In the process of developing my ritual I tested out Caryll Runes by applying them to myself.

Even while crippled I gained notable temporary effects.
I'd use those first as proof as those can be made the fastest.
My ritual took about five Months of prep time. Even with a second participant doing another would take anywhere between 2.5 and a year depending on research and funds as I'd either need to redesign the first to allow for a second participant or make a different one.
