Video Games General

Sorry to barge in and start speaking about something else (nothing much to say about DWO yet since I'm barely past the first story mission), but I'm looking for infos to make a decision: what amount of memory size is really needed for mobile games like Fate, Kankole, etc...?

This may be late but hope this helps you.

Based on my experience after upgrading my phone for 2 years, you can future proof yourself by getting the highest memory available. I had a phone with 64 GB storage and that quickly got filled up due to apps increasing in size and also the bloat the phone brands put on the system.

You can also try to check the specifications of the phone youre looking for in GSMArena to give yourself an expectation on what to get. Although it is kind of hard for me to know what is a good phone gpu and cpu so I base it on reviews on the site. I myself went for a mid tier (in terms of performance) phone with the highest available internal storage and an sdcard slot.

So The Citadel has finally got its sequel released

Beyond Citadel is out now, and so far it's quickly becoming my favorite FPS franchise. Especially impressive since it's pretty much just one guy who made both of these games.

Gunplay is unique but quite fun once you get used to it, movement is smooth, the world is dark, cyberpunky and kinda surreal. Also, most of NPC's including the player character are sexy anime girls. The character's icon also makes an ahegao face when she runs out of stamina lol.

I think Gman Lives had the title on his review video of that be Waifustein: The New Colossus.

Ended up playing both while waiting for Ender Magnolia.

Not my usual genre, but I'm definitely keeping my eye on whatever the developer does next, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

There was a moment in the second game after one of the chapters wrapped up... those who've played it will know the moment. *Screaming*

I don't think a game has ever managed to make me so bloodlusted before, the gutpunch actually frazzled me.

I basically berserked the next chapter, and the boss was blitzed before it could do much of anything.

I just finished Ender Magnolia yesterday. Great game. A step up in terms of QoL, gameplay, combat, etc. compared to Ender Lilies. I will say that I felt Ender Lilies was a bit more focused and managed to coordinate everything to really nail the setting and feel it was going for, while Magnolia was a bit more scattered.

How was the story? I finished Ender Lilies like a month ago and have been wondering if it's worth getting.

Yeah with Lilies you had one overarching incident and villain, so everything got tied together into a single storyline.

Meanwhile Magnolia had a bunch of competing factions having their gambits blow up and a truly monumental miscommunication.
>Cain: "Gilroy is a Homunculus based on my own clone, he is surely an extension of my own thoughts and self."
>Cain: "I am scared that this will all fall apart and only the Frosts will survive it (Meaning: That they will be alone in a world wrecked by the Rain of Death.)"
>Gilroy: "I should wipe out the Frosts to prevent this apparent plot."
>Cain: "Trust nobody. (Meaning: My brother is acting strangely, keep an eye on him.)
>Gilroy: "I should cripple my sister meant to replace my blight shielding duties and do both that and my administrator job, I cannot trust other people with this." *Blight spreads though his administrative link*

Should probably have seen that coming given:
>Declan: *Homunculus-obsessed Weeb*
>His genderswapped Homunculus clone Louiseach: *Human-obsessed Westaboo (Witch model)*

Meanwhile the Abelia plot is basically someone with the same ambitions as the king of the first game realising that if the priestesses are natural vessels for souls then she can probably bodyjack one and extend her lifespan.

Story is fine? It doesn't reach the presentation that Lilies does, but it is fine. Some pacing issues was the worst part of it really for me. But honestly, gameplay alone makes it a worthy purchase. And then you add on another great soundtrack for a great time.

Just wrapped up Trails through Daybreak just in time for the next one to come out in two weeks. Overall not my favorite of the Trails games but a solid experience and a good story. Would recommend as a potential jumping-on point for anyone looking to get into the franchise.

Today I found out that some time ago, apparently, some mad lads though it would be a good idea to combine Touhou with AoE style of RTS.

This is the result of that, with a demo ready for those that join their discord, may Reimu helps us all.

warning: their trailer is very particular.

Touhou gets all kinds of crossovers. My favorite is "Artificial Dream in Arcadia" which is an old school SMT style cross over. Like, SMT If... and SMT 1 style mechanics. First person dungeon crawling and everything. It's the next best thing to the Etrian remakes as far as modern First Person Dungeon Crawlers go.

Wait, that Demo art.

They actually got Mitsuki Yuuya from that one comedy doujin series?

This is going to be great, there better be a mission where we blow up the Scarlet Devil Mansion, otherwise it ain't a true Touhou fanwork.

I don't quite get what part are y-
>gets to that part
...oh.

The worst part after finishing the game was that I missed some artwork on one of the early levels, so I replayed it to get the missing piece.

then I saw their ghosts

I change my mind, worst game ever.

The developer really knows how to make the player feel incandescent rage and the hollowness of loss. And twist the knife when you least expect it, like with replays.

It's especially sad because the very thing that saved the Organa from becoming just like the enemies you face (whomst, if you notice, are actually identical to them due to cloning), the inability to install cybernetics, also makes their loss hit harder because unlike your enemies, none of the Organa can be backed up and restored.

Their death is a true, irrecoverable death.

But at least they lived, which is more than what can be said of the eternal torment/defilement that is the hivemind.

Remember, the True Angels have planned around you acheiving victory, they want you to reach for the happy ending you have been denied.

Do not let them win.

World lore for those interested and not afraid of spoilers:
Demons are beings of absolute evil. ..So... if demons were to do good deeds, good deeds would become evil deeds...The world would be turned upside down..
Shame, self-hatred and hypocrisy are evil acts.
The 'Angels' before they acquired mechanical bodies, were ashamed of
their flesh. When they emerged from the depths of the earth, they covered their bodies with their garments and hid their faces with masks that resembled human faces.
The Machine Angels, who were not allowed to do good deeds because of their shady origin, chose to save people through 'hypocrisy'. They wanted their hypocrisy to become true good by destroying themselves
while their false good deeds were still good deeds.

I finally got around to finishing the demo for Khazan: The First Berserker. I do have to say, it is a wonderful quality of life feature to not only have your souls equivalent drop OUTSIDE the boss area when you die, but for you to also get a scaling amount of souls based off how much damage you did to said boss before dying. Those things alone make it a lot more engaging to actually keep trying against the boss fight to learn the pattern, since you are getting something tangible out of it and not losing anything.

I know Lies of P also does the "death drops appear right outside the boss arena" thing, but I don't think it does the other one.

Lies of P DLC news?! I can't believe it!
The new weapons look interesting. Once again, summer can't come soon enough.

Tides of Annihilation looks interesting at least but I'm gonna need to see more on it. Preferably a demo at some point.
