His new stories don't normally make it to the point of voting for awhile. It'll probably get a few updates before he starts talking about adding it to the list.

There's 2 fics (Confrontation and Brian&Aisha) that are 1 chapter from completion, and 1 fic 5-6 chapters from completion (Security!). Ack's doing a vote to see which of his new fics get on the voting list when one of his other fics finishes. So theoretically Slippery Slope could be on the voting list within a few updates.

I REALLY want All Alone on that list. It looks like it's going to be a glorious trainwreck.
 
This is why I've been voting B&A and Confrontation at the top, it means less work for Ack and more new things for us to read.

All Alone actually tied with War Games last vote, so Ack chose War Games as the one to add; since War Games was started a week or so before All Alone.

While talking about Glorious Train Wrecks though... Have you read Slippery Slope? You don't get more Train Wreck than THAT, and it's so incredibly well done!

...Slippery Slope....pushed a few of my buttons, especially since it s well done. I may come back to it at a later date but right now I have enough 'trainwreck' in my life. No offense to The Great Ack.

Actually, it turned out that War Games got one extra vote (which was badly formatted so it didn't show up).

It's been a totally non-serious NSFW piece, utterly without reference to continuity or any real effort toward characterisation, and I've had fun writing it. However, it's also utterly devoid of plot, and so it's reached the end of its run.

    Alea Iacta Est: Taylor triggers with a variation on Dinah's power, and events begin to diverge from canon almost immediately.

    All Alone: Emma is killed in the alley by the ABB, who are in turn slaughtered by Shadow Stalker. Taylor has to deal with the death of her best friend, just a year after she lost her mother.

    Nemesis: A Worm story with all original characters; the main character wakes up with amnesia and unexpected (and unwanted) super-powers. He quickly clashes with the forces of law and order, including an arrogant local superhero.

    The Slippery Slope: Taylor makes friends at Winslow. They belong to the Empire Eighty-Eight.

    For anyone who hasn't voted on this thread before, the voting rules go as follows:

    1) UP TO five votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
    2) First vote is worth five points, second is worth four, and so on.
    3) You can't vote twice on the same story. First vote is the only one that counts. QQbot will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
    4) If I say "Voting is CLOSED", then this post comes up, with "Voting is OPEN" at the bottom, then you can vote again.
