Um, Slippery Slope is not among the stories that are being voted on at the moment, but rather, among those that are nominally inactive but will be updated whenever the appropriate muse strikes Ack, and as such, any votes for it will simply be ignored.

That's the case for most of the 'inactive' fics, but Ack's actually stated he's working on Slippery Slope alongside whatever fics get voted on until it's done (so far seems about 1 chapter of SS for each voted on chapter, but it's up to Ack's whims) for several reasons, including (but not limited to):

-He's more or less fully mapped out the plot, and knows where it's going.
-It's loss in the vote that removed it from the voting list (for having the least votes) was a statistical outlier, it was normally one of his highest voted for fics (and had the most vocal supporters).
-Because he feels like it.

Frankly, that last one is all that really matters in the end.

I wouldn't be surprised if SS ends within 3-4 chapters though (depending on the end-point, I could even see it ending as early as next chapter). I don't think Ack would say he'll work on it to the end, if it still had 10+ chapters.

Votes for it will still be ignored though, since it's not on the voting list.
