With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

I really want to see everyone's reactions to this ability.
I really want to see if Mr Zoat remembers his own rules for assimilation.

Because Angstrom is like a thousand different people in a single body, and that's more then enough memories to completely destroy this Paul's mind given a single symbiont was nearly enough to do similar.

He is a bunch of mesed up memories that have left him mostly mad, if anything his lacking sense of self should make asimilation easer than normal, IMO.

If I remember correctly, Paul doesn't get blasted by a construct's memories unless something destroys the construct. So he should be able to avoid the mind whammy if nothing ever pops that bubble.
Also, when he absorbs the Construct Lanterns into his rings, if I recall. It happened to Grayven when he assimilated Savage or the Illustres when he absorbed the Praexis Demons, for example.

Oh crap An OL with a reliable means of Dimensional travel.
and he's not mainline Paul which may or may not be a good thing.

at least he's not Paul who's gone the monarch route

Bricks of pure neutronium were shat.

"What the fuck did you just do?!"

"You know when your wife finds out about this you're pelvis is going to be ground to powder with how much she's going to ride you."

"Dude really, He just sucked the guy into his ring and you're on about how his wife is going to find that hot?"

"It's Anissa."

"Wait he's married to that crazy bitch, ok yeah I can see her getting turned on by this."

"They couldn't fly. I went up until I got out of the atmosphere; no sound up there. Then I met up with Gay Invincible and his boyfriend gave me ear plugs."
Until now I thought this was just a joke or baseless assumption from the others, but then I thought for a moment and I realised they probably think Orange Lantern is a male version of Atom Eve. I feel a bit silly for not getting it, given how the idea of him being an alternate Atom Eve has come up multiple times.

The Invincible being sacrificed is presumably one of the invaders captured, knocked unconscious, and put in local!Invincible's costume.

For my own amusement and based on literally nothing, I have decided that the Invincible who was captured was Thong!Invincible, and that local Mark is now wearing the thong costume during the ambish of Angstrom to pose as an invader.

No, he's wearing the fake moustache.

Care to enlighten those of us who aren't familiar with Family Guy lore?

There was a bit where mostly Peter and Stewie and Brian when they see something truly gross they start puking and don't stop. It's supposed to be what they saw was so gross.

It's about the ipecac drinking contest

For those who don't know ipecac is one of the things that can be used to induce vomiting in case of, for example, poisoning with something that won't do more damage on the way out.

Powerful stuff.

We'll probably see, "bubble popping" is not a bad summary of Invincible's fight aesthetics

One thing the Invincible arc is doing is reminding me of how Jervik the Controller upgraded his Effigy Corps with a bunch of enhancements, of which Viltrumite smart atoms were probably the most valuable. There was an arc back in late April fic-time (so between 2 and 3 months before the "present" of 10 July) when OL went out and put the Effigies through their paces, tested them out, and then went home.

It ended up thumbs-up, all great, guess NEMO is now going to use way more Effigies on the front lines as the primary soldiers and Orange Lanterns will be used more for their technical capabilities. And that was where it was left.

I wonder if that's really going to be it, and Jervik's efforts were simply a huge success.
