hexes), Major actions that involve Construction. (i.e. Building a fortress)
Small actions such as learning a spell or engaging in trade consume a set amount of time. These actions are almost always going to be set to 1 Day for simplicity of bookkeeping.
Larger actions will have a variable length of time within a range. For instance, raiding the Amazonian coast would be 12 - 18 days depending on how well you roll and how lucky you are. You'd spend 6 days going to/from the target and up to 6 days finding a place to raid, correcting courses for storms, etc.
If you own "assets" that are not under your direct command (such as say a Farm or a Factoring business) they will be rated in yield per month (30 day period).
Long actions (such as Construction) might continue in the background while other character actions occur.
