You should go to the Essence thread for questions like that. I believe for this essence, the more widely known information is, the faster the grimoire will find it. If you're looking for a piece of information lost to time, it will take a bit longer for it to be found (author's fiat), but it will eventually be found.

Huh. Culture clash as well as Devils having ruined the reputation of Fairies is an interesting take.

I kinda always followed the notion (don't remember where I heard it) that Fairies were an allegory for nobility from the common folk's point of view. The peasants view nobles and their actions as alien, inhuman and unreasonable, which is why they want to deal with them as little as possible.

That is absolutely part of what I didn't go into there, yeah. For nobles, and for merchants, depending on the specific story. Particularly merchants from far away places like China or India, where the culture was very different and neither party understood one another's language very well.
