Ao3 writers can be such snowflakes. A year or so ago I made a lengthy comment on a fic I liked, pointing out some glaring and basic flaws in MC's strategy and suggesting corrections and alternatives (of the grammatical and strategic variety). My comment disappeared, which made me think that perhaps I accidentally deleted my comment, or that I had not posted it at all.

So I typed out everything, again.

Another person then replied to my comment that I was being rude because I wrote a 'lol' while pointing out a spelling error that I found funny. Another commenter then told me (in Spanish) that my comment was like that of a teacher talking down to a student.
