Can I ask for a clarification about how your schedule works? (Sorry in advance if you find the following to be rude, I am really just asking for info about your schedule, not demanding anything or accusing you of anything)
I'm gonna be doing War Games next, yes.Can I ask for a clarification about how your schedule works? (Sorry in advance if you find the following to be rude, I am really just asking for info about your schedule, not demanding anything or accusing you of anything)
From what I understand you post 2 commissioned chapters per month (this month it was Halping and Price of Blood) that are not part of the voting order.
So how exactly do you proceed each month? Do you write the 2 commissioned chapters and after that you start the one on the voting order?
I'll finish it, then hit up February's commissioned chapters, one of which is one that hasn't been updated in a while and the other ... well, I don't know which one that will be.The next story is War Games. Are you planning on releasing it next, or will you start writing it and when the next month comes you will put it one the back-burner and go back to the commissioned chapters and leave it for the end of February? After all, since you are paid by your patrons for the chapters you have to give the commissions priority.
I won't be starting the commissioned chapters till February. If I finish War Games quickly, I might start on the next in line or I might do something else, such as work some more on my novel. What happens if you get inspired and finish it fast? Will you continue with the following chapter in the order (Trump Card probably) or will you start what you guess will be the next commissions.
Yes.What I am really asking is will you always try to post a voted chapter between the commissioned ones (if you believe that you have the time to finish the commissioned ones obviously) ?
I will try to get back to that one. Given that the focus is off certain issues, I can see myself working on it again. Also on a different note are you planning to return to Slippery Slope? You put it on hiatus because of the mess in ▅▅▅▅ because of ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅. You said you would return when things calmed down. Have you given any thought about it? I ask because you said you had it all planned out and were on a roll to finish it.
It will be continued. If someone commissions it, it will be continued much more quickly. However, you may have noticed that I'm trying a slightly different format with it. Whereas my other stories range from 6K to 12+K in length, generally increasing as the fic gets on, I'm keeping the chapter lengths to Reality Intrudes down to 2.5-3.5K in length. Short and sharp, with enough length for a bite, but not enough to get lost in.Finally about your newest story (Reality Intrudes). You were updating it a lot but then you stopped. Is it like Halping and Price of Blood (stopped unless someone commissions a chapter and/or you get inspiration to write one), or are you continuing it and just don't have the time to write for it?
Slippery Slopewill be posted alongside the regular chapters. is currently on hiatus due to ... events. Will return at some future point. Hopefully soon.
After that, either Alea Iacta Est, Recoil or Hostage Situation.
Check out Jim Starluck 's spreadsheet for a reasonable prediction.
1) UP TO six votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
2) First vote is worth six points, second is worth five, and so on.
3) You can't vote twice on the same story. The voting code will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
4) If I say "Voting is CLOSED", then this post comes up, with "Voting is OPEN" at the bottom, then you can vote again.
5) If I say "Voting will continue", it's still the same voting period. Voting has not restarted. You can not vote a second time.
6) If you vote for a story that is not on the voting list, those point(s) will go to the story that got the least number of vote points that round.
6a) When I have finished a few of the current fics, I will look at bringing stories back on to the list.
[X] Alea Iacta Est - 6
[X] I, Panacea - 5
[X] War Games - 4
[X] Recoil - 3
[X] Trump Card - 2
[X] NSW - 1
Specifically: SQUARE brackets around an X, one space, and please spell at least the first word of the name of the story properly. Number of voting points comes last. Please try to format your vote properly, so as not to confuse the vote counter.
