• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

The Rules of Engagement (Prototype x MCU)

I'd happily continue the quest here even with the low player count because it's fun and low stress, but it appears that the decision is being taken out of my hands: my internet is slowly but almost assuredly glitching whenever I go here and I have to disconnect/reconnect multiple times after getting on QQ. This, no doubt, has to do with where I'm accessing the site as it's prooobably not kosher.

Options:
  • I restart the quest from the beginning on SV or SB. I don't really wanna, but it's still an option.
  • I just post all the updates onto SV or SB and continue from there.
  • Similarly to the above, I post a recap of everything we did as Post 1 and continue from there.
  • I go somewhere else completely - like Bay12 forums.
Chime in, please.

I've never even heard of Bay 12, but I'm on both SB & SV.

You could do option 2 on either, so long as you mention that it was moved (do not link to this site though).

Option 3 could also work, though it would require more work on your part. Though people would probably bug you about where they can find the full thread.

I agree with your stance on option 1, sounds like an interest killer.

I never heard of bay12.

I don't like option 3, it seems like a worse version of option 2.

Since you do not like option 1, then go for 2. Just repost the entire thing to SB or SV.

To clarify on what subsider34 said. Do long link to QQ from those other sites, since QQ as a site hosts porn which they forbid.
However, DO link to SV or SB thread from here in this thread.

Just get here and the few posts of this quest that you posted here were fun to read. You can choose whatever forum is less glitchy for you, just post a link here when you choose

[x] Close Quarters Combat II - The ability to take and give out hits. At this level it's more or less untutored brawling, but at least you're somewhat experienced and know how to avoid the usual tricks.
[x] The Joisey Black Market I - You are aware of the New Jersey underground and while not keenly enough to navigate its currents, you're good enough to know who knows how to get in.
[x] Knife Fighting III - When you prick someone, they'll bleed. At this level, you're good enough to be able to defend yourself from a knife attack even if you weren't a viral abomination.

[x] Find and get to the nearest ranch, at night sneak in and consume livestock.

[x] Train (using XP and biomass)
-[x] Consumption III

[x] Investigate
-[x] Organized crime
-[x] Talking to people in the black market.
