I use them to have a better overview of the thread instead of having to scroll through every post. I hadn't considered that they would significantly affect the visible text.Wait why are you spoilering the chapters?
It's making the text a lot smaller on my end, very hard to read for me at least.
Thanks, on PC it's fine, but on phone, it goes from like pt14, ro pt 10 or 11, which is pretty small. I dunno, you're the author, up to you, thanks for the alt though, might use that in future.
Yeah, but the threadmark only takes you to the start of a chapter, then you need to manually scroll to the end, say if you wanted to check the comments, which isn't a big hassle, but it's tedious after a bit.
What the Force? I didn't know that, I thought it just messed witht he width of the readable surface. Then I very much understand your troubles. Thanks, on PC it's fine, but on phone, it goes from like pt14, ro pt 10 or 11, which is pretty small. They do but you kind of need to jump between threadmarks so if you look for a chain of comments between two chapters for example it gets a bit messy.Pretty sure threadmarks might help with that issue? Doesn't that already organise the story? Idk, never created threads here before

Also, some authors create chapters over 10k words, which is quite a bit of scrolling, you might notice that some authors put a little thing at the end of their chapters, it's partly a signature, but also makes it easy to skip to the comments.

Thanks for bringing the issues up. I don't know how things work here but on another forum it was suggested that spoilering chapters would give a false impression of the word count and mess with notifications for watchers. In the interest of avoiding everything like that maybe unspoilered chapters is the best option, if I can just find a way to make a hopefully growing thread navigable for myself.
I imagine that Vex is trusting in his craft's durability to contain the dangerous cargo and the distress call and sighting of droids in the very heart of coruscant got even this steady veteran unhinged. Scalwena wasn't kidding when she claimed to know what would make clone troopers tick.Speaking as someone who's familiar with fight ops if not prisoner transport, the whole change fight plan bit and Vex's response to it makes a disturbing amount of sense. Updates to routing are very common and can be for anything from weather, to other aircraft declaring an emergency, to just making sure two craft don't hit each other. So him not immediately discarding the new route and seeking confirmation makes a lot of sense. Hell, him double checking the new routing with higher headquarters is very good decision making, as not complying with ATC instructions without a very good reason is a good way to get flight violated. Dispatching all the escorting fighters makes less sense, but heat of the moment snap decision making is a lot different then making a decision when you're safe on deck and not flying through the air at a couple hundred knots.
OK, rambling a little off course here probably, but this comment is just such a hugely interesting discussion point.
Vex was too distracted to devote enough attention to question his new assigned path.
- about Barriss and the weirdo bounty hunters? A hundred times, Aunt 'Soka. And I still think you made that up.
