I've been enunciating it like the name of the fish, so no.

It should probably been N.E.M.O. when someone thinks it, but there are only so many hours in the day man.
I'd have thought a metric distance, or a time unit, would be more useful. For all we know, 10 miles could translate to something with recurring decimals in Thanagarian predominant units. Or does the ring convert it to a colloquial estimate?

I've just started playing Sovl, and my current run is a dwarf army lead by an engineer. My engineer has a wizard's stats but no spells or ranged weapons. His unique ability boosts a war engine, but I don't start with any of those. So I can give him better weapons and make him a worse thane, or just forget about him. But when I finally get a war machine, he'll do great.

Jade isn't actually comfortable with the idea of being altered in that way. Just about the only thing she'd accept would be awakening, because that's just removing some limits on her peak abilities and making her magically more her. But that's the one thing he can't do.

Edit: I was mistaken. I got a bolt thrower, blessed it on turn one and I think it killed 2 zombies in 11 turns. My skill 5 Iron Breakers with handguns on the other hand are unstoppable.

She doesn't seem to have any problem with using tools as such. After all, this arc we see her using the Darkstar armor and associated systems quite a bit. So maybe she just needs better tools. Jade didn't want a power ring because of how it affected her mind, but DC comics has plenty of one-off weirdo devices floating around. The main thing would be to find one that fits well with her fighting and investigation style.

The recent discussion about how Mirror Master's mirrors aren't technically magic but aren't exactly science either, more some kind of "knothole in reality" was pretty interesting. I wonder if Jade could do well with something like that; not so much about power as operating at a right angle to everyone else.

Hmmmm. It's not just the Mirror Master; other Flash villains seem so weird that they might fall into that category.

Like The Top. Spinning? Okay in regular DC universe we might say he's accessing the speed force, but that doesn't exist in Earth-16. So perhaps he represents some alternate method of achieving super speed that doesn't depend on alchemical augmentation. Maybe it would be possible to use his notes or journals to figure out how to duplicate his means of achieving superspeed by "training".

Superspeed Jade would be pretty terrifying, actually. Especially if she got her hands on a magic sword. Kind of like Paragon's version of Renegade's Amane. If she could do it without enhancing her body with alchemy so it was her achievement, she might go for it.

Tools are fine. Anything she can take off or put down without chirurgery.
