It is a topic of the novelI also do wonder how Aeromancy is passed down, from what I remeber it's a connection to another realm. So is that connection a blood thing? I mean that seems to be the case given that the noble houses are all about Concepts but I had kinda assumed it wasn't a biolgical link. I also wonder what a noble house with something less fancy like Paper would do. "Fear us we shall give you small painful cuts!"
Wrong spelling.
Unfortunate that. The SFW part of QQ has very few readers. Before anyone asks, the story itself has no smut, hence being in the SFW section. However, I am open to potentially writing NSFW omake if there is interest.
Yes, they are related. Both are descendants of a specially bred servitor race whose original owners got wiped out a hundred or so years ago.So, obvious question- any relationship between House Alsace's Brutus and Polyhistor's Muhammad Bahl? Or is that third eye just a somewhat common expression of precognition magic?
She gave him up without fighting for him. As far as he is concerned, she is dead.
They are pretty common. Heirs do not marry out, people marry in. In this sense, the gender roles are not really important. One person will be marrying into the house of the other. (Some houses are explicitly Agnatic Primogeniture, so men will marry in, a rare few are Enatic, meaning only woman can rule and women never marry in. Most are gender neutral in the sense that the heir is the heir, whatever gender roles exist).Definitely curious how rarely marriage-mediated alliances happen, and how well they usually work out if so? It doesn't sound like heirs marry and thereby join their Houses, which would make sense if having a particular aeromancy concept is central to House identity. But inter-House marriages seem like a fraught affair, either way.
Chess is that game.Obviously for an heir especially, games are secondary to being powerful and canny in politics, among other practical pursuits. But in the Poly world, are there board games designed for enhanced people that have become their version of a staple like chess?
No. The Geo Division is all about frivolous pursuits that can display superiority. Hydromancy is the one that shuns them.Maybe that's more a Hydromancy division thing, or maybe just too frivolous a pursuit considering the power-oriented mindset most highly-enhanced people necessarily have here.
She is a twelve year old and at the end of the line of succession. She's not very duplicitous.Yes, this is good Diplo. Make them believe you're inoffensive Electra!
Oh god, she has managed to convince even you.She is a twelve year old and at the end of the line of succession. She's not very duplicitous.
Thank you. It is an intentionally self contained story, so knowledge of the world should be unnecessary, but you can learn more about (different parts of) the world in my quests Mole and Polyhistor Academy (both of which are NSFW).Personally I would have been suspicious that the rescue would be a ruse meant to trick him.
Also this has been excellent so far, I don't know anything about the world but what's been shown so far has been great.
