Yoh Asakura Quest (Shaman King)

Just like last time lol.
Btw next time I say we should do double furyoku or furyoku + itoko (Mt Osore is near); we don't even know what we will unlock since we are done with the mirror.

How much large? Is it limited to the actual timeline or we can go for future possible events and going for the feels?
More than 3 paragraphs at least, and I'd have preferred something that would describe the trial Yoh would have undergone.

Hn. Maybe something tyying into his time in Iron maiden. Hanging without sensations on the edge of death in perfect darkness. That can only be the height of Ascetism could it not?
Technically yeah.

Also update incoming.

Mountain...Falling
Once again you look over the Yata no Kagami seeking to find the final secret it hides.

You could sense the spirit inside and using your Furyoku you nudge it from inside the Mirror. As you nudge the spirit awake the Yata no Kagami begins to vibrate as the spirit inside is roused.

Soon the vibrations became too much causing you to drop the mirror which landed on its back as the spirit inside came blasting out forcing you to fall on your ass from shock.

As the spirit was released from the mirror you start to see its form.

a01134011075c89225f2dab47e5b6e4f.jpg

The spirit before you was in Seiza position with her head bowed forward enough to hide her face from you. Though her pink hair and fox ears and tails, alongside the shear amount of Reiryoku rolling off of her form catch your attention.

As you look at the fox(?) spirit before you, your thoughts are interrupted as she speaks, "Hello Goshujin-sama. This Misukune, humbly accepts your proposal, please regard me gently."

As she speaks you cannot help but be captivated by how beautiful her voice was, once she was done talking she bowed deeply towards you, causing you to blush at how respectful she was being to you.

However the meaning of the spirit's words flew over your head as not only were you distracted by her voice, but also by a specific part of her.

So distracting was it the first words out of your mouth when you spoke to her was, "Can I touch your tails?" And no you did not sound like a begging puppy you had more pride than that despite what any else would say!

As she got up from her bow, she simply giggled as she nodded in ascent bringing her tails to you. You were soon rubbing against the soft, furry limbs with a wild abandon.

You could tell this was the start of a beautiful partnership.

[Guardian Spirit/Wife(?): Misukune(?) obtained!]

Once more you place yourself into the tortuous hands of the Iron Maiden for six months.

[1d100+13: 73. 18*73*6]

[+7884 Furyoku]

Once more you could feel your Furyoku grow, however despite the growth you could feel that your Furyoku levels were no where near the level of Misukune's Reiryoku. Thus served to give you a piece of humble pie and reaffirm your desire to get stronger in order to find and convince you brother to come back home.

[1d100: 96. +1 Wisdom. +1 Endurance]

[1d100+23: 25]

You had looked forward to your Ascetic training, it would've been a nice time to train your body and get to know your deadbeat of a father.

However the man seemed to have forgotten that you were a complete novice in mountain climbing and took you on an extremely dangerous climb, a climb which you fell from a quarter of the way up, and the idiot didn't even notice!

The moment you can Oversoul with Misukune properly you were gonna blast the idiot to pieces. You ended up spending the rest of your year in the hospital because the idiot hadn't checked up on you.

[Reduced Relations with Mikihisa Asakura]

[Ascetic Training Rank 5: Ascetics climb treacherous terrains in order to train their bodies as they attempt to gain enlightenment and spiritual growth. You have started on the path of learning to reach enlightenment through strengthening your body. You suffer reduced penalties when moving through treacherous terrain]

[1d100: 68. +1 Strength]

Xx.xX

Finally the year is over and you are now seven years old.

1d6=1. +1 Strength
1d6=3. +3 Dexterity.
1d6=5. +5 Endurance.
1d6=3. +3 Intelligence.
1d6=3. +3 Wisdom.

You could again feel the results of your training from throughout the year...though you still feel like blasting your father through the manor the moment he shows his face in front of you.

However this wasn't the time for that. It was the time for presents!

[Yohmei's Present: 1d100=66]

Grandfather had heard of your accident from your Ascetic training and ended up getting you a book on Spiritual Healing. You thank him as this way you could probably heal yourself much quicker than being forced to stay in a foreign hospital after smashing your bones from a fall.

[+5 to one General Shamanism Training]

[Kino's Present: 1d100=57]

Your grandmother apparently was put off from your father's stupidity and sent you a book on Pressure Points.

You really like some of the idea's the book gives you, especially if you could give your father temporary incontinence with just a poke.

[Can Train in Martial Art: Pressure Points]

[Keiko's Present: 1d100=29]

Unfortunately your mom couldn't be here for your birthday as she was too busy yelling at your deadbeat father for his stupidity.

[Mikihisa's Present: 1d100=95]

Your father was apparently really sorry, or your mother was really just that scary, as he ended up sending you one-third of the Sessho-seki stone left behind by the Kyuubi-no-Kitsune: Tamamo-no-Mae.

Of course you're still going to punish the jerk, no pretty rock was going to keep you from your payback after all.

[Gained ⅓ of Tamamo-no-Mae's Sessho-seki]

You leave out your letter journals of this year and the previous for your brother to read should he come over this year.

Xx.xX

[Hao's Present: 1d100=68]

When you woke up you saw the journals gone this time with a book on advance Onmyoudou techniques in it, in their place.

Smiling you say a small thank you to your brother.

Now that we actually have a spirit, it might be worth training in general Shamanism. Maybe it will reduce the furyoku cost?

No prodigy trait, but those gifts felt so good, especially the tamamo stone!

Let's get onmyoudou as well. Fluffy is an onmyoudou user after all. Hopefully this will help in forging a better relation with Casko.

Think we should spend this year getting a bit better skills rather than just purely going for Furyoku.
Also Burning, is there any way to get more than 3 things to do a year? because there are a lot of 0's on our skill sheet and i doubt anyone is going to vote for Art or anything like that with such a limited amount of actions.

Better Endurance for one, its what leads to how much punishment you can take after all. After this round you'll get an additional action.

Furyoku and spirits are really important, so we pretty much do those every turn: with more actions we can do things better and faster, in a broader way.
Anyway, from what I can see, is it possible that every 20 endurance points we have another action? Also, if we have all the stones, does it helps for something, trigger an event or acts as a medium? And last but not least, does general shamanism levels affects the furyoku demand for the OS?

True but if we just focus on Furyoku we'll have a large amount of power, but not many ways to apply it.
Spending a year just training will cheer up our parents/grandparents as we're not spending a third year in a row shoving ourselves inside an Iron maiden and will give us more options in utilizing our power in case any event's pop up.
Plus from what i can tell we're already quite a bit stronger than Canon Yoh already so it's not that important to keep training in it every single time, the only reason people seem to be so set on it is that they keep comparing it to late game Shaman King.

And Misukune's absurd base full power.

We are just stubborn like that :p
Anyway Burning, could you answer the questions I just edited in the post before, please? I don't know if you saw them: I don't even know how to tag ;_;

Well, we also need an absurd amount of Furyoku just to endure Misukune for a prolonged periods of time, and oh gods does that sounds so wrong for a kid.

Does our family kbew about her, by the way?

In order: Yes, so you can see why Endurance bonuses can be important. The Sessho-Seki is a rather powerful medium considering that it still holds a large chunk of Misukune's power and it also can act as a potent cursing/shamanic tool. General Shamanism affects how well you can form an OS, meaning that even if you use less then the minimum required you'd possibly have a better OS then if you hadn't trained it.

They know about the Kami Class ghost you apparently woke up.[/USER]

Thanks for answering everything!
So it would be pretty useful if we train general shamanism, since OS will be important in the future....
Are there ways to quickly train out endurance? Also, where can we find the other 2 stone pieces?

Ascetism and Furyoku can give bonuses to Endurance.

As for the other 2 pieces, they are currently enshrined in two other places in Japan.

In future can we travel or we should hope for some lucky roll/event?
