So is anyone does actually hope we will be getting Dragon's Dogma 2? I Actually am somewhat hopeful we might be getting a sequel since I remember hearing a rumor about the Devs having to choose between developing DD2 or DMC5.

10 minute announcement stream for Dragon's Dogma 2. No footage or anything about, except for a shirt with the logo on it. Has it air at the exact same time as the Final Fantasy stream, so no one watched it. Damn Capcom.
 


Out next Winter and a remake of Crisis Core, the PSP prologue staring Zack, is due this winter.
 
Stalcraft is not STALKER 2 but runs fine. I'm just not used to the simplified gameplay compared to the heavily modded Stalker Anomaly games that I do. Its funny though that somebody had the idea of combining Minecraft's blocky graphics with the Stalker universe. It will sure save them the time on the animations, and graphics.

World has different monsters, better graphics and some details in the mechanics are different (RNG decorations and crafted pendants instead of RNG pendants and craftable decorations, for one).

It also has way, way more mods, if you're on PC. Those range from gameplay tweaks, improved and customized models for weapons and armor, and all-new custom quests.

Personally, I prefer World over Rise. It's the older game and it isn't without flaws, but the extreme verticality of some stages combined with the easy-mode village quest nonsense turned me off of the game. Plus, World just looks better.
 
I just realized that Dying Light 2 is discounted on steam for $40, should I get it or should I wait until it gets better?

just tried and I got my first 5 star around $2300, but I while I don't know exactly how many gems you need to max out a build, I am 100% sure a single one isn't enough, so I kept going. the second at a surprising $2700. The third one, however took me until around 8k dollars. I decided to go for a fourth and... the slots kept spinning. And spinning. And spinning.

By the time it stopped and the fourth 5/5 gem dropped, it was the 10730th roll and it cost a total of $26825. almost 27 thousand dollars.

I have no words for this level of bullshit.

You need 6 gems to fill all your slots and then you need duplicates of those gems to level them up. And that's not even taking into account all the other gear. Suffice to say they went above and beyond to create the scummiest gacha system I've ever seen. It honestly feels like a conscious effort because there's no fucking way you out scumbag Fifa's gacha system on accident.

It's not my preferred genre but I'll whore myself for more 3Houses content no matter what. Just got to finish Verdant Wind this weekend before binging 3Hopes.
 
So for anyone who's still a Terminator fan, the game Terminator: Resistance is actually pretty fun. It's not a ten outta ten or anything but, it clearly had love put into it.
 
So I listened an analysis/commentary (5h) on MGS last night and he talked a bit about the translator of the game, which was interesting but I didn't look further into it, but then a discussion elsewhere just now made me think about it again and I looked into it, and he apparently wrote a article on it which was interesting.

I can understand why Kojima didn't like it, but I also understand why Blaustein did it, and it's kind of a mess honestly.
But this is the history that has, like a river, passed.
 


Major hilights:

  • The modern Persona trilogy (Persona 5: Royal, Persona 4: The Golden, and Persona 3 Portable) are all heading to the Switch with P5 out October 21st.
  • Yoko Taro's Wild Ride is crashing into Nintendo with Nier Automata: The End of YorHa Edition on October 6th
  • The Mega Man Battle Network series will be getting a full collection game for the Switch
  • Portal & Portal 2 are dropping on Switch this afternoon in the Companion Cube Collection
  • Return to Monkey Island will also receive a Switch port with the PC release later this year
  • Square Enix has a new IP, Harvestella that looks like a mix of Stardew Valley and the Tales series out in November.
