The way I see it, Taylor only really did that PR stuff to please those that held her leash. In hell however, there is little point to this as it is a waste of time generally, and it actively damages your public reputation.
Her avoiding being killed there despite a sniper having an easy bead on here is me attempting to show that despite losing a bunch of her power she is still both smart and experienced enough to prevent herself from getting sniped. I actually had a bunch of notes on what would happen and even an idea of the scene I wanted for the next chapter if the caliber of rifle Snipes had was higher and Skitter's plan to save herself didn't work.
It definitely is happening before that because that's the conceit of the story.
I will probably make a lewd of that happening though, kind of a side story thing. Maybe have her and Angel work together on a porno set or something.

She will likely also have to deal with Valentino's friends and the encroachment on her territory by gangs and other overlords. The only one that she will likely not have to worry about is Lucy and Lilith since they are off doing their own thing.

Well sure, but that's why they're bad ends, and that's why their just side-stories. What if's to help remind us of what's good. I also think their interesting explorations of alternate routes, but I very much agree that they're generally both sad and depressing and shouldn't be part of the main story.
To be fair, considering how Angel worked out despite basically being a sex slave, Taylor would probably find a way out, either through acting as a spy for some other overlord or getting the backing of Charlie or something like that.

Definitely not a fully mind broken one of course but all one needs to do to be considered a sex slave is to be considered property, and for your primary slave duty to have something to do with sex. Have that and your basically a sex slave. Plus there are a bunch of ways of controlling people. Drugs, Mind control, coersion, force, mind control drugs from Colombia, induced nymphomania combined with chastity that they control the key too, rewards, pavlovian training over a long period of time etc...
