The Council's Road, Not Taken (Kaguya-sama/Oregairu Spinoff)

*whistles*

I sure do hope that ZeroXSEED doesn't just make all that club creating and managing easy for Hachiman.

Shuchiin Academy is an elite private academy right?

One who is attended by all those elite folks of Japanese society right?

Let the majority experience the pain and hardships of administrating a club in which there may or may not be any students be interested in!

I mean, they chose it.

Do they really think that starting a club with only 3 members will be that easy?

*awkward look at Tabletop club*

The importance of clubs are understated, but so does the difficulty of it's creation. Shuchiin had so many clubs that it's hard to list them all. Shuchiin deliberately gave way more freedom in club creation because it keeps extremely important, elite students more or less contained at school. Relevant chapter in the manga shed more view on this.

Shuchiin more or less encourage students to go all out in creating clubs.

No, the hard problem isn't club creation.

It's fighting for club budget.

So in the end, nothing changed and it was all pointless anyways. Huzzah~!

If joining the mass media club was too social - why would you guys vote for eavesdropping into their gossip? It's none of his concern IC

I'm pretty sure the motif involved wasn't so much as Hachiman being anti-social (fuck no he isn't, especially in this crossover) but between seething hatred for gossips (reasonable) and guns are cool (also reasonable).

Also, unless people misunderstand, the girls are explicitly talking RIGHT behind him(you) in this case. It's not so much eavesdroping as you're being buzzed around.

[X] Ignore

Being unobtrusive and avoiding the girls' conversations is definitely one of our 108 Skills... Remember, those girls are obsessive fangirls and ship-trash. Getting roped into their conversation is an exercise in madness and will wither away our precious sanity. We must use our 108 Skills to studiously ignore their mindbogglingly inane gossip!

I do hope you don't make that easy for Hachiman then.

I hate it when things always go the way the MC wants to.

There needs to be consequences with this discision!

Hachiman created his own club and now he needs to pay the consequences that comes with one!

It's more realistic anyway.

It's really on the players anyway. If they don't want to fight for it, then it's their choice.

But you need more members before you get to that stage.

Well yeah, making a club with small amount of members and shoestring budget is a consequence. Remember, Shuchiin social cred also reliant on what club you're part of.

At this point of creation, Survival club will be considered barely better than the losers in Tabletop club.

Its Hachiman. He can't help it, he's a True Detective.

He's certainly become one of the more interesting students in the school to the girls in the Journalism Class.
I wonder what his other classes are like.
Also, for some reason Hachiman studying Journalism (which I personally see as being an ideal career for Yuigahama Yui) makes me think of Hunter S Thompson.

Shouldn't Stealk Hikky be able to negate that suspicion? At the very least he should be able to properly eavesdrop without drawing attention.
