  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Would this be a violation of Rule 8?

Just want to be sure, but I want to make a reference to a certain island in one of my stories. Context is a guy talks to Junko Enoshima and asks if she was there. She then confirms she was, she willingly got abused there before she burned it all down when she got bored. No names would be mentioned.

When writing a story as long as your character is not getting up on a soapbox to spout about modern politics, you're generally safe.

I don't know enough about the person or character you're referencing there to give a 100% definitive answer.

If you are really worried you can open a thread in appeals with the specific parts… however staff would get to looking at it discussing it and deciding at our own pace, as we really don't want to be proofreading stuff.

Junko is the main villain of Danganronpa, where she she is so hyper focused on the concept of Despair, she basically ended her world through mass anarchy because she was bored. The whole series is know to be very edgy, so I was planning on her making a reference to being on that island to be something inline with what her character would do.

It would only be about two sentences of her saying something along the lines of getting passed around by a couple of old rich guys before she eventually killed them, made the other victims think she was going to help them, but only to kill them all as well because the betrayal would get her off.

Nothing else would be said regarding this and the story would move on. Is this fine?

We're pretty lax about story content, so that's fine. Just don't go discussing the RL political context surrounding the owner of the island, or naming who you think his potential associates might be, in the comments. :V

Yeah, it'll just be refered to as "that island" and no actual people would be mentioned.

Thanks for the clarification Mods.
