Life has decided to kick me between the legs repeatedly the last bit. Internet outages, multiple family members being hospitalised, my own health taking a hit, kid being suspended from school, busy work schedule… just a lot of stuff that's meant finding time to do quests has been rough. I'm hoping things will improve so I can do them soon

If you actually don't know how drop ins work, there are two main ways they're decided. One, they're decided by the Author. Two, You wheel of fortune it. Start with the continents and work your way down. That's as random as it gets.

It's in the Wizarding World Jump you already added other Perks from. Also Part-Elf, -Veela, -Vampire, -Goblin and such. I'd suggest just putting it into the Wizarding World category. Heritages are part of the wider culture after all.
